The vampires of folk history were totally repugnant creatures. They were depicted as crude, foul smelling, reanimated corpses, with a single parasitic-like motivation for blood. They are never actually observed in their vampire state, by the living, but their existence is confirmed by circumstantial evidence within the surrounding community.
The evidence for the existence of a vampirewas thought to include such things as the sudden deaths of citizenry and livestock, under unclear or questionable circumstances. Also indicative of vampirism, was the sudden onslought of mysterious disease symptoms, especially those causing pale skin coloration and slow physical wasting.
The only cure of course, for the wretched, eternally damned vampire and for the welfare of the entire community, was to find the grave of the suspected vampire/corpse, dig it up, cut-off it's head and drive a wooden stake through it's heart.
Fairview, the place where you would expect them to hide with it's dark atmoshpere and dreary rain. They blend in with the crowd, go to high school, do the things humans do. The only thing is, they lust for blood while it's hard to control it. Vampires. That's what they are. But, the Dimitri family is different from the rest of their kind, they try to control their thirst for human blood and feed on animals, though, you don't get the same quality. Here, they protect the humans, and revolt against the Council's ways, but how long will it last before someone finds out?

• Fairview, a small town located beneath the strip of Canada. Fairview has an oceanic climate in a temperate rainforest with very high rainfall. Although there is drying trend in summer, rain is still abundant, just not as wet as the rest of the year. Fairview averages 212 days per year with measurable precipitation.
• There are many sights to see in Fairview, including, La Feño Beach, Fairview Lake, and our Fairview Forest that surrounds the town.

• Fairview also has a highly educated private school where most teenagers go.

Vampire
All vampires possess refined and perfected physical features (including their voice and scent), allowing them to lure in prey. Their skin is flawless, has the texture and feel of marble due to being stronger than granite, and sparkles in direct sunlight because of the crystalline properties of their cells. Newborn vampires have bright red eyes; for vampires who choose to drink human blood, the most revitalizing kind of blood for a vampire, eye color fades to a deep crimson over the course of a year. If they feed on animal blood, like the Cullens, their eyes fade to a deep gold color. Regardless of meal preference, all vampires' eyes grow darker with thirst, eventually fading to black; vampires tire only from lack of blood. All vampires possess superhuman physical and mental attributes. Their superhuman strength gives them the ability to subdue their prey, uproot trees, throw cars, and crush metal. Newborn vampires are known to be exceptionally strong during their first year because of the excessive amount of human blood still in their systems. Vampires have very keen senses and are able to see and hear clearly for miles in total darkness and move with such speed that they become a blur to human eyes. They are immortal and difficult to destroy, only permanently killed when dismembered and then burned, as their body parts continue to move even after being detached. Vampires also do not have to sleep; they do not feel physical fatigue, and mental fatigue passes very quickly. After transformation, a vampire's certain ability becomes enhanced, sometimes resulting in a specialized, supernatural skill. While not definite, the theory behind these special abilities is that the power is reminiscent of the individual's original personality. Some vampires have no special abilities, and instead have a prominent personality or physical trait from their human life magnified.
Vampire? Welcome to the Dimitri family. There are seven of you, living together from different time periods. Saru Dimitri has lived for 242 years, after all, they're immortal. He has saved many lives with his token of death. Token of death? The bite of a vampire the places you into eternal pain. Now, this sounds horrific, but he truly has taken in it to his family as a way of love to join. It's not like they're brothers and sisters, they're just in Saru's care, trying to blend in and go to Fairview Academy. They won't ever have to seperate. Some are grateful to this, some would rather die. The thing is, they can't digest human blood, Saru has taught them to control they're hunger, but they can still lose control sometimes. This is why we they live in Fairview. So where are you from, the 1800's? The 1930's?

Werewolves
The Denu tribe legends holds that chiefs could leave their bodies and wander as spirits, communicate with nature, command nature (weather, trees, insects, animals) and hear each other's thoughts, however, besides the latter many of these techniques appear to have been forgotten. Members of this tribe can still phase in and out of their shape-shifting forms, transforming independently of the lunar cycles. Members are able to regenerate, talk to one another telepathically, and possess superhuman strength, speed and endurance with the ability to cover 1.67 miles in just 1 minute, outrunning vampires. Werewolves skins are durable and their regenerative abilities allow them to heal within seconds. They are also immune to vampirism, though the venom does act as a mild irritant and retards their healing abilities to some degree. As long as they phase, they do not age.
Werewolves claws and teeth can tear through the "marble hard skin" of a vampire at ease. Each werewolf has a different look and different specific quality, whether size, speed, agility, stamina, durability or strength. All shapeshifters senses are very sharp. Werewolf? You live in the Denu pack, off of La Feño Beach. Here, you stick together, but are brutally against vampires.

The Council
The vampire coven known as the Council live in Volterra, Tuscany (Italy). They are regarded as "royalty" by other vampires because they have lived for well over 3000 years and act as police, enforcing the rule that vampires' existence remain a secret from humans. They often send emissaries or enforcers from Volterra to prevent overzealous covens and renegade vampires from exposing their kind. They are guarded by several powerful vampires who have been recruited for their powers and skills. The Council is utterly against the Dimitri family, and will maybe soon face them...
