Jon "Big Bear" Vold's Story

Jon was chained by every limb in his cell he chooses to sit down instead of standing or laying down. He hasn't slept yet sleep only came to him when he felt it need to be done. Sleep was hard for him to come by in his cell he didn't trust anyone who wasn't a half-breed like him paranoia was the only inspiration he needed to stay awake. One of the workers came to his cage and opened the door releasing his feet and neck collar. Jon stood up as he was being pulled up and led to a small cramped chamber with hundreds of holes. Jon stepped in without resistance he counted down from ten in a whisper "Ten...nine...eight...seven...six...five...four...three...two...one...” After one the needles injected themselves muscle deep Jon breathed in deep with pain letting the air out slowly to relax him he felt the toxins fill his body giving him a sickly warm feeling. He enjoyed this more than the other experiments at least with the injections he knows he becomes stronger and more in tuned with his animal half. The needles pulled themselves out slowly so it wouldn't cause much damage the chamber was immediately gassed with freezing agent to prevent bleeding the door opened up and Jon stepped out and let himself be led back to his cell where he sat calmly warming up.

Jon felt the newly injected toxins working within him he felt his entire body heating up making his body feel strong and agitated. The heat seemed to agitate his mind. The toxins made him angry he started to breathe in and out in a more rapid pace and he felt his vision narrow from seeing around him to see directly at what’s in front of him the collar and chains on him seemed to aggravate him greatly. He started to pull against the chains on his arms despite the stinging pain of the electricity he ignored it and kept pulling on the chains until one of the arm chains snapped followed by the other. The shocks grew more painful using both hands he ripped off the collar. With his restraints gone he started to bang on the walls causing dents but not penetrating. The guards came with shock stick's set to a high voltage they started to shock Jon cornering him and paralyzing his muscles through the electric currents. When Jon finally couldn't move anymore one of the guards talked into his radio "Big Bear down send in the Doctor." A man in a lab coat came into Jon's cage and looked at the chart in his hand writing down the effects the shots had on him. The man in the lab coat said to Jon "This is very interesting results you’re the only one we tested on so far and judging by the reaction I don't think we should continue testing this until we can see you perform in the field with this." Jon’s restraints were attached back on and the humans left him to recover from his shocks.

Jon awaken in his cell with a headache in his thick Russian accent he swore "That was a bitch I wonder what is going to happen next." He sat back in his cell trying to cool down through the icy metal he looked around his cage and saw the damage he had done he smiled "It look's like a nice job compared to the amount of time they gave me." He gave a sigh he still felt a little stir crazy he really didn't like being kept inside a cage for very long because he liked being active. A guard tapped on the front of his cage "You ready?" Jon nodded he didn't ask questions only moved place to place waiting for his chance to run. Jon was led next to another half breed. He stood next to what smelled like a shark Jon looked out the window to see to females fighting Is this what they want? Jon shifted uncomfortable in his restraints.

Jon saw this from where he was standing through the window he smiled It seems like I should help. he pulled against his arm restraints from before they stretched but didn't snap he yelled out in Russian "God damn these restraints!" he saw some guards running down to try and to handle the other half breeds. In his restraints he ran right into the group of guard knocking them all over and running out to meet the Tiger, Dog, and Shark nodding to them without saying a word. He looked uncomfortable with his hands bound with large cuffs, and his collar on. Taking a deep breath he started to pull at his arm restraints again.

Jon started to pull apart his restraints again seeing that two half breeds had over a dozen guns pointed at them. In a few seconds he heard his cuffs starting to crack and with a strong pull his arm restraints were gone. Jon pulled his collar off throwing it to the ground. Jon charged for the group of guards enlarging himself to be the size of a bear and growing out his massive bear like claws knocking down four of the guard's. He suprised the rest and taking the moment he swiped at one man his swing so powerful it tore a whole into a guard. Then he picked up the guard and swung him in an half circle to knock down the guards that remained standing. Jon looked to the Tigress and Kara "If you want to leave follow me. I am leaving this place."

