Underland

"There are a lot of things I don't remember from my childhood. My first day of school, my first favorite book, or even my first doll. I can't remember any of those things. But, I do remember him. The man who always wore a top hat. The man who saved me from the Queen and the rest of the weird place I managed to fall into. Sadly, I can't remember his name or much else about him. Just his brown eyes staring at me with a look I never did understand and then his top hat.
But its been 9 years since that all happened and now I am 21. I'm old enough to smoke and drink and be on my own. Yet something has kept me here with my family. Trust me, its not because I like them, because i don't! A few people said its because I'm scared of moving out but, who knows.
I have a boyfriend. His name is Travis. He is nice....sometimes. But before I tell you about him, I should tell you who I am.
My name is Alice Stariex. Like I said, I'm 21 and still live at home. I have a job though and many hobbies. I work as a waitress most the time but other times I cook. I don't like cooking. I'm not that good at it. When I'm not working and not being yelled at by Travis or my Mom, then I get to go to ballet practice. Its really nice. The teacher is super nice and she really helps me out when I need it.
Anyways, I guess its time to end this entry. So maybe I will write again tomorrow. This site seems really cool."

Alice smiled as she hit the send button and the message was sent as a blog on Ijournal.com. She never really liked writing about herself but for some odd reason, she thought it would be a good idea. Its not like a lot went on in her life, but something in her told her to start writing, so she did.
It was late, around 1 in the morning but she wasn't really tired. Her day had been full of boredom but somehow she wasn't tired. Insomnia? It was possible. Moving her laptop off her lap and onto the best beside her bed, Alice jumped to her feet just in time to hear her house phone ring. She ran across the room to get it. "Hello?" she asked then heard the screaming of her father. He also picked up the phone, just as she did.
"Alice?" A young man asked who would be recognized as Travis.
She sighed then hit the palm of her hand against her head. "Yeah?" she asked, still listening to her father scream.
"I just wanted to say I-" his words were cut off by the phone being snatched from her hands.
"I don't know what the Hell that boy was thinking but thats it!" her father screamed then grabbed her black hair and pushed her. Her head his her mirror in against her wall. Slowly blood seeped out and down her head to her neck. She started to cry but things blacked out. 'Hatter'

Alice opened her eyes and screamed. The first thing she saw was the stars, shining as bright as ever. Her heart slowed down to a more natural pace as she laid there. Her hand slowly moved to the side of her head. She was still bleeding a little but not as much. Only then did it occur to her that she wasn't in her room like she was supposed to be. Slowly, she got to her feet and looked around. She was in some sort of forest. 'Did he try to kill me?' she wondered then turned all around. The only thing in site was trees and darkness. It was still night at least.

"Alice you're back!" exclamied the hatter. He was wallking on a taint table set for a tea party. "Care for a spot of tea?" he asked her pouring two half cups. (cut in half) "Everything's changed." he said darkly. "Yyou are here to celebrate you're unbirthday no doubt." he said.

Alice sat up and gasped. Her green eyes went wide and her hand flew over her gaping mouth. "Your him!" She said then took off running. She stood at the end of the table looking up at the man. "Your him! The man I remember from when I was younger!" she said again then shook her head a little, trying to determine if she was dead or just dreaming. Suddenly something clicked in her head. "What do you mean everythings changed?" she asked, since this place was pretty wacky before.

"The Red Queen has taken over your kingdom, Princess." he bodly said softly. "Now for our tea!" he handed her a half- teacup and he took the other half. When he lifted it up all the tea spilt out the side.

Alice watched the Mad Hatter then caught what he said. "My kingdom? What do you mean my kingdom?" She asked then set her half-glass of tea on the table. "Hatter, I don't remember hardly anything from before." She stated, wondering if it meant anything or not. It was hard remaining calm when someone you almost remembered told you someone took over your kingdom you didn't even know you had!

"I can't take this anymore!"A voice was heard screaming in a rather tall tree in the middle of the white queen's garden. "There has been absolutely nothing to do lately. It's been so dreadfully boring ever since Alice left...maybe I could bother her majesty, oh but I did that two days ago. Hmm or perhaps I might chase the white rabbit and see if I can make stew" She said with a small grin. "I've got it I'll visit the Mad Hatter. He's sure to provide some form of entertainment." She declared as she hopped off the branch she was sitting on and started on her way to the Caterpillar's garden.

