Introduction
The story of the Rogue is a long one. As of right now, he's about 847 years old. He doesn't look it though. He's actually managed to retain a form for quite some time. He has two hearts, a bunch of brains, and one heck of a box. The TARDIS, his time machine/space ship, has been modified to look like a 1963 English public call police box. He has the ability to regenerate, by which his cells change rapidly, to evade death and change his appearance. He can only do this 12 times though, and can only have a grand total of 13 lives, like an immensely strengthened cat.
However, one day the Rogue decides he's tired of traveling the universe alone. He decides it's time for some companions. That's where everyone else comes in. The Rogue goes down to Earth, stops in front of any old house, and rings the doorbell, asking the first young adult who comes to the door if they'd like to travel with him. Past companions of Rogue's friend the Doctor have included memorable heroes and heroines like Rory Williams, Amy Pond, River Song, Donna Noble, Rose Tyler, the list goes on.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 3 authors
"Ah, Doc? How long has it been that I've been wandering without any companions?" The AI form of the Doctor, the Rogue's old friend, whirrs to life. The AI, sounding far from the Doctor's voice, explains that it has been 142 years without companions. "This bites," the Rogue complained. "Any idea on where I can find one or two?" The AI explains that the two people that seem the most 'appropriate' to be companions are Kelly Hanson, a 27-year-old circa 2045, and Dmitri Katayshkia, a 30-year-old Russian soldier from WWII. "Alright then. AI, prime the engines. Set the course for 2045, wherever Hanson might be." The familiar moaning and whirring of the TARDIS taking off set in. From the outside, somewhere on a foreign planet, anyone would've seen the TARDIS vanish into thin air. If you knew what was really happening though, you'd know the space-time traveling machine was really reappearing on Earth, 31 years later.

Storm walked down the street at pace, bloodied cricket bat over her shoulder. Her face was splattered with very small dots of scarlet. Another moaning, brainless jackass approached her and reached to grab onto her. She got into a batting stance, readied the bat and swung with all of her might. The zombie's head had flung back, now only hanging on by the skin at the back of the neck. "No homerun, then, today?" She chuckled to herself, and slung the cricket bat behind her.
The soft hum of the TARDIS stirred her as she turned. The blue box phased in and out of existence before staying permanently. The noise alarmed the Zombies.
"Shit...!" Storm began to run, as the zombies slowly turned their gaze to her and the box. At full speed she ran to the box and slammed on the door. No time to ask for an explanation, she called. "Who ever's in there, whatever's in there, run!! You alerted the hordes with this dumbass contraption of yours and I wouldn't stick around if I were you!!"

The Rogue oh-so-slightly opened the TARDIS doors. "Oi, you there! Need any help? Come inside if you wish to live! Those are Empties! Don't let them touch you or you're finished!" The Rogue shouted out towards Storm. The Rogue darted out for no more than a minute to identify that the zombies were, in fact, Empty People. "Well, come in then! Unless of course, you have some kind of suicidal thoughts..." The Rogue made a face that was impossible to label between wincing, confusion, and disgust.

"Empties?! What the fuck are empties?!? They're ZOMBIES, idiot!! Reanimated corpses and that eat the brains of the living and stuff!!" They closed in around her and the box. Hordes upon hordes of 'Zombies'. shuffling, dismembered and broken. She aimed her cricked bat at some of them, and the sinking feeling of knowing she was massively outnumbered set in. She looked at them man now, raising an eyebrow. "Who are you, anyway? You could be... a rapist, or a murderer, or even worse - a politician." She sighed, whacking one of the closer lifeless corpses around the head. Storm was running out of options.
"On... second thought I think I'll just..." She barged into the box.
"Sorry about the intrusion bu..." Her voice trailed off. "... E-Erm.... It's... it's... a bit big for a box, isn't it? I mean I know it can appear and stuff but.. wow. Woooow." She lowered her cricket bat and stared in awe around the roof, then at the console. "Looks like a tiny little thing on the outside... What is this thing...?"
"On... second thought I think I'll just..." She barged into the box.
"Sorry about the intrusion bu..." Her voice trailed off. "... E-Erm.... It's... it's... a bit big for a box, isn't it? I mean I know it can appear and stuff but.. wow. Woooow." She lowered her cricket bat and stared in awe around the roof, then at the console. "Looks like a tiny little thing on the outside... What is this thing...?"

"Move!" Yelled our commander as we rushed through the hallway outside the command center. As he ran with the rest of the soldiers he heard gunfire and the screams of the soldiers. As dimitri and the rest of the soldiers made it to the fortified line they saw man of the soldiers dead and small parasites crawling out of their ear and growing bigger. "What the hell are they" screamed a soldier as gunfire began to sound again and screams of both human and creature can be heard and no matter how much they killed they just kept coming and coming until ammo was running low and all was left was 20 soldiers, Dmitri and their commander locked up inside the command center scared and afraid besides Dmitri who was trying to be calm and not panic.