Panthera

her ears twitched at the sound of foot stepps as they walked across the cat walk, then the ground she kneeled on jerked and the platform rose to be leveled with the cat walk, Panthera faced two scientist and anout six large burly guards. "so what are we doing today hmm a battle, an experiment whats it gonna be oh i know your going to send me to assinate someone right" her voice feining joy. Pantheras face then lost its excitement and returned to a animal like stare, her tail trying very hard to swish back and forth with inpatience. "no your going to watch a battle today and depending on the winner we'll see if it would be a good match to set you against the winner that or we can start experimenting on you which is it?" Pantheras ears twitched forwards her eyes glancing between them. "sure why not i havent fought anyone in a long while now could you please get rid of these damn chains" pouting a little.

"right" one of the guards said sarcasticly. though they did unchain her to her platform all six gaurds surrounded her attaching magnetic pole around her electric collor. they chained her arms bent at they elbow her wrists chained to her collar, her legs shackled to provide as little movement as possible only enough gor her to shuffle forwards. they even chained her tail so it wouldnt distract the guards like last time. thinking back on that Panthera smiled, showing off her large canines that could rip out a mans throat with one bite. at the sight of them the two scienetists paled a little and yelled at the guards to keep her under control as they walked along the catwalk slowly going up to the surface.


when they reached the surface Pantheras senses tingled as they were overcome with the fainst sense of fresh spilled blood and the sounds of fighting. of course the humans couldnt hear this as they neared the trio of halfbreeds lead by a bear of a man(no pun intended) and two girls. they had blindfolded her so she couldnt see them as they ran past but for a moment time seemed to slow down, the guards realized the trio of halfbreeds and seemed to be startled their grips loosened on Pantheras restarints.

Panthera then had a small almost unnoticable smile on her lips and she stopped aburtly turning to the trio of halfbreeds. being blindfolded meant nothing with her sense of smell and she could smell Dog, Bear and her cousin feline the Tiger. "well, well, well if it aint my dear cousin Tigress" she smirked and before the guards knew it Panthera lashed out with her teeth biting the man in front of her who let go of her restraint, which was all she needed to attack them. soon within a matter of minutes all six guards laid out on the floor moaning in their pool of blood. the two scientists stared at Panthera whose blindfold now soaked in crimson turned on them and soon both were dead as well. Panthera then turned back to the trio, "so would any of you care to get me out of these or no?" she was well aware that her cery presence unnereved even the most hard of halfbreeds. one of the few halfbreeds that had to be put on constant lockdown until needed Panthera was a force to be rekoned with.

Kara watched, surprised at both Tigress and Richard. Tigress was so willing to risk her own life, simply to show the men who owned her that they didn't, well for lack of better phrasing, own her. And Richard was so easy to push away two other people who were going through exactly what he was. When the guards came through, guns pointed at the two, Kara was more than surprised to see a man who she didn't know appear out of no where. But what was crazier, was seeing him knock out one guard, then swing him around to hit the others.

The man looked at them, speaking about leaving. She instantly bit her lip, slightly confused. Could they even do that? Was it possible? She looked at Tigress quickly, then to the other man Richard, but before she was able to speak, another half breed appeared, and quickly tore appart the guards around her. As she waited impatiently for help, Kara went over and released her shackles, stepping away and looking at the group.

These were all strangers, and though they were each alike, she didn't trust any of them. At all. She backed up a pace or too, confusion striken on her face like when a dog is faced with too large of a group, or people it doesn't know. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't process. She backed up a bit more, her energy level getting higher and tried to stand still and see how the other three would react to the man.

Tae-Hyun paced back and forth in his cell. He knew something big was going down in the arena. He could hear the fighting and smell the blood. His guard stood in front of his cell, unflinching and unfazed. The idiot probably didn't even know yet. At that moment, the alarm was raised and the corridor begin flashing with bright red lights. The guard quickly took off, probably trying to assist his fellow guards. Tae-Hyun siezed this opportune moment. With all eyes focused on the arena, this gave him the perfect chance to escape. With surprising strength, he took hold of his leash and tore it in half.

