Mm-hm, I see. And how does that make you FEEL?
The reason that Dr. Goodstp is declared the best psychologist in the world is he ability to be soft and gentle, but still in control. However, mostly due to his fame, he is quite arrogant, which means he won't give up, but whatever way he thinks the patient should be treat will be the "obvious" choice. He also, like many psychologists, don't take the matters full-on in care, leaving the issues far from himself when not at work...his 'love' being distant from the Job and the Home.
However, with the new method of "unofficial therapy" he's trying, that may change as the patient's lives become part of his own...
Dr. Goodstep is never without his pad of yellow paper, his pen, and his silver watch. He will carry additional equipment in a black backpack.
Dr. Goodstep, as a child, was not unlike many of the patients he sees and cures. He was hurt, damaged as a young boy by people who he thought were his friends. They always told him he wasn't good enough, and stabbed him in the back, just ditching him altogether one day. His self-esteem was hurt by these bullies, so much so that he attempted suicide several times. After going to a psychologist himself, he discovered his love and passion for life.
But, even still, his past still haunts him...and these new patients may very well uncover a few skeletons in the closet.
