The moment Hugo had hit fourteen, the usually quiet boy had decided it was time to rebel. To be fair, Hugo is rather proud of the tattoo he had gotten behind his parents’ backs and he’s basically hidden it from everyone besides his close cousin, Lily. The tattoo spans over most of his chest and stomach area, with an intricate pattern that Hugo had fallen in love with the moment he set his eyes on it. Hugo is also planning on getting another tattoo in the near future when Lily agrees to it.
Other than these tattoos, Hugo has not got many other features on his skin. He has stayed away from piercings and has no birthmark. In terms of scars- Hugo has always been a calmer member of the large Weasley family umbrella, and tends to measure his movements out carefully. This has allowed Hugo to lead a rather unblemished life style for the past fourteen years.
{ Quidditch }
Much to the pride of his father, Hugo managed to land himself in the Gryffindor Quidditch team during his third year at Hogwarts. But rather than becoming a keeper- as his father had been for a year- Hugo was chosen to become a Beater due to his rather large amount of strength.
Hugo has, however, tried out as both Seeker and Keeper in the past. He was turned down as Seeker due to his large physique that hindered the nimble movement that tends to be required of Seekers. As for his try-out as Keeper- well, Hugo himself hadn’t really found an interest in the placement in the first place.
{ Oddities }
Much like Lily, Hugo is also into weird little gadgets and gizmos. He loves to test them out and wear them on a near daily basis though not as much as Lily who wears weird little trinkets basically everyday. Hugo tends to just have his weird glasses (as pictured) on, as he claims that they give him another basis of seeing through to the world- and bring along the probability of seeing live nargals (or so Aunt Luna had told him as a child). Other than that, Hugo just dresses up like "normal" in his over-sized suits and comfortable- over-sized- shirts and the like.
Another thing about Hugo is that he just tends to disappear. This has grown more and more frequent over the past year, as one minute Hugo could be talking and chatting with a few friends- and then he would be gone. A handkerchief- slightly red, some say- has been seen on Hugo much more compared to before, and some claim to have seen Hugo stumbling into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom with his face paler than ever.
- Painting | "I don't know...dad and mum say I have a talent but...I really don't know. I tend to, you know, take a small sketch here, do a little painting there, nothing too fancy. Just scenery. Some portraits. Yeah..." A particular talent with oil paint and watercolor, Hugo commonly is seen drawing and painting on pieces of parchment and paper with vibrant colors. His subjects tend to either range from the large landscape beauties that surround Hogwarts to the portraits of his family members whom are studying along with himself. He tends to scrap each and every painting, however, except for those he has a particular liking for.
- Hogwarts | "It created an...escape. An escape from the hospitals, escape from the doctors...I really like it here, even though..."
- Lily | "Lily is one of the reasons why I've been able to pull through all these year. She's a positive force and I cannot be more thankful. I really cannot...I can only hope that I can find the right boy for her- and that definitely isn't that Scorpius Malfoy!" Since birth, Hugo and Lily had been pretty much inseparable. Hugo has constantly hidden behind Lily while she faced whatever outside forces came to clash against the two. He is ever thankful for her presence in his life and can only hope he can somehow repay it back to her.
- Transfiguration | "I don't know- this class just...really speaks to me, I guess? I've been dabbling in the ways of the animagi, but I haven't exactly cracked it yet..." For some reason, Hugo tends to believe that if is he able to unlock his animagi form, his body will miraculously heal itself due to the probable healthy state of the animagus form itself. Obviously, there have been no studies as to say that "yes, this is true", but Hugo thinks that he should at least strive for it.

{ DISLIKES }
- Pressure | "I can't really take it, you know? It makes me feel...very woozy and just- it just gets really hard to breathe and that, that, is so important for me right now." Hugo just can't really handle situations of pressure very well. Sure, he can complete whatever task he has to finish fairly well (though worse than if he were in a normal state-of-mind), and, yes, he can function properly, but Hugo tends to get panic attacks when he feels too much pressure on his shoulders. These attacks tend to be preceded by horrible jabs of pain in his stomach that Hugo uses as indications to leave social areas as fast as possible.
- His Illness | "Who could like this disease? I've already prepared myself for probable- probable- death. What can I do? What can I say? It's all just...so blank..."
- Medication | Though Hugo does take his medication on time, it's obvious that he does not enjoy the process of eating pill after pill of medicine. He tends to do this under the watchful eye of the nurse in the infirmary, whom bosses him until he is one, in the infirmary, two, seated properly, and, three, eating his medicine. This is one of the reasons why Hugo has been disappearing unexpectedly during the day.
- Hospitals | "I have had enough of hospitals for a life time. Even if this means that I die, I would rather not step into St. Mungo's ever again. But... I know I have reservations. Many. It's time that my doctor knows about the complications..."

