The jade dappled serpent unfolded its gold-rimmed wings and looked around with opalescent eyes. The dark eye-rims created a stark contrast with his paler irises. Creamy ivory curled between the scaly lips, dark mouth and tongue glistening in the early morning light. The dark, shimmering wings folded once more against his sturdy sides, large, heavy feet driving cream talons into the soft ground as he thrust off, heavy, horned tail balancing his flight as he took to the skies. From below, his pale belly made him almost invisible against the clouds.

Description
Personality
He is generally a quiet, logical creature, relying øn reason to get him through most situations. Easy-going but firm, his no-nonsense attitude is often mistaken for meanness. Once you get to know him, though, he is relaxed and friendly, happy to spend time with those of all ages and species. His love of knowledge means he is naturally drawn to progressive people. He also enjoys catching and eating fish.
Pain and war are second nature to him, though he tries to keep them seperate to his own feelings. He is fiercely loyal and incredibly intolerant of injustice. There are things he is not proud of and sometimes he slips into dark depressions, feeling unworthy and useless. It does not happen very often though, as he loathes drama. He also does not like rain or the colour yellow in large quantities.
Equipment
Claws, horned tail, iridescent scales which refract light and make him semi-visible, slight venom.
History
Skae doesn't have much of a history. He has awaited the arrival of his rider but so far none has come forth with whom he has felt a bond. His sturdy size and calm nature make him uncomfortable around highly-strung, emotional riders. This means he waits.
