Written Description- She's about 5' 4" and boyish built ie, very little in the way of curves, and pretty much flat chested, with short black hair, which has dark blue streaks through it, and bright green eyes with gold flecks in them, like a cat's. usual clothing is generally quite boyish, i.e. hoodies or loose tshirts, jeans and doc martens or converse.
other details are that she has a lip piercing and multiple hoops in the cartilage of her ears, as well as normal ear piercings, and has a small tattoo of a blue butterfly on the inside of her left wrist.

Personality: There are many words one can use to describe Beka. Unpredictable, violent, destructive, these are but a few. And they are all accurate, to a degree. Her personality is highly changeable, being quiet and withdrawn one minute, loud and obnoxious the next. Doesn't take any crap from anyone and will not hesitate to start a fight. This quick temper is her main flaw, as is her inability to control her emotions. Has a talent for looking at a fight, and being able to come up with a battle plan within a few seconds. However, this can sometimes be a bad thing, as it means that she often charges into battle without warning her allies what she's planning. Isn't the most social person, and has difficulty asking for help. Ironically enough, she isn't actually fond of fighting, but sees her tendency to do so as a side effect of her quick temper, though she makes no attempt to control this. Simply because it's just not possible.

Sexual Orientation: considers herself straight, but is slightly bi-curious. is in denial of this though.

History: half American, half Scottish, Beka grew up in Glasgow with her mother and her older brother. Unfortunately, it was a world rife with gangs and drugs, a world that her brother was caught up in, despite her mother's best interests. Completely addicted to various drugs, Daniel Lockhart stole money and got into fights to feed his habit. This is partly where Beka's quick temper and aptitude for fighting came from, as she would often be caught up in these fights, which were mostly with local drug gangs. It seemed for a while that Beka was in fact the older sister, as she protected her brother. Though there was one fight she couldn't protect him from: his addiction, and it eventually took his life. An event which drove her mother to the same drugs that killed her brother, her attempt to cope with the loss. Rather then let herself end up the same way, Beka made sure that her mother got rehab,and stayed there, before moving to america to live with her father.

Appearance: Has two forms, 'winter' and 'summer', which changes according to Beka's mental state. in Winter form, has curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and wears dark clothing. In summer form, has fiery red hair , green eyes, and wears white.

History:
Persephone was titled Kore (the Maiden) as the goddess of spring's bounty. Once upon a time when she was playing in a flowery meadow with her Nymph companions, Kore was seized by Haides and carried off to the underworld as his bride. Her mother Demeter despaired at her dissappearance and searched for her the throughout the world accompanied by the goddess Hekate bearing torches. When she learned that Zeus had conspired in her daughter's abduction she was furious, and refused to let the earth fruit until Persephone was returned. Zeus consented, but because the girl had tasted of the food of Haides--a handful of pomegranate seeds--she was forced to forever spend a part of the year with her husband in the underworld. Her annual return to the earth in spring was marked by the flowering of the meadows and the sudden growth of the new grain. Her return to the underworld in winter, conversely, saw the dying down of plants and the halting of growth.