- Gryffindor Quidditch team leader | "Well, father's always been talking about how he wished he could've become Quidditch team leader, you know, and...well, I just feel as if I should get that for him. I don't know." Though Hugo has this certain aspiration, it doesn't take up [i]too much of his mind and motivation. Anyways, with his current physical capabilities (Hugo has been stumbling through Quidditch practice), Hugo feels as if this goal is slipping further and further out of his grasp.

- To leave the United Kingdom | "I just want to leave this place- I don't know. It just feels as if the great outside has much more promise. { BAD HABITS }
- Biting nails | "It's really something I've been trying to change and stop- but even when...my hands are coated with paint...I can't stop myself." Hugo's constant problem with biting his nails was developed as the boy as a means of coping with stress. Whenever he feels under pressure, Hugo immediately starts to bite his nails. But the stress coping system has evolved into a habit, and from time to time Hugo will start to bite his nails, leaving them both weak and jagged at the ends.
- Cracking neck | "It's just something reflexive...I never really notice when I do it."
- Not keeping himself constantly neat looking | Though Hugo loves to keep his surroundings neat and tidy, this sentiment rarely ever translates to his own looks. Hugo can walk into class with clothes haphazardly thrown on his weak body, with clashing colors and the like. When he has to wear robes, they tend to automatically look shabby as well, what with how they tend to drape over Hugo's thin frame. His hair rarely ever helps, as it tends to look like Hugo just came inside from a huge storm.

Hugo tends to be rather hard to approach. Taciturn and quiet, Hugo rarely ever does try to create conversations with others unless he knows them well, and tends to avoid any situation where he'll have to encounter someone new. Even with people whom Hugo are acquaintances with, Hugo tends to keep distant unless needs be. This behavior is a combination of both the shyness Hugo had developed in a young age (due to his lack of interaction with others during most of his youth) and his need to hide his illness from others. Hugo is unwilling to allow other people to see how weak his body is, and tends to try and hide it as much as possible with the only way he thinks possible: avoiding everyone.
But there are rare moments when Hugo can suddenly grow energetic, with a smile crossing his usually extremely tired face. When he's painting, listening to music, reading, trying out new charms- Hugo can only really feel at peace when he is with himself. Or with Lily and his family, though it really depends on the situation itself. Underneath his cold, distant facade, Hugo tends to be extremely caring, and tends to leave tokens here and there as a reminder that, yes, he still loves them each with a large portion of whatever weak heart he currently has within his chest.
Now, most have mistaken Hugo in one certain way. Just because he is distant does not mean that the young boy doesn't have a temper. Hugo tends to go into temper tantrums during which he tends to lock himself in, furiously drawing until someone- someone close to him- comes and fetches him out of his mad craze. With how fragile Hugo's body is, it isn't a surprise to see how much stress it puts on his mental health as well. Especially when Hugo runs away to cough up blood, Hugo tends to break down into tears- and he is vehement to not let anyone see this happen.

Though Hugo does adore his mother- he really does-, her strict attitude can sometimes drive Hugo away. Not to mention he hasn’t really inherited much of Mrs. Weasley’s smarts. This has caused a slight rift between the two due to a sort of diffidence that Hugo tends to feel around both his sister and his mother.

Hugo is in good terms with his father. When Hugo was younger, the boy tended to strive to act as his father wished out of him, constantly trying to follow behind his father’s footsteps. It was only when he reached teenage-hood- and after a small talk with his parents- that Hugo really understood that his father, especially, wanted Hugo to build his own character based off of no preexisting mold.

It's obvious to see how the two are siblings. Though rather different in looks, both sport the bright ginger hair that is so iconic within the Weasley house. Not only that, both sport rather similar personalities as well, with both rather quiet and observant, rather than out-going and loud.

