Setting
Pardus I is a dwarf planet located near the sun. It is highly radioactive, and the surface is mostly molten slag. Several attempts at mining have been made, but even shielded starships cannot last in the local space for long. The best effort made was by the Sria corporation. Utilizing several massive ships, they attempted to pull the planet out of alignment; the project was partially successful, but all of the ships were lost. The mass impacts of heavy starships wrecked the already damaged alignment, sending it elliptical. It is expected that Pardus I will be drawn closer to the sun, but then sling-shot away within a few years.
Pardus I
The planet closest to Pardus Star is a burned husk of a world, with nothing of value left on the surface. Most shielded starships cannot stay long here, and unshielded ships will be radiated husks falling planet-side within minutes.