His cell was foolishly made with bars. You would think that they would have foreseen his easy escape. He went through the bars from the side. The were a little to close together, making it slightly more difficult, but no less doable. He slipped through the bars, landing lightly on the other side. As he crossed the threshold into another corridor, a guard jumped out at him startling him and making his tail frizz up. With a quick motion, Tae-Hyun jumped onto the guard's back and swiftly snapped his neck.

He really needed to escape while the time was right, but his curiousty at what was happening at the arena overpowered his common sense. He turned left at the next waypoint and arrived at the arena. All the other half-breeds that he knew of was there, including Panthera who he had never personally liked. She was too bloodthirsty in his opinion. He didn't see much use for words at present and gave a simple short wave to those around him.

Panthera

she smiled at Tigresses response "still sour as ever i see" her chains were soon slashed to pieces. Panthera stretched her whole spine popped taking off the blindfold her stunning green eyes looked them over. her lip curled slughtly at the sight of the dog halfbreed "lead us away my dear cousin if you know how to take us out" her voice dripped with sarcasm. Panthera looked at the newcomer Ty her head nodded slightly to acknowledge his present "so do you have an idea of who else we shall take with us im sure we will meet more guards and as much as id hate to say this but we wont be enough to hold them back if they all atack us at once" her tail swished behind with impatience.

Richard followed as Tigress and the rest left the place. He knew that if they all left, and he was the only present when more guards came, they would find an excuse to blame him. He didn't want to be here when the rest found the mess they left behind, well ok, he did want to see their reactions to the carnage, but he still followed them. On the way, they found another breed, this one didn't talk much, but he seemed to want to leave with them.

They kept going, until Tigress made them stop to rescue someone Panthera. As far as he could tell, they didn't like each other, but for some reason Tigress still saved her. "Why hello cuz. Its not a pleasure to see you. However, I am ever so slightly humane. So I'm not going to leave you here to be tortured to death." Said her when she freed her. Richard almost laughed. Humane? She didn't look so humane when she was slaughtering the guards. "So" interrupted Richard. "Are we going to leave? Or do you want to rescue more people? Because time is wasting, and the bigger the group, the easier we will be spotted once we leave." He wanted t leave the place, without taking the entire place with them.

Jon remained silent for the most part he didn't mind being led he knew more trouble was up ahead so with much effort he grew his head into a bear shape and his canines became longer and sharper. He followed with haste and when Tigress was talking to another cat he went around looking for a distraction when he found a large blue button and he pressed it then the cages to every half-breed opened causing a large commotion. He smiled at this he turned to his group "This way its harder for them to catch us." he then grew somber. We will escape while others will die or be recaptured. He waited for the rest off the group to get ready to move again.

Kara nodded to Tigress as she began to pull her, watching the elegance the cat-breed moved with. She litterally moves like-, Kara's thoughts were cut off by a stomach buckling siren, loud enough, though not high enough to physically cause her pain. She recognized each hall they passed, having one of the requirements for her cooperation being that she could explore whatever parts she wanted. During the time it took them to get down the hall, they had acquired two new companions, a Panther-breed and the Cat-breed.

And they think I smell, she thought, waving to both the new comers, then glancing between the group. They were quite the motley crew, a bunch of scientific impossibilities, all joining up to leave the institute. Though, Kara knew there were more of them, that there were more they didn't have with them. You can't save all the freaks, she thought to herself, taking a breath, then flinching at the footsteps she heard coming from down the hall.

"Hate to interrupt the welcoming party, but theres guards coming from that way," she said, pointing infront of them. "And I happen to know theres an exit two halls' deep into this way," she finished, pointing to their right.