"This," The Rogue began. "Is the TARDIS. My TARDIS. Stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space. Welcome aboard." The Rogue replied, giving Storm a minute to take it all in. "And I'm the Rogue. And Empties, by the way, are a.... well..... who-knows-what caused by nanogenes. They touch you, the nanogenes turn you into one of them. First time it ever happened was during the London Blitz during World War Two. Speaking of which..." The Rogue paused. "We should get heading there. The other companion is there, and I've been told he's in a helluva pickle."

"Companion??" Storm blinked a few times and examined her surroundings. "Nanogenes? Empties?" She stared blankly at this man for any sign of sanity but he gave none. "Well.. Um... Hello, Rouge, I'm Storm. Um. And also, how can we be going to World War 2?" She moved to the control panel and examined the various buttons, knobs, switches, levers and screens, all with funny symbols on. "This is just a disappearing box. I don't get it. And who said I'm your companion now? Sure that other WW2 guy might be, but um. Yeah. Not one to be whisked away by a madman in a box."

"Well, you see," the Rogue began "Nanogenes are little tiny robots that function kinda like doctors-" the Rogue trailed off. "Doctors... anyhow, they take the DNA and a 'photo' of sorts from any given species, and redistribute it to all of them that are of the same species and don't match." The Rogue began flipping switches and pressing buttons of all sorts and shapes. "But they only are spread by touch. Must've found a rotting corpse somewhere, reanimated it, and then made others like it, called Empties, because it empties them out of all though and or emotion. Thank goodness I got you outta there in time, eh?" The Rogue rambled. "Second question, as to how we're going to get to World War 2, the answer is the box you're standing in right now. It's both a time machine and a spaceship. That's what TARDIS stands for, after all. Time And Relative Dimension In Space." The Rogue continued, taking off his jacket. "You know, you don't have to come with me. I just figured you'd find it better than that death pit out there." The Rogue climbed the TARDIS's main stairs, and walked up to a keypad. He pressed in the key-code, making sure that Storm didn't see it, and stepped inside, the door closing behind him. He sighed. "Doctor... why weren't you there when I needed you? Why weren't you there when he..." The Rogue stopped, grief ensnaring his voice. He wouldn't show this sorrow, no. Not in front of others. He stepped out of the room. "So. Let's get going, shall we?" He asked, sounding on the verge of tears.

As Dmitri looked around the command center he saw at least 14 soldiers and the commander but while he was observing the soldiers most of them seemed in a state of shock, no surprise after seeing those creatures kill the others around them. "Comrades!" the commander yelled out catching the attention of all the soldiers "comrades do not fear because this must be the work of the Germans!, they must have created these things to kill out motherland, so we must do what is needed to protect her!, we must head to the munitions storage and find a explosive inside it and detonate it and all the munitions with it, we will not survive this but we will save everyone else!" The soldiers begin to cheer after the commanders speech and they all rally next to the commander for his plan.

Storm stared at him blankly, nodding at his words and agreeing. He then walked into a room, and left her for a few moments. She stared blankly still at the door, confused at his sudden disappearance. He seemed like quite a nice guy, she assumed, and he was correct about this... big.. box thing being better than outside. When he returned he sounded upset. She was suddenly concerned about this stranger. He did save her life after all. "..Um... Sure... Are you alright, man?

"Perfectly fine," the Rogue began. "I think." He began to pace. "So, World War Two, Soviet Soldier, about to blow the absolute snot out of himself. Better stop him, you think?" The Rogue pondered this a short bit before flipping some switches, pushing some buttons, and holding tight to a handle on the console. "Strap yourself into one of the bar stools over there, or grab onto something. This is about to get all wibbly-wobbly." The pillar in the center of the room began to rotate. A whirring sound filled the area. Lights flashed, rumbling ensued, and the TARDIS took off into the timestream.

"It's just me!" Dmitri said after locking the munition storage door "your sacrifices will not be in vain comrades!" Dmitri yelled out as he quickly began to attach the explosives to crates of ammunition and other explosives and while he was doing this the creatures began to break the munition storage door down but Dmitri gave no attention to it as he kept placing the explosives down until all that was left was the detanator in his hands "alright you dammed creatures I'll make sure I take every last one of you with me!".

