Powers: Grey-Wraith is able to physically manipulate of the essence of light and the absence of said light, or shadows if you will.
She has the ability to manipulate the shadows and make them tangible, becoming capable of creating a shield around herself or others, trapping others in the shadow, striking with the shadows, detection, and other uses we'll discover in due time.
With light, she's the ability to harness it into offensive energy, searing her opponents with it's mighty ferocity!
She has the ability of flight, and in complete darkness or nighttime can teleport via the shadows.
Fighting Style: Gray-Wraith usually attacks from above. Using her powers to dictate and control the battlefield. She is not as well versed in hand-to-hand combat but if she gets in range usually harnesses the shadows to beneficial effect. Such as making shadow-spiked gloves ;)

Weaknesses: Due to the nature of her powers, Diane has to keep complete control of herself at all times or else her powers may backfire against her and her allies.
Personality: Diane keeps a regal air about her. Many would consider her snobbish or arrogant but it can be explained by the sheer amount of self-control and restraint that she must keep in order to keep her powers in line.
Origin/Background: Diane Morgan was born with an extreme sensibility to light. Because of this Diane had to live a majority of her life indoors, and secluded from the rest of society. Home schooled through graduation, Diane is extremely bright, but was naive to most of the world.
Because of her uncanny sensitivity, she feared that her parents would never allow her to be free of their bonds, thus secretely she was able to apply to an esteemed college in the city of New Congress.
It was there that she lived her life behind the veil of specialized glasses, but free. However, it was during college that she found of the ways of the world, and how harsh the conditions could be. She would soon become an activist for peace, helping out local police as much as she could.
Enjoying more than anything that she was doing good in the world, and despite her illness, she soon took a major in Anthropology with a minor in Sociology. Her studies only helped intensify her desire to do good in her new community. This desire would soon come to consume her.
She was able to Graduate from the Univeristy of New Congress a Magna cum Laude, however on her graduating day, she came upon a notice about a young girl who had gone missing. Having already worked close with the Police Department, Diane took it upon herself to forgo her graduation walk and locate where the young girl was. Her investigation went successfully, and she soon informed the cops as to the location.
However, a shootout and standoff began, as there were more than one kidnapper. Feeling helpless behind the Police Line, as well as irritated at the thought of the young girl being harmed in the exchange of Gun-Fire, Diane rushed into the apartment complex in order to rescue the girl herself.
It was there that she felt first-hand the adrenaline of hand-to-hand combat. Having never fought before, it was by pure adrenaline that she was able to disarm one of the kidnappers. Taken by suprise of the civilian rushing into the building, the SWAT team had breached the building, causing the kidnappers to flee. Diane gave chase to one of the kidnappers who had the girl in his arms.
The chase soon turned into an automobile pursuit, as the kidnapper had taken off in a modified hummer and Gray-Wraith in a stolen sedan.
The Chase barreled through the city, and unfortunately for Gray-Wraith the chase ensued during the night, with the bright lights of the city affecting her vision even with her special glasses on.
The gunman was able to shoot one of her tires out and cause her to crash at a railroad crossing. The Accident left her unharmed, however the gunman drove up next to Diane's car, and shot her three times in the chest.
Although not fatally wounded, Diane was not able to escape the car fast enough as a freight train neared her vehicle. Without her sunglasses, her photophobic eyes caught the full glare of the trains great beams and caused a trigger within her blood to flare.
As the train impacted with her vehicle, there was an explosion of brilliant light and darkened shadow that envoloped the car. The impact was fierce, the car that held Diane was completely destroyed, and the freight train was driven from it's rails.
The paramedics would find Diane's body broken, but still alive.
It would take her months to recover in the hospital, but she soon found that she could see both light, and the absence of light, in ways that no normal human could. She could physically grab and mend the shadows to her will, spinning it to designs that only her imagination would limit. She could also bend light around her, turning it into searing energy.
With her new found powers, she vowed never again to allow evil to escape her grasp like the kidnapper did...
