After the outbreak of a civil war, a group of settlers leave towards the dark lands, a dangerous place, but better than their former home where death is near certain. Being only few, the settlers are at least a number of experienced warriors, healers and workers. The demons in the dark lands aren't as bad as people say they are and are willing to help if they receive help themselves. But there are people from the old country that seek to hunt down a couple of the settlers due to crimes or rivalries from the past.

The Dark Lands: A place where it night time most of the time yet warm in climate. While most animals are rather harmless while occasionally wolves reign. Demons however are said to be hostile, while in reality they are hospitable as long as they arent dealing with an invading force. Most of the area is woods and plains. On days with sunlight there are only about three hours of daylight. There are rumors of a being in the darkest parts that grants anyone willing to stay in the dark lands great power. He is also known as the father of demons.
