Personality

The perfect personification of apathy. He cares only to further his own goals and will do so as he sees fit. His experiences amongst cult members and on various battlefields has numbed him to the life on this planet that so many seem to cherish. He wishes only for power and to see the pain and suffering of the ignorant masses that pollute this world.

Equipment

He almost He always carries a pair of customized Glock 18c machine pistols. He also has two combat knives which he has hidden in a pair of sleeve mechanisms which pop the blades into his grip with the appropriate flick of the wrist. He is usually seen wearing a long black coat with leather gloves and combat boots. He is also usually wearing a pair of reflective sunglasses. He once maintained a small arsenal in his place of residence, but has yet to discover if it is still secure after having recently been resurrected.

History

Vladimir was born in Romania in the year 1966. His parents belonged to what many referred to as "The cult of the Dead" but for Vladimir it was simply his religion. His parents never did anything like ritual sacrifice as many of the rumors would have claimed, but they saw Death as the one link between all religions and the one truth of life, that in the end we all must pass. With this concept in mind his father, who was an ex-mercenary, raised Vlad to be physically fit, and trained him in combat so that if death were to come knocking he might be able to hold onto this mortal coil if for a bit longer. When his parents were seized when he was 13 year old and publicly executed so as to be made examples of he fled and found refuge with a group of political activists who had been friends with his father. The group known as Catalyst was actually responsible for putting weapons in the hands of those who would start rebellions against repressive government bodies.

Vladimir began to fashion himself as a hand of Death. He followed Catalyst and participated in the first incidents in various uprisings such as the Romanian Revolution in his home country and various incidents throughout Africa and the Middle East. In 2001 he decided to break off from Catalyst and taking some of the more skillful combatants under his wing started an assassin organization known as Requiem. Selling their services to the highest bidder and making the right connections so as to be ignored by policing agencies, Vlad found himself on top of an empire built by death. By the year 2011 he had secured a place for himself in the world and with his fortune had built himself a dummy company located out of Edge City. He himself hadn't been out in the field for over a year when Death sent another one of her messengers to Vlad in the form of a hired gun. He had grown too comfortable on his thrown and had allowed his own security to go lax enough for this man to sneak into his condominium. Awoken by a soft creak near his bed he snapped awake in time to see the muzzle of a silencer aimed between his eyes.

And with a flash, he was dead.

He woke up two days later in a morgue drawer.
