Eric towers over most at a height of no less than six foot eight, and despite years of hard training, he remains rather lanky in appearance. Once he takes off his shirt though, the results are quite visible. He has been described as being rather attractive by several magazines; he regularly makes it on lists of the city's most eligible singletons. His eyes are a rich shade of brown, appearing almost reddish in color at times. His hair is also a rich shade of brown, and is on the longer side. He rarely cracks a smile, he rarely shows any emotion other than open contempt for those ranking below him.

↓ biography.
Eric, despite being a hero, has not led a spectacularly dramatic life. An Optima native, he was born into a upper-middle class family and had a normal, happy childhood. He is an only child, and at times appears a little sullen or withdrawn, but nothing unusual or overly noteworthy. He took an interest in sports at the age of eight, and despite his parent's disapproval, took various martial arts classes, as well as boxing and archery. With a lot of hard work and a sprinkle of talent, Eric rose to become a minor neighborhood celebrity for his sporting skills.

His first step on the rode to hero-dom occured at the age of thirteen, when he, single handed, defended a local store from a pair of armed robbers. Six months later, he helped save a woman from a rampaging villian again with his combat skills. At the age of fourteen, despite not manifesting any powers, he was offered a place as a junior hero, which he promptly accepted.

It wasn't until he was sixteen that his powers manifested, causing serious confusion and mayhem during a particularly nasty confrontation between heroes and villains. Powers stopped working, for friend and foe alike. After a day or two of much fuss and chaos within League HQ, it was figured out. Unfortunately, Eric's power was stuck 'on' constantly. He struggled on switch off or even reduce the range of his ability. He fell from his superior's graces, until he was given a job working at a prison for super humans, and he was virtually left on his own to control his ability. It took him three years to gain any semblance of control over his 'gift'. On his return to the League, he discovered that he had been replaced, by a fragile little porcelain doll, claiming extensive knife wielding skills.