Panthera

she watched Tigress take out the guards with ease and so very much wanted to join but by then they were all either dead or knocked out. Panthera crouched besides the rather mutilated remains of one of the guards picking at the body as if she were expecting it to come back to life. "you couldn't have saved at least one for me Tigress and in such an ugly manner to" making a disappointed face.

she watched as almost immediately the other half-breeds were let out thanks to the bear-man, and of course most of the half-breeds ran rampant, one of them even made the mistake of attacking her but he soon learned his lesson clutching his throat while he drowned in his own blood.

"well if your going to have our tail then I shall help as well haven't had much fun where they kept me" she said quietly more to herself than anyone else. they continued on their way lead by Kara the dog half-breed 'ugh disgusting to be lead by such a foul creature' she thought to herself and knew that once they got out of her it would take all of them to keep her from killing the mutt. Panthera's tail swished behind her impatiently her ears pricked forwards at the faint sound of footsteps "ugh they never learn do they cousin, well it looks like were going to have to take these guards out as well" she counted about 16 different footsteps and smiled "seems to be about sixteen guards lets say we split it no?" looking over her shoulder at Tigress.

Kara just watched Tigress attack the guards, not expecting her to want anyone's help. After they were surrounded by the bloody, dead bodies, the other girl, the panther one, complained that she didn't get to help. It's gross, she thought, though not saying anything. It seems they've all forgotten that we are part human still.

She nodded at Tigress's directions, starting to get slightly annoyed from being commanded. She started trotting down the hallway, remember the direction to go. And a right here, she thought, turning. She was halfway down the hallway when she saw a room labeled Lab. Kara kicked the door in in a split second decision, entering the room and already knowing where the file cabinet with her name on it was. She grabbed a box, about the size of a shoe box, off the top, running out of the room, and continuing down the hall.

Taking another right, Kara's walking slowed, the exit coming into her vision. She took a deep breath, pointing to it. "There it is," she said, letting the others go out ahead of her.

Richard watched as Tigress massacred the guards. They must have been running out of guards at this point, but no, they kept coming and were as easily dispatched. He was hungry, he hadn't eating in a day, so he grabbed one of the dead guards and munched a chunk off, enough to last him until he finds another prey. They continued until they found the exit, not before Kara went into the lab and grabbed a box which most likely contained documents about her and other useless crap.

When they went out of the door, the first thing he saw, was water. Lots and lots of water, and on the distance, he could see land with tall buildings. He looked around, and he still saw water. They were on an island. They never saw where they were located, since every time they were sent out, they were put a bag on they head and then went to what he presumed was a heli-pad. He finished eating the guard, and almost wiped the blood from his mouth, but caught himself. He looked at the others and said, "Well, I hope you guys like to swim, because we have a long way ahead of us." There were no boats that he could see, they must keep those inside, he thought.

Jon nodded "I will look meet me over there." he pointed towards a beach area were it would be easy to defend as well as be picked up. Jon didn't wait to hear a response he went straight back into building he just escaped from he shrunk back to his normal form so he could dodge and darts that came his way. He stopped at a crossing way when he saw a small map used for new guards. With a smile he saw the garage area that is also used as a dock for the people who worked here. He started to run down the hallway ahead of him he saw a barricade of guards who fired as soon as they saw him. Jon jumped at an angle to dodge the darts but so he could roll closer. When he got close he grabbed a guard and spun him around to take all the darts fired at him again the grabbing the guards gun he fired quickly at the others each one falling to the floor. Jon dropped the now asleep guard and gathered the dart ammo and kept moving. On his way he passed a lab room which caught his attention because the room was the lab where he got injected with the serum that made him go berserk he entered the room to find no one was inside looking around he found a case that caught his attention because it had his name on it. Opening it he found that the whole case was filled with the serum Jon smiled "Thank you." he closed the case and took it with him. He looked around some more and then he found something that would help. Explosives or something that can explode in front of him was a highly combustible tank or so the symbol shown. Jon used he all natural gift of destruction to set up a rough trigger explosion which could offer a good escape for him and the others. Then without further stall he left the Lab and kept going down the hall where he encountered one or two more guards after a little while he made finally to the indoors dock. Looking at the boats he found a boat that could fit everyone Jon smiled to see no one around picking up a large metal rod he drove the metal pole into each boat but the one he was going to use and then he watched as all the other boats sunk slowly down the water. Jon got onto the boat and found the keys still inside the ignition "This is to good." he drove the boat out of the building and driving towards the beach where he would meet his fellow half-breeds. It didn't take long for him to reach the spot where he said he would be he looked to the main building worried "The lab is going to explode soon." he looked at the case in his hand with a smiled with these it will be hard for them to capture me.

