Personality:
Drew likes to blend inā¦ as much as he can in a box with only five other people. He comes off as aloof and haughty in his attempts to isolate himself, and he tends to get lost in his own thoughts, feeling the level of the conversation of the others is beneath him. It's not at all shyness, but rather a mix of pretentiousness and a genuine attraction to quiet. Though his intelligence cannot be denied, he is greatly lacking in terms of common sense and average skills such as cooking (which happens to be one of his passions), cleaning, etc. But he tries, often to the displeasure of the others.
Though he unintentionally sounds extremely condescending at times, when he interacts with the other inhabitants of the box he tries his best to be kind and rarely lashes out or speaks rudely of anyone (at least not purposefully, anyway). He hates conflict and confrontation and will most likely simply walk away if a simple solution does not present itself promptly. Nothing really phases him much; he's found no reason to worry, so why should he? Everything turns out fine eventually; it always has, and probably always will, right?
He's extremely interested in the way things work, and often finds himself asking for things from the box simply for the sake of seeing it materialize before him. Every once in awhile he likes to go and stare at the machines and be alone, not really contemplating or worrying over anything, just appreciating the way things work.
He also has a very dry sense of humor, and makes most of his jokes at the expense of others. He seems to know just what to say with just the perfect tone to really aggravate people.
"Huh? Oh... Were you just talking about me?"
Relationships:
Cassius St. James
Drew find's Cass's insistent independence admirable, though he often expresses this in an inappropriate, unintentionally condescending or demeaning way. He likes the fact that he likes music, and occasionally cares to know what he's listening to. However, he's quick to flee when he gets too emotional for his taste.
"He's pretty strong, managing with a disability like that. Neat music, too."
Kanari Tikoto
Even after a full year, Drew consistently forgets Kanari isn't a girl. When Kanari isn't mad at him for mistaking his gender, the two get along well enough. His energy is a bit much for Drew.
"Well if he'd just cut his hairā¦ or at least wear it differently I might not make the mistake so often."
Oliver Tanuki
Drew sees directly through Oliver's facade of being the tough guy, and as such he takes a secret pleasure in toying with him. Whether calling a bluff or talking him in circles, Drew does it with a nonchalant attitude and air of superiority to purposefully get underneath his skin while seeming completely innocent. He does realize, however, that Oliver truly does care about everyone.
"The 'boss'. Of course. I follow his orders and advice to a 'T', as should everyoneā¦ I can't even hold a straight face for that one."
Ivonne Stratsky
He's full of random questions that make Drew uncomfortable. It's difficult for him to engage in conversation, and as such their interaction and relationship has been fairly limited to exchanges best described as "polite".
"He'sā¦ uhā¦ a nice guy?"
Sasha Pandora Dragonov
There could not possibly be more indifference between two people. Other than the fact that Sasha doesn't like his food, Drew knows nothing of the stoic "boy" and doesn't care to find out.
