Connor sped through the dark desert at about five in the morning. He had gotten the message at around eight yesterday and decided he would make it there by noon today. He had Karla in the side car although she was still asleep with the levicycle. He had moved her into the side car during her sleep and he was certain she would flip out a bit when she woke up and not in her bed.

He didn't really care though. He knew if the HQ called them in it would probably be about their parents. He and Karla both had the advantage of being able to see the shadow aura that came in every shadow Pokemon. They would both be valuable assets to any team but he truley just wanted revenge on Cipher not anything to do with the damned HQ. He heard a chrip and realized Flicker was on his shoulder




Jovi woke up from a night of sleeping at her desk. She heard a clock go off and she sprung up trying to get ready. The coolants for the new machines were done and they had to be fixed into them quickly. She wanted the two children of the first heroes to get to HQ.

She would always think back to her brother and how he would rush in aimlessly but always end up getting the objective done. He was a hero, she wanted to be like him but she knew that dream was since passed. She sighed and continued working hoping she could at least make the third wave of heroes to save Orre.

Starr laid asleep in her sleeping bag by a campfire she had made in the forest, and Thunder laid next to her. Starr tossed and turned a bit, and after a while she woke up. Thunder opened one eye hearing Starr move around, and yawned. "...You're up too huh Thunder?" Starr said as she rolled over to face Thunder. Thunder nodded and looked up at Starr. Starr smiled a little and looked over at the fire that was almost out. "Guess I should probably put more firewood on.." Starr said. She got up and stretched, and made her way over to the pile of firewood she had made yesterday night, and re-stacked the fire, and went back over and sat on her sleeping bag, and watched the warm glow of the fire, still half asleep.

Karla was sleeping in Conner's levicycle, and she was dreaming about her parents. It was a happy dream, when she and her brother where younger, and she first got Noodle.

Just then, Bubbles came out of her pokeball and started poking Karla in her face, trying to wake her up. "Not now, Bubbles." She said, and she then realized she wasn't in her bed anymore. She opened her eyes, and realized she was in her brothers levicycle. "Conner! where are we going!?" She said, as she held Bubbles very close to her, afraid that she would fall out the bike if she wasn't careful. Her pokemon only put her arms around Karla and snuggling to her mama.

Connor heard a shriek and smirked realizing his sister was awake. "Connor! where are we going!?" "Well good morning to you too." he said then chuckled lightly then Flicker shrunk down shyly and Connor put her in her ball. "I got a call from the HQ. We should be there in about ten minutes until then just calm down. He said as Pirate flew out realizing Flicker's spot was open. He looked over at Karla and shouted. "Give me all your gold" he said menicingly then laughed and turned around.



Jovi had finished putting in the coolant and she sighed a breath of relief. "Good, now let's see where's Starr." she said going to the girl's room. "Starr you in here?" she asked no one then she opened her ball up to reveal Mimi. "Mimi can you get Starr for me?" the Pokemon nodded then ran off to the woods to find a sleeping Starr. Mimi charged up her wild charge then released a bit on Starr as she chimed. "Min Min" she said then motioned to the HQ.

Karla had calmed down, but was still holding Bubbles to her for dear life. That is when her brother's Chatot came over and yelled at her about giving him gold.

"I don't even want to know how he learned to say that." She said, as Bubbles blew her bubbles, she used to only do it when she was away from Karla, but now did it when she thought someone was going to hurt her. They were that damaging, but they were pretty. "Good Bubbles." She told her pokemon, who then went and hugged her again and she put her back in her pokeball. As if on cue, Eros came out and was sitting on Karla, "Well good morning to you too." She said as Eros tried to punch the sides of the side car, althoguh his punches were weaker than a leaf brushing up on it.

Starr looked up to see Mimi motioning over towards the HQ and yawned. "The HQ..? This early? Alright.." Starr stood up and Thunder joined her. She went over to the bucket of water, and poured it over the fire, and watched the fire go out, and start smoking. "Well, we better get going then." She said smiling at Thunder and Mimi, and started walking over to HQ, Thunder walking beside her.

Connor smirked as he saw the Kirlia try to fight. "That's a pity really. He has so much potential but it's wasted on psychic type moves. " he said then slowed down the bike as the HQ came into view. He stopped infront then jumped off in one motion. Pirate went up and turned it off then got the key as to turn it off. He sat on his trainer's shoulder as Connor released Scout who pounced up at Karla wanting to play. "Hurry up we gotta get up there" he said waiting for his sister.




Jovi heard Starr and Mimi and she sighed a relief. Pluplu came out of her ball and double checked all of her trainer's math. The Snag Machines were made from the technology of the first but also had the acsessability of the second. She sat down in a chair trying to catch her breath as she waited for the new heroes to come in.

Karla was looking at Eros, and when they stopped at HQ, she put him bakc into his pokeball. She really did want him to evolve so he could be a physical fighter. It was then that Scout came out of his pokeball and pounced on her.

"Hey Scout, you got big. Did you miss me?" She asked the pokemon while rubbing his belly. It was then that Noodle was released form her pokeball, and saw Scout and tackeld him, trying to play with her sibling. Karla thought it was cute.

"So, Conner." She said turning to her brother, "Why do you think they called us so early?" She asked as she let Bubbles out, she wanted to see that little guy badly, and she held on to Karla and then somehow made her way to her head, like a weird hat or something.

Starr and Thunder made their way over to HQ and opened the door and walked in to see Pluplu and Jovi. "You needed me?" Starr smiled as she watched Thunder walk over and greet Pluplu, and put her hands in her pockets and looked back over at Jovi.

Connor smiled as the two started playing with eachother. It reminded him of how he and his sister rubbed off on their Pokemon. "Sister everything that has ever matter happens in the morning." he said then Pirate flew over to girl and landed on her shoulder and he stuck his wing out. "Avast ye hardee" he said then laughed swaying on the girl. Connor then smirked and began walking to the building.



Jovi turned to see her niece and Mimi. "Ah yes Starr glad you're awake." she said as Pluplu help Mimi onto the desk. "Thank you Mimi" she said and Mimi just cheered. "Take a seat were still waiting on two more then I'll tell you why I called you over here."

"Oh.. Ok." Starr walked over to a chair, sat down, and waited wondering who the other two that Jovi had mentioned were. Thunder looked up at Mimi and Pluplu and walked over to Starr and the chair, and laid down on the floor, and rested his head on his paws still a bit tired. Starr watched Thunder walk over and lay down at her feet, and looked out a window thinking while waiting for whoever it was they had to wait for.
