- âĩ Losing himself in his guilt: After a long while, Ethan has finally been able to eliminate the guilt that comes with being a Fallen. However, sometimes he still feels guilty for all the lives he has taken. He fears those times the most as he will be tormented by his own sins for days, even months on end. The nightmares will get worse, he will have insomnia trying not to sleep. He hears voices when he kills and most of all, it's the time that he easily loses control of himself the most trying to get rid of the guilt.
âĩ The monster he has become: Ethan honestly fears himself now. He can barely look at his own reflection in the mirror without his contact lenses on. And even on those times, Ethan avoids looking directly in the mirror. He fears what he is, what he stands for and most of all, what he has created because of his own ignorance.
âĩ Accidentally hurting his loved ones: 799 years have passed since the day Ethan was turned. However hard he tried to contain his instincts, Ethan still loses control himself every so often especially in the periods where he's consumed by his guilt. He welcomes the loss of his control then because it will make him forget but hates and fears it because it means he will most likely harm everyone he loves. He has already lost control several times and caused some disasters like going on a rampage and killing every human near him. He's afraid he will hurt her.
- â First of all, Ethan is in a secret relationship with Fran (or Jen, as he often calls her). He finds her compassion for the others lovely and a nice change from all the cruelty he witnesses (and sometimes, inflicts himself) everyday. They are just in the beginning state of being lovers (holding hands, kissing,...etc). Ethan will not drink from Jen without her consent. |hasn't happened in the rp yet|
â Another secret of Ethan is that... he's still somewhat sympathetic to humans. He has long accepted his conditions and is able to live as a Fallen fairly easily
â The last secret is pretty important in Ethan's opinions... though they are poorly hidden and everyone can obviously see it
Personality: "Hmm, there's nothing interesting about myself"
First and foremost, Ethan is willing to talk to anyone in his coven. He joins in conversations if the others invite him, he will reply to most questions they ask, and he will most likely contribute in talks that he deems interesting. However, Ethan almost never starts a conversation willingly. He's an isolated person, that much is obvious. He hates being the center of attention, and pretty much prefers to blend in the background until his presence is needed. He's quiet and subdued, a protective shadow instead of a shiny knight in armor. He never quite causes a fuss and likes to keep his emotions in a tight leash lest they control him. When not required, Ethan likes to sit in a corner and read his few favorite books. If the need arises, Ethan can be pretty social but otherwise, he likes to be alone. Once upon the time, Ethan's lips would curl up in disgust at the prospect of following orders and doing missions for the Coven Leader. Nowadays, he enjoys doing these kinds of things. They give him a sense of purpose that he has lost when he became a vampire. Protecting the Coven and obeying Aphrodite's words are his new purposes now... At least, that is before he meets her.
One of Ethan's characteristics that has never lost despite the long years he has spent being a vampire is his stubbornness. Even now, long after he has given up his attempts to kill Aphrodite and free himself, he still doesn't admit that he has accepted his place. Never once he says out loud that he likes being a vampire. In fact, if anyone asks him, Ethan will outright reject the ideas. He will instantly tell people that he hates being a vampire and then promptly lists a long list of things that he hates. However, deep deep down, Ethan is thankful for being a vampire. He loves the strength, the stamina, flexibility, and reaction time that come from being a vampire for 799 years. He loves how the enhanced senses allow him to enjoy the world more than he ever could when he was still human. He is stronger, faster,...better. With his stubbornness comes another typical characteristic... fierce. When he has the chance to express it, Ethan is a very forceful and demanding person. He wants people to do their best and won't take 'no' for an answer. He's unrelenting, unyielding, unwavering in battles and missions.
History:
Your character's life up until now, but keep to high points. Reading the life of a 1500 year old vampire might be a bit much, so be a bit picky with what you choose to write down in that case. If you're a human, we need you to expand a bit on how you character ended up with vampires. We made things vague to give you room to use your imagination. If you're a vampire, we will need something on how and by who you were turned, along with how you ended up with your Coven. We need at least 2 paragraphs, and we're not putting a max because some histories need space to properly fold out. Enjoy the writing!

- ⲠDue to his discomfort being seen as a Vampire ("And a Fallen at that!"), Ethan always wears brown contact lenses to hide the true blood red color of his eyes. No one has seen his real eye color except for Jen.
ⲠThe only person he allows to call him Gab is Jen. As a sign of trust, when they're near each other, Ethan will remove his contact lenses. Also, he has seen her scars.
ⲠEthan is teaching Jen how to detect lies and how to defend herself against attackers.
