Power: The ability to split into up three clones of himself that can be controlled individually to perform separate tasks.

Appearance: Gregory has a full head of thick dark hair. His eyes are bright and alert and he dresses accordingly. He wears a grey waistcoat over a brilliantly white shirt with bright silver buttons and interestingly engraved cufflinks. In the pocket of his waistcoat rests, at most times, a silver pocket watch that attaches via a slender chain to his waistcoat. The pocket watch is seldom used however due to the fact he fails to remember to wind it at almost every instance of checking it and has therefore given up on using it for any practical purpose altogether and as a result it shows the right time twice a day and even then it isn’t looked at. On his legs though he wears a relatively plain pair of trousers with no distinguishing features whatsoever. On his feet then he wears an old pair of formal shoes that carry scuff marks on almost any area where the scuff marks are obtainable.

Background: Gregory was the result of a passionate affair between his mother and a Transcenderi. He never knew his father and his mother was left sad and lonely by the subsequent divorce. She hadn’t done well out of the divorce settlement and now had the added pressure of a child to look after. As a result Gregory was an independent child who never had much because his mother simply couldn’t provide it. Regardless he always thought that if he tried he could have more.
His mum had been aware of Gregory’s Transcenderi heritage and while Gregory was young had hoped that she might be able to use him to get back on her feet. If his power was useful she hoped to make money out of it. His ability to split into up to three clones of himself was discovered during a test where he was asked to perform multiple tasks in a designated time. His mother had tried to pressure him into going to work as he got older using his power to increase his earnings but he had refused, preferring to continue his studies. There were arguments that created a rift between him and his only remaining known parent until he eventually left home to go to university and study for a degree in physics.
There was a small group of Trancenderi at his university that had started a small campaign to gain respect for their kind. They played to his independent nature and he had held strong beliefs for a short time. He had taken part in protests and some minor riots but once he had finished his degree he gave up his protesting and slipped into day to day life. He still keeps in contact with a small number of activists, never directly taking part but supporting, and often funding (from a stable stock market investment), there cause. He has often thought he wasn’t doing enough for the movement since he wasn’t taking part and his funding was minimal but has never seriously considered becoming an active member of any kind of rebellion again.
