Description

Image

Charles Bingley.

A man with all the appearance of charm and good nature, lucky enough to have both characteristics represented in his character, Charles Bingley is generally received as a handsome young fellow. His height is nothing to rival that of his treasured and dearest friend Darcy but he stands at a good height, about 177cm from the ground. His frame is far from frail, yet, it is slight, with very little in the way of muscle tone. His long and lean arms lead down to hands which show nothing at all of privation, but tend to prove, with beautifully slender fingers, the wealth he occupies. A man is nothing without a face and it is Bingley’s face, not his frame, that has accepted compliments. With a sharp jaw-line, the heart-shape to Charles’ face seems to mimic his kind heart and eyes of a warm green welcome smiles from those he meets. With light-brown hair which gingerly grows about his face , Charles’ appearance is, as ‘proper’ society would have it, pristine. So easily influenced by those around him, Bingley’s ‘style,’ if a man can have one at all, is most certainly not his own, but, indeed, a rather vast concoction of ‘personal opinions’ on behalf of his sister and his friends.

Personality:

Charles Bingley is one of those rare breeds of man whose nature is as genuinely good as that of a saint. His heart seems to be so much more open than anyone else and with such little provocation. He is not like so many of his kind, of the more affluent in society, who smile and nod with a pretentious air; his smiles are honest and true and his words spoken with good intent, though, at times, they seem to escape him. Though his virtues are many, of which a keen interest in dancing is included, Bingley has his faults, like any man. Try though he might to be assertive, Charles Bingley has to be one of the most impressionable creatures breathing. His own opinion and thoughts often come second to those of his acquaintance and being easily led has gotten Bingley into awkward situations in the past and proves to do so in the future.
