The Plot

It is 2067 and this world is not run by humans anymore, it is run by human's own creation, clones. Humans worked to form genetically perfect clones and now there are very few humans who are allowed to live on Earth, only those with a perfect genetic history can make it. Clones are genetically superior in every way, physically, mentally, and emotional control wise. Other than their superiority they are just like normal humans with thoughts and feelings of their own. When a clone goes to the hospital to be insta-healed for a broken leg, they find that there was a glitch in her genetic development, she needs to go. What will happen when this girl is on the run and finds secrets no one ever knew about? And a society struggling to survive. What shall become of this 'perfect world?'

Whisper didn't respond to Alana, she just kept struggling and screaming. Mark tipped the girl backwards so that her feet were dragging on the ground and she was in too awkward a position to get any good hits in. "Cmon, let's get her back to her room. I think she needs to get this out of her system."

Mark felt Whisper kick the door on the other side. She tried the doorknob, realized it was locked and sat down against the door and sobbed. Mark brought his knees up to his chest and laid his head on his arms. It was his fault Whisper was like this and he'd have to help her, not Alana.

After a little while Mark started talking to Whisper softly. At first he tried telling her how sorry he was and how he wished he wouldn't have to lock her up and how it was all his fault in the first place. He tried explaining what it felt like to have his mind taken over by a computer chip, his brain telling his mouth to speak one thing but hearing completely different words come out.

"I knew that I couldn't control myself but still I heard myself give away everything. I betrayed everyone and now here you are...tortured into madness..." He could feel tears forming in his eyes. "We got caught because of my stupid idea to leave and you got caught because I couldn't keep my fat mouth shut. I'm so sorry Whisper. You were always like my big sister...You were sometimes distant but I knew you were there for me whenever I needed you. Even when the others thought I was a freak, you cared about me. That's why I was always so happy to build stuff for you, anything because you deserved it. But you don't deserve this..."

He kept talking to her eventually just saying whatever came to mind. He wasn't even sure she was listening but it felt good to just talk. He told her about Alana and how she'd completely changed his life. "She gave me confidence I've never had before. She's always there for me. She makes me feel like I matter, like I'm worth something." He sighed. "She's like you in more ways than one I guess."
