Character Personality:
Rio is at odds with himself, he does his best to keep himself together. He bites his tongue a lot when he really is angry about something someone said. Having been raised by a high class Demon Queen (Whom his real mother had been close to) he has impeccable manners, when he wants to. He doesn't like to share his feelings of inner turmoil with others. When he feels his sanity is at its limit his alter ego takes control.
Nightmare is Rio's alter ego. Nightmare is really part of Lord Abraxas. He is mostly cold and calculating. He likes to persuade others into doing things that they normally wouldn't. He is 'involved' with Lady Mara, but won't talk about it. Not because he is embarrassed, but because it is none of anyones business. He has been known to harm others mentally when he feels challenged. He finds other pain and fears amusing.
Character Appearance:
He stands about 5 feet, 10 inches.
A slightly wavy mix of brown and gold.
Lets is hang down, a bit shaggy.
His eyes are a striking shade of green.
Muscular, Athletic Build
His clothing depends on his mood, but it usually is a mix of dressy but casual.
He has several scars on his torso, and a long one down his back. There is also a strange marking on his chest, right over his heart.
As Nightmare he typically looks the same, only he wears a winged mask. He wears a black button up shirt with the sleeves partially rolled up, dark wash jeans, and black leather dress shoes.
Abilities:
Rio can persuade others into doing things he wishes. It isn't a definite thing. If the person has a strong mind and will, it will only seem as a suggestion. This gives him a migraine.
As Nightmare he can manipulate the memories of the Black Zodiac. He cannot do this to more than one person at a time. It takes far too much of his energy and can only do it a little at a time.

Character History :
-FERAL-
When Rio showed up no one knew who he was or where he came from. Rio wasn't known as Rio back then; he was a child named Rin that was 8 and a 15 year old named Adrian. When Rin showed up, he found Erin and waa calling her 'Mommy'. Erin, being 17, was confused and startled by the sudden child calling her mommy; but thought that maybe she looked like his mother. She just decided to keep an eye on Rin untill the mother surfaced.
After a while Adrian showed up looking for Rin. They ran into Kuria, a powerful Demon Queen, who noticed that he wasn't quite the normal boy. Kuria didn't like her distant family from the Crimson Moon and wished to be rid of them. Adrian agreed to spy on the Forbidden Moons' Princes and Princesses if she would help find Rin.
Adrian had gotten separated from the Forbidden Moon Sentinels when Amythyst herself attacked them. The attack caused a massive explosion that took the Sentinel of Platinum Moon, Sentinel of Crimson Moon, Sentinel of Golden Moon, and Amythyst into a Black Dimension. Adrian found himself at an old Mansion that looked abandoned, but when he went inside he found a young girl with white hair that just stared at him with blank eyes. Another woman with long black hair came running down the stairs calling the girl Naomi. Her name was Jezibella, a powerful diety. Just then Naomi told a prophecy.
"Torn in two, the princes of time to come. Come save someone that ceased to exist. Each alone searching, but only together can they find it. One is light and one is dark, do not let the light deceive thine eyes, It lives in a mask of lies. Together they will prevail, apart they will fail." -Naomi
Adrian stared at Naomi and wondered how she knew that. Jezibella explained to Adrian that Naomi Could channel the 3 Fates powers in her body. That explained why she always had the blank look in her eyes like she wasn't there. Adrian told Jezibella that when he was his actual self again that he would need both their help. Strangely Naomi turned her head toward him and spoke.
"You will require the need of our skills, but we also will be in need of your skills... only our need will be greater." -Naomi
She told Adrian as he left to find Rin and become the Prince that Namoi had said. The Sentinels had managed to fight off Amythyst and were back from the Black Dimension. Adrian found Rin. at an old temple that seemed familiar to him, but he didn't know from where.
"Time to go home.... Adrian..."Rin said with a comfortable smile
" No... Time to be ourself again.." Adrian said walking toward Rin "We were separated on the journey back here... Dark and Light. You are the light, but you aren't the good."
"Ah the Dark seems to have found out that the label doesn't matter, only the actions." Rin said smirking walking toward Adrian."I guess My job is done, but do not let your thoughts and eyes deceive you anymore!!!."
Rin walked right into Adrian's body and his body changed to what is now known as Rio. While that was happening the Sentinels were fighting their last battle against FERAL. Rio, using the powers that he regained becoming whole, tore open a portal to the Dark Dimension, called Zero. When Lord Citrine was dying he was pulled into the portal and into Zero. Rio then revealed to everyone that he was from the future and that Erin was his mother. Asked her dearest friend Kuria to watch over Rio, while she went to restore the dimensions that were destroyed by FERAL.

He has become very protective over his mother, especially now since she is pregnant. Not even Nightmare can sway him. Rio compulsively searches for something or someone who can anchor him. He no longer knows the outcome of the future since he has interfered so much already, but that was his intention. He wants to change the future that he had come from, one he will not discuss with anyone. Save his Aunt Kuria, and not even the threat of death will make her speak.
