Samantha Lenrod's Story

"Thanks mom!" i yelled back to her as i walked out the door.
"Any time sweetheart," he walked out with me and kissed my head.
"Mom grossss!" i grumbled swatting her away.
She laughed, "Bye sweety," i saw a tear fall on her cheek.
"Mom. Dont cry, I'll be fine," i smiled and hugged her. "I'll call you at the first pokemon center i see! Bye!" i ran out the door and down the road towards Professor Cedar's lab. It wasnt far from my house. I stopped at the door, and pressed the doorbell.
Ding Dong! Ding Dong!
I waited and i heard footsteps as a large, intellegent man answered the door.
"Ahhhh! Samantha! I've been waiting for you!" he said in a deep, kind voice.
"Hi professor, I'm ready for my first pokemon!" i beamed excidedly.
"Come this way," he walked down the hallway and followed him. "These are the pokemon, you can choose from!" he threw the pokeballs, and all the starters can out except Cyndaquil.
"There's on missing?" i asked looking up at him.
"Another young trainer took the cyndaquil, you can choose a pokemon," he said.
I looked at all of them, and saw the cute, cocky little one at the end.
"Ohhhh! An Oshawatt! I would like that one," i pointed at him.
"Excellent choice," he put the rest back in the pokeballs and gave my the Oshawatt's. "I am gonna go put the others away, you can talk with this one," he said walking away.
I walked over and knelt down next to the little pokemon. "Hello, I'm Sam. I think I am gonna name you Blade," I smiled and pet his head.

the power in the lab went out causing a couple of the lab assistants to yell because at that moment the cracking had turned to a chewing noise and two Pichu's ran out of the lab laughing to each other they jumped onto Sam and jumped off then ran a little bit but were still in view when they stopped they touched tails and made sparks the sparks flying around they stopped and looked around confused having just hatched.

Scarfy ran as fast as his little legs could carry his body when he suddenly felt a shoe hit him over the side of the face and a girl tripped ger him, barley missing the small pink whismur. He looked over at her and used screech again and started to run but fell over from the pain of the girl's foot hitting him. He winced and let out a loud wail as he tried to pick himself up.

He stood up and tried to limp away before turning back and looking at the girl. She looked much younger than the breeder he had once known and he had seen girls like this before at the ranch, always picking out the babies but never him for his dragon friend. She carried a blue Pokemon in her arms which was strange since most of the tame ones resided in the Pokeballs they were caught in. Scarfy was intrigued and a bit scared but he temtped fate and walked over to the girl to observe her.

The pichu on her back were strange and made Scarfy back away slightly not wanting to fight. He didn't like electrify types since most were stuck up, or at least the ones he knew were. They made fun of his scarf and would try to steal it but his scream always helped.

Scarfy walked near the head of the girl nervously and poked her cheek. He glanced at the Oshowatt and asked if she was alright, concerned of her well being and safety. She didn't look too bad but he guessed she might as well be concussed and he wouldn't know any better. He wasn't a healer and had no intentions.

Using the pinpoint hearing he heard the small growl of the Pichu's belly and he realized they were babies. He rushed over to a small plant and used pound causing two plump leppa berries to fall. He gathered them up, using his scarf as a net then rushed back to the twins. He placed a berry infront of each. "W-whist" he said nerd nervously telling them to eat.

Scarfy was happy to see the twins eating but alsmost screamed when the to hugged him. He then realized something, they wrnt going to hurt him in the slightest. They were babies not killers or jerks. Then the girl started to pet him. He liked both groups of people but his small mind couldn't take the isolation then several people around him at once. His lip quivered and his body shamed before he screamed and used hyper voice.

He saw them being blasted back and cried before he shouted again. "WHISMUR" saying he was sorry and rushed to a building and hid in a gutter hoping to stay safe as he clutched the scarf tighter trying not to get it dirty.

I looked up at Professor Cedar. "Oh hi professor. Are these two yours?" i nodded towards them.
"Yes Samantha, those two pichus just recently hatched and escaped the lab," he replied, "They seem to be taking a liking to you," he chuckled.
"Ya. I think i did something right finally. Can you help Blade?" I asked nerviously. I held him out to him, and he picked him up.
"He isnt too badly wounded. He just needs a potion," he pulled out of his pocket sprayed Blade. He blinked his eyes open.
"Osha osha!" he said happy, now that he was feeling better. I laughed happily, "Thanks Professor!"i beamed and put the two Pichus down and picked up Blade.
He looked away and folded his arms again.
"Ohhh... are we ever going to be friends?" i asked. He shrugged. I sighed.

I looked up at him, "My names Samantha, but you can call me Sam," i glanced down at the whismur. "Oh, say your names Scarfy? Dont worry, i can understand completely." I looked back up at Asher, "I can understand and speak to pokemon," them smiled.

"Aww... its ok now. I'll make sure Blade wont hurt you again," i tunred and glared at him for a second. I turned to see an eevee. "Oh where are all the pokemon coming from?" i asked no one in particular.
