Hanako Sakimoto's Story

Hanako rolled her eyes at Karin's disbelief in what was her largest investment of her career. "Yeah that's pretty good, no need to worry a whole lot though. We shouldn't need to worry too much about most of the Marines that frequent this place, you're a Marine after all and since I'm you know, technically arrested right now, I'm fine with you around" she says, casually brushing off her partner's worry. "I can take out most pirates quick enough too, though in the event someone starts something and knows Haki there might be a problem." she explains.

She spots the island in the distance and slams on a fresh boost to the current around them to get them there a bit faster, but soon regretted it as her headache kicked in, making her clutch her head, but luckily judging by the level it wouldn't last too much longer. "ugh... definitely not burning myself out with my powers that long again... sheesh..." she complains to herself. The boat eased rather neatly into a small inlet, "there we go, all neat and stuff, hope you're ready, I'd like to get done with you're business soon and go home." she urges, grabbing the chest at the end of the boat with a long water tendril and casually hurled it roughly 100 or so feet out into the water.

"You never did tell me what we're doing here you know" Hanako says, turning toward Karin with a raised eyebrow.

After making sure the identity papers were in order, and her sword could be drawn from her back with easer, Karin answered Hanako. " We're here because you and the late Redbeard wasted my vacation time and destroyed some of my...medicine. I don't want to go back to the Marine's right now, so I'll just go straight to the manufacturers here. There are enough pirates here I'm sure to keep you busy if you want money."
