Description

Camilla has never been called 'hot' her entire life, much to her chagrin. Words like 'cute' or 'picturesque' are often thrown around her, but not anything like 'hot chic'. Cami stands at five feet and seven inches, is slightly frail looking (but suprisingly strong), and is in need of a tan or some sun, but you know London, you can't exactly tan there can you? Her hair is a dirty blonde and her eyes seem to hold the same golden color. She wears clothes that are flowy and not very dark. Her style could be considered the opposite of punk, when in fact she mostly ends up listening to that sort of music.

History

One would assume that Camilla came from a home with loving parents who supported her and was the sort of person that lived a calm and well balanced life. That unfortunately is not the case. To begin with, Camilla did not have any parents to raise her. She was dropped off at an orphanage when her mother disappeared from the hospital soon after her birth. Her mother was someone without any medical records to speak of, and the father was certainly unknown.

But thankfully the orphanage she grew up in was not one from a horror story or Annie movie. The lady who managed the place and her helpers were all very kind people who cared for the well being of the kids genuinely. But as cute a kid as she was, she was never adopted as a baby. Her toddler years did not prove to be her lucky time either, and when she went to school she found out just how strange this occurrence was. In her mind she thought that every child went through the same thing, that kids just had to be patient and wait for their new mom and dad. It was a rude awakening for sure, and it kept her up at night crying for a while, but in time she began to think that if every kid had a mom or dad that gave birth to them, then she didn’t want to be adopted by people who did not give birth to her. And so she counted her lucky stars at simply having a place to live.

From then on she started to try and help the other kids around her, who did in fact want to be adopted. She was a charming child, chatting up the parents who came to visit about which kids would be good for their home, taking them on tours, and comforting the children who did not get adopted. But refusing to allow herself to be adopted, for some reason she felt it would be a lie, and did just about everything to avoid interviewing with parents to potentially find a home. At first the ladies that ran the place were exasperated with her for it, but her charming help and sincerity soon turned their mood for the better.

Camilla remained grateful to the orphanage even as she turned eighteen and had to leave, returning quite often to read to the little ones and help out where she could. She obtained a scholarship for an online college and is currently doing her classes, while living in a humble apartment on the not so nice part of town. She works as a waitress for a breakfast restaurant, being one of those annoying cheery morning people got her the job. For some strange reason the kids at the orphanage, of all ages, love to hear her read the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, she tells it with gusto apparently.