Panthera

she looked out across the water spotting Jon come around in a boat and she grinned "well isnt that convinient i wouldnt mind swimming but ill take a boat any day" snikering Panthera glanced at Tigress and the others before stepping on the boat with Jon. the boat dipped in a little with the added weight and she turned to look back at the others "you coming or what from what he said the labs about to explode or do you want to be captured and brought back in when it does" motioning towards the building her tail swished behind her with impatience.

Ty was only to happy to follow the other half-breeds to his escape. He was impressed by the display of agility that his feline cousins displayed, especially Tigress, but felt no need to join in the battle. He followed the dog obediently, which he found very ironic and amusing. After taking a right turn, the ended up in a lab of sorts where Kara grabbed a box with her name on it. Seeing a box with his name on it not far from hers, he grabbed it, curious as to it's contents. He had no time to investigate however, as other guards could be heard advancing on them. They exited a set of double-doors only to find themselves trapped once again, this time by a vast amount of water.

The shark half-breed made a comment about swimming and Ty flinched. "No,no,no. I don't even think so. Don't you know how most cats feel about getting wet?!" He was becoming a little hysterical, making something of a scene, when the bear half-breed volunteered to find proper transportation. Ty calmed down at that point and went with the others to the side they were all told to meet on.

The bear half-breed, Jon, pulled up in a speedboat not long after leaving them. "Oh, bless you, you big brute!" Ty said thankfully and jokingly to the man and climbed aboard quickly with his box in tow. Jon had mentioned something about explosives and Ty shuddered. He didn't like to think about what would happen to the other half-breeds if they didn't get out soon. Having a moment of compassion, he spoke up. " Are you sure we should just leave the others here? They're as much a victim as we are."

Kara giggled light at Ty's comment about Jon, the Big Brute, unable to stop herself, then hopping on the boat, about to sit down, then looking at the steering wheel. "You know how to drive, right? It's different than a car." She said, knowing that if it was his first time, it would be difficult. She knew how to drive, having learned a few years back, although she wasn't keen on speaking up as she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself.

Looking at Ty, when he made a comment about the others, she sighed. She felt the same way, but if they were stupid enough to not escape when they had a chance, wasn't that their fault. Not like the blood thirsty cousins give a crap, she thought, sighing, and sitting on the ground criss cross, placing the box in her lap, waiting to take off.

Opening it sheepishly, Kara was pleased to find the box nearly full of capped, full needles, and the bottom with a few files. She wasn't sure that this would be here, though she had a thought, and taking out one needle, she pulled the cap off with her teeth, taking a quick breath, then inserting it into her arm, pushing in the liquid, then recapping the needle, and putting it away, slightly hoping no one had seen her.

Panthera

she looked up just in time to move away from an incoming dart and watched as Tigress began to attack the oncoming guards. Panthera sighed shaking her head and quickly got out of the boat, she glanced over her shoulder at Jon and the others "do as the tiger says we'll handle this" hissing under her breath as she evaded another dart in ways that would be unnatural of a human, but that was one of the benefits of being fused with the DNA of a panther.

Panthera than ran up to a guard killing him in a matter of moments and took out another one that was about to come up from behind Tigress. "your getting sloppy cousin and it looks like I still need a bit more practice" she said with an arrogant smirk. more guards came at them but the two simply took them out with little to no difficulty. "dammit these dsarts are so annoying why do they keep firing them at us when they know we'll just dodge them" she snarled bashing the heads of two guards together.