As Nekomi was walking she pondered weather they would discuss why a Raven was indeed like a writing desk or if the mad hatter would be working on a new hat. "Oh well either way I'm going and that's that" She mumbled as she arrived at the gate to the hatter's tea garden. As she was opening the gate she heard a female voice and she was quite sure that the hatter was most definitely a male. When she got closer she saw that there were actually two people at the table. As Nekomi got even closer she noticed that the female in question looked extremely familiar.After a while it finally came to her. "Alice?" She whispered.

"Mr. Rabbit"! Called a harsh womens voice from the end of the red hall. "Yes your majesty?' The white rabbit replied weakly praying that he was not up for the chop. "Do i look pretty in this dress?" she replied hopefully. "Of course my queen" he replied groveling. " You may leave now Mr. Rabbit, but be back for tea, or i will have your head". "Of course" the white rabbit replied and bounced out of the hall. 'Stupid Big headed queen, so full of hot air' he muttered to himself As he wandered out of the palace. He missed the old days, well not the days of the queen of hearts, the days when alice was here. He sighed as he left the castle of the red queen, he could always escape but they would find him, besides he had a position to uphold and if he remained with the queen, that day alice returns, he would be able to help her from the inside. Oh but there was no hope alice would not return.

Alice waited for an answer from her beloved Hatter but suddenly heard someone entering the tea garden. She turned around then squinted her eyes to possibly see better. It didn't really help all that much. She still had no idea who- "Nekomi." The name was out of her mouth before she even knew that was the person's name.
Was her memories of before returning to her? It was obvious she knew the person, and the person knew her; but she didn't know the person. After all, it had been 9 years and Alice was told that none of it was real. In her mind, she was still battling the idea that it was a dream still. She had just fallen into it again. A day dream? Or possibly she was in a coma. Yes, that would explain how long it was going to last. For these things take a long time. A really LONG time.
She focused on the neko girl again and smiled lightly. "Ello." she greeted then waved a little, though she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. Her eyes wondered back to the Hatter, who she hoped would help her. After all, he always did before.

"cat! This is Alice! Alice meet Cat." he said madly. then whispering "Careful, he's mad."

Hopping along the road he passed the old house and forest. And came upon the tea party of the mad hatter. ' Oh Joy he thought to himself, now i have to deal with his nonsense too' he quickly ran through the path and stopped dead in his tracks. Before him stood the hatter, looking quite ridiculous, the chesire cat and, a teenage girl. He twisted his monocle in a surprised fashion and blinked stupidly. "How now, who's this"?

"Ah rabbit!" cried the hatter seizing his paw. "This," he paused for affect"is Alice."

The rabbit dropped his monocle. "Alice?, Here in Underland!?!?" he shouted. and stared stupidly at the girl. He changed suddenly sweating and his shocked expression turned into a expression of fear. "Oh no this will not do!, She find out and have my head and her head and everyones head!" He sat down with a thump and put his head in his hands. "Welcome back, Alice."

Nekomi grinned from ear to ear. Her toy was finally back. A she walked closer to alice her ears perked up. "Why hatter are you trying to sweet talk me?" She questioned. "I've met dear alice before no need for introductions... My alice" She started while walking around Alice in a slow circle " You have grown since I last saw you." Nekomi said as she came to a stop and hugged alice form behind. "Ahh yes how I've missed you" she muttered nuzzling into alice's neck. Nekomi was in a way in love with alice. But as a sister whom she wanted to hold, protect, and cherish. Nekomi hoped Alice knew this for Nekomi knew no other way of showing affection. "Oh White rabbit I didn't hear you hop in" She said emotionlessly. "Don't worry for the red queen shall not find out about alice until it's to late." She said smirking at the thought of the red queen being taken down. For you see The red queen did not take kindly to teasing as the white queen did.

"We should all hope so!, she has spies everywhere if 1 spick of news just slipped!" He sighed and turned to Alice. "As you can see, we are in quite the trouble." He scratched his left ear and turned to the hatter. "So, where are you planning to go now?"

Alice looked to the Hatter then back to the neko woman. She smiled and waved lightly. The Rabbit was freaking out then greeted her. She smiled and waved at him too. Suddenly, the woman hugged her from behind and nuzzled her, which made her giggle ever so slightly. Her hand moved to one of Nekomi's arms then felt a little bad. She didn't really remember much of Nekomi, but she didn't need to tell her that. When the Rabbit asked Hatter where they were to go, she looked to him, wondering this as well. A new question appeared in her head though ."Whats going on? Why is it important for me to be here?" she asked tilting her head to the side, opposite to the side Nekomi's head was on.

"So much to do! So many heads! Yet so little time." Screeched the mad (yes he is really mad) hatter. He clapped his hands together, "Well let's get started!"
