ββββββ C L O T H I N G__Though his items of clothing are all worn and tattered, he is surprisingly well-dressed for someone who has spent the last ten years of his life in an asylum. He has developed an affinity for suits, ties and hats. While he fashioned everything himself (out of materials from around the asylum), he believes that his closest friend (yet another of his hallucinations) made it for him, and that's why he needs to wear the suit. Much like the issues surrounding his weight, Skelly's disorder means he doesn't understand that he has to wash and keep up with his hygiene; he believes he's a walking, talking skeleton. Why would a skeleton need to shower? As such, he carries an almost sickening odour.
ββββββ O T H E R__Skelly is almost dangerously underweight, due to his hatred for food and his disorders tricking him into believing he doesn't need to eat. His skin is tight, his musculature is lacking, and his bones are unhealthily visible beneath his flesh. His clothes are designed to fill out his form, therefore disguising this. Not to mention, he is sickly pale all the times, save for the dark patches around his eyes.

Skelly's personality is based mainly around Skulduggery Pleasant, while the other characters in the story are portrayed through his schizophrenia.
One of the first impressions that Skelly gives off when meeting new people is that he's very much a gentleman. He's overall dapper (despite his flaws), and suave with regards to his overabundance of confidence and charming qualities. Not to mention, the fact that he is well-spoken combined with his surprisingly mature and polite mannerisms give him the outward appearance of someone who is quite elegant. He acts with an innate smoothness to his movements and voice, and is generally very cool-headed; it's like nothing can really phase him. While he's not entirely passive in the face of conflict, he's also not the type to panic. As well as this, despite there being many reported cases of his uncontrollable rage, it's not easy to push his buttons to the level where he feels he needs to act out. He's just very nonchalant, almost all of the time - despite what some may believe.
Another things which becomes painfully apparent when spending time around Skelly is that his sense of humour is rather bizarre. He makes a joke out of everything he can, really, and he responds to most - if not all - situations with a sarcastic tone and a sceptical outlook, despite the fact that he seems like an eternal optimist. He rarely complains, though he's not the happy-go-lucky type who always tries to cheer others up. It's quite the opposite, actually. Because, more than anything, Skelly is truthful and highly trustworthy, despite being blunt at times. He won't beat around the bush; he'll tell you like it is because he won't see the point in lying, regardless of the consequences. He's known to be much more sensitive around close friends - he might even go as far as to stretch the truth or lie completely, if it means that they can be safe or that they'll be happy for just that little bit longer. He cares little for anyone else, though he's not completely apathetic. He's just more sarcastic, and much less serious.
Going back on the last point, Skelly is highly friend and family oriented. He doesn't grow attached to everyone, but anyone he actually likes will soon be added to the list of people he'd protect with every fibre of his being. He'd push himself to hell and back to care for the people he loves, though he has his moments. For example, he's constantly trying to establish a sense of hierarchy amongst himself and anyone who choose to accompany him (permanently or not). Control is like a drug for him, and so he sees himself as being in charge in most situations. Like, he's the leader, and everyone else is just following him around. If he loses this sense of control, he can become agitated, and there's no telling what could happen.

β· Skinning | There's something almost fascinating about the removal of skin from a deceased body. He became fairly skilled over the years, before - of course - being emitted.
β· Taxidermy | It's really a pity he doesn't get the chance to do it more often. He had quite a few little furry friends he kept by his beside through his teen years.
β· Punching Things/People | Something he'll openly state in front of others. He's convinced that 'punching people' is more of a job description than a general liking.
β· His Car | He had a 1954 Bentley R-Type Continental, and it was his pride and joy. He becomes sad at the mere thought that it was impounded.
β· Friends | He has quite a few friends, 99% of which are all in his head. However, they're certainly more likeable than any he's likely to meet in real life, so he doesn't complain.
β· Suits | He has developed some kind of affinity for finely-tailored suits. Despite his hygiene issues and such, he maintains a well-kept and dapper outward appearance.

β· Coercion | He can be very persuasive when he wants to be.
β· Combat | Punches, kicks, jabs, blocks, throws, counterattacks, choke holds, body locks, counter locks, etc. He's not the type of guy to randomly pick on.
β· Tailoring | Though he's not aware of it, he can fashion entire outfits with ease.
β· Gracefulness | He's the furthest thing from 'clumsy' you're ever likely to find.

β· Cunning | There's not much that can slip past his notice.
β· Reflexes | He has quick reflexes, which can be incredibly helpful in combat situations.
β· Resourceful | He's always the man with the plan; finding solutions come easily to him.
β· Observant | Picking out details and such is something of a hidden talent. He doesn't announce things aloud and prefers to keep most observations to himself.
β· Underweight | As a result, he's nowhere near as strong as he could be; he's fairly weak.
β· Overconfident | He often overestimates his own skills, which lands him in bad situations.
β· Forgetful | He has a hard time keeping track of his own actions and situations.
β· Delusional | After forgetting something, he'll create fake situations and excuses in order to fill the blanks, and he'll convince himself they're true.
w e a k n e s s e s
β· Kindness | Overall, he would never even attempt to harm someone who didn't truly deserve it. He's rather soft when it comes to such things, especially children or younger patients.
β· Hallucinations | He is often made to be a victim of his own bizarre imagination.
β· Losing Control | As previously stated, he can become agitated, sometimes even enraged.
β· Headaches | He suffers terrible headaches and migraines, on a daily basis.