Lily Luna Potter | 14 | Alive | Student at Hogwarts
Lily is special in Hugo's eyes. The relationship between the two is purely platonic though many others tend to question if that really is true. This is because Hugo tends to hover around Lily as much and often as he can, trying to hold her hand and walk her to her next class before rushing as fast as he can to his own. Hugo adores Lily, but only in the sense of a best friend. If anyone does dare to do anything bad to Lily- even though he knows there are many people protecting Lily- Hugo would rush forward and throw a few feeble punches until his body burns out.
Hugo was born a year after his elder sister, Rose, to the happy Mr. and Mrs. Weasley (nee Granger), the same year that Lily Potter was born to the Potters. It was obvious that from that moment the two were destined to be great friends- or, well, would probably be seeing as they would go to Hogwarts during the same year. And so everything had gone along peacefully within the Weasley household. Hugo's magical powers started to manifest at a ripe young age of two, when he had caused pandemonium across the house. But, as Hugo grew up, it was obvious that he was of weak physical build; not only did Hugo catch colds very often, the boy was also born with hemolytic anemia that resigned Hugo to a life of many hospital runs and constant medical treatment. It had all been under control, however, and the hospital stays never went over a few hours- except for a few times during extremely bad colds. Unable to do much like what other children could do, Hugo dabbled in more sedentary activities such as painting, playing the piano (though he tends to stray away because he finds it all too stressful), the violin, bird-gazing, etc, rather than in activities such as tag and hide-and-seek. As other young wizards and witches were showing their magic and putting it to play in the playground, Hugo was using it on the canvas, manipulating the paint as good as he could with his feeble grasp on his powers.
On his eleventh birthday, as per usual to all wizards, Hugo received his invitation letter to attend Hogwarts. A large debate had ensued within the Weasley household. On one hand, both of his parents wanted Hugo to enjoy the life of an actual young wizard, to be sorted by the housing hat, to experience the adventures and surprises that Hogwarts hid at every corner. On the other hand, Hugo's sickness was growing worse and worse by the second. Doctor's had claimed that Hugo's anemia was growing worse and had started developing congestive heart failure symptoms, something that everyone had prayed would not happen. But through the fighting and debating, Hugo had stepped up and had claimed that he wanted to go to Hogwarts, to be sorted into a house and wear the actual Hogwarts robes.
"Thank God mum and dad didn't say no."
So, that year, Hugo was carted off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with all his needed belongings. Within the that day, Hugo was sorted into the Gryffindor House, for reasons that sorting hat did not divulge. There after, Hugo's stay at Hogwarts- that continues to this day- started. An above-average student, Hugo excels in Transfiguration and Charms, but his score tends to be brought down by Potions for reasons Hugo cannot fathom either. This has caused Hugo to start to almost permanently haunt the dungeon potions classes, ruminating over the process of brewing potions until his whole body reeked of herbs and other such disgusting substances. Needless to say, Hogwarts breathed new life into Hugo's body, seemingly rejuvenating the dying body his soul was trapped inside- but the coughing started. And then the blood came along: pneumonia.

Hugo and Celeritas have a long history filled with love and hate, so to speak. Celeritas had been Hugo's eleventh birthday gift from his uncle Charlie and George, whom both thought a more "unique" owl would be a great gift for a new student going to Hogwarts. It was, but it had felt like they had also- conveniently- chosen the most rowdy owl amongst the bunch during their trip to Indonesia. Celeritas himself is a rather old bird and had been somewhat the "leader" of the bunch of Enganno Scops owl bunch that had been at the apothecary Charlie and George had visited- proud, smart and cunning are the main attributes one would give to the bird if they ever saw him. Enough to say, when the owl had landed it's eyes on its new owner- a young, bright-eyed, most obviously weak 11-year-old- the owl had flipped its head, unwilling to cooperate one bit at all. However, Hugo has gradually managed to prove himself to his rather expensive birthday gift and Celeritas finally allowed Hugo to use him to send mail half-way through Hugo's second year at Hogwarts. Needless to say, Hugo loves his owl to bits- and tends to hug Celeritas out of whim- and the owl is slowly growing on the gradually wasting away boy as well.