Confused, annoyed and plain bamboozeled (if such a word exists), Storm grabbed a corner of the console with both hands. Then the circular pillar began to move, and that noise she had heard before was happening again, what one that attracted the zombies... or... whatever they were. She became quickly alarmed and was on edge. "What's going on? What's it doing?? What do you mean 'Wibbly-Wobbley'?!! That doesn't make sense!!!"
As the TARDIS began to rumble and quake, the Rogue began shouting over the noise. "Wibbly wobbly! Friend of mine used the term all the time. Means something... ah.... confusing, or perhaps unusual. The TARDIS is just taking off, don't worry. If you look to your left, you'll see the rest of the TARDIS. If you look above you..." the Rogue flipped some switches "You'll see exactly what's going on outside those doors!" A vast reach of stars, clouds, lightning, vortexes and nebuli swirled about above the TARDIS's passengers. Suddenly, the rumbling stopped. The whirring slowed, and a man dressed all in Soviet Soldier attire appeared standing in the TARDIS. "Hello, you. Dmitri Katayshkia I do believe. Welcome aboard. Storm, this is Soviet soldier Dmitri Katayshkia. Dmitri, this is Storm. I'm the Rogue and you, my friend, are standing in a box that's bigger on the inside."
Dmitri look around surprised "who...what...how" what caught his attention the most was the clothing they where wearing "who are you people or what are you" but he quickly snapped out of his state of surprise and looked at the detonator in his hands "I was about to send those things to hell,well maybe it's not to late" as his thumb loomed over the button
"Go ahead." the Rogue began, "It won't take you out. Just them and every other man in your squad. Think about that. It's either you destroy them, and take your whole squad with them, or you can let us step in, take them out, and crush them at the source. Which would you prefer? Squad has a chance of living or everybody dies?" He inquired as the ultimatum came from his mouth. "Or, of course, we could just jettison them off to their homeworld and remove them from every human's memory." The Rogue flipped a few switches and spun a valve. "Pick your poison, my good sir."
"My squad is already dead those things killed everyone but me, they sacrificed their lives to get to the storage area and while the soldiers at the entrance are fighting to protect those outside the bunker from those brain eating creatures" "it a much better idea to blow the entire place up and kill all the creatures then let live and possibly come back" after saying this he clicked the button causing the explosives to go off along with crates of munitions and a large amout of explosives to go off.

"I see. That's what had to be done. That's all that ever had to be done." The Rogue had an argument with himself in his head. Should he tell them? Should he not? Maybe it was best to wait a while. Or would they hate him for not telling him sooner? The Rogue wasn't sure. "So! Where to? Anywhere cool, any-when you want to see? Anyone?" The Rogue began to pace.

Storm quietly nodded along to their conversation, pretending to know what was happening. She could easily empathize with the new man, knowing from many many many previous experiences with groups and friends trying to survive. It is a lot better to be alone, she'd found. "Uhm, sorry, hi, I'm Storm... whoever you are." She extended her hand to the new man, whilst examining him. He seemed to be in a very old-time war suit, none of the likes she'd seen. "This is the Rouge. Um. And this thing - however crazy it sounds - seems to move. I thought you'd appreciate a sane girl confirming it." She nodded, talking more to herself than the man.
She quickly turned to The Rouge. "So you can go anywhere and do anything? Like... stop a zombie break out..." She raised an eyebrow at him."... or stop a war..." She nodded to the other man. "... you could change lives for the better and you've stood by and watched it all happen?" A hint of anger altered her tone of voice. "Shoot me if I'm wrong, but you're a bit of a cun--" She cleared her throat, stopping herself from talking.

Dmitri extended his hand to shake her hand "pleasure to meet you storm, my name in Dmitri" he examined storm for a few seconds and what caught his eye most was the clothing she had on because he never saw anything close to what she had on. After he heard storm say the words "this thing seems to move" he had a puzzled look on his face "this thing I'm in can move?" Dmitri said in his mind.
When the woman was talking to the rouge he overheard her and her change in tone so he simply walked a small distance away from them in case it turns ugly. Dmitri looked at the center of the room and examined it though he quickly looked away because he had no idea what it even does for all he knows it could melt his brain if he looked at it or turn him into a animal.

"Don't you worry, Dmitri. It's just a console. Bunch of buttons and switches and levers and valves that take us places. No big deal, though that one button can melt you if you press it wrong..." The Rogue began rambling, eventually coming to a stop with a clap of his hands. "So! I have the best idea ever. Let's go to Osteon Two! Lovely place this time of year. Who's with me? Take a nice break from these aliens and rogue nanogenes, eh?" The Rogue pushed some buttons, and his expression changed as if he realized something.
"Oh! TARDIS, create two new rooms! We need bedrooms for the newcomers." A large whooshing noise could be heard, and a little machine on the dashboard went 'ding'. "Oop, fuddyduddies. Looks like we'd better go somewhere, and fast. And before you ask: I have a little machine, I leave it on the dash of the TARDIS. It goes-" The machine dinged again. "Ding whenever there's alien life nearby, not counting me. Now the only question is... what is it?"

Collectibles
By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
