Description
Elizabeth is eighteen years old with long, luscious brown hair, startling blue-gray eyes and a light complexion. She weighs roughly 117 lbs and stands at 5'4'', making her taller then most of her female friends. Though she is skinny, Elizabeth carries curves in all of the right places, including her chest and hips. Her eyes are soft, as are the rest of her features, making her look sweet and approachable. Elizabeth's smile, coupled with her dimples, always seems to brighten-up any room she is in and sometimes will cheer up those around her. Normally, Elizabeth will dress cute, but comfortable, opting for a pair of jeans and a fitted t-shirt, tank-top or spaghetti-strap tank-top. Sometimes, she'll go for a loose fitting blouse, usually with some type of lace on it or a loose and wavy skirt, also sometimes lacy. Her shoes consist of sneakers, converse, several pairs of strappy, flat sandles and a few pairs of flip-flops. For colder weather she normally just throws on a cute jacket that will keep her warm. But sometimes she'll wear one of Ashton's Cybrin High sweatshirts that he gave her. Elizabeth likes to keep her make-up light and natural. Often all she will have on is eyeliner and a soft pink shade of lip gloss.Personality
Elizabeth is very up-beat, though she isn't loud. She seems to get along with everyone she meets, both girls and boys, and everyone has always wanted to be her friend. She is definitely the fun one of the group. Elizabeth loves going to parties or mainly, the environment that is created in them. She is the epitome of a socialite, which makes her great with all kinds of people. Even though she is up-beat and out-going, Elizabeth is also a sweetheart when it comes to those she cares about, especially Ashton. Elizabeth is very confident in herself, and like Skyler, once her sights are set on something she is determined to do whatever it takes to get it, not letting anyone or anything get in her way. Elizabeth never liked it when Ashton would take his 'trips' out to the swamp late at night and often asked him not to go, but he never listened. Once she realized he was missing, Elizabeth knew it must have something to do with the swamp and the weird disappearances happening. She is incredibly determined to uncover what is going on in town, and find the love of her life, who she believes to be still alive.
History
When she was only three years young, Elizabeth's father left her mother and her for another woman. Growing up with one parent wasn't as tough as most people thought and slowly, Elizabeth began to learn to take care of herself while her mother seemed to be working more and more. The only contact she had with her father had been one or two phone calls over the years and the monthly child support check they received from him.
Elizabeth has been with Ashton since they were freshmen in high school and they have been together ever since. She is in love with him, so she is completely devastated when she discovers he is missing. Though most of the town believes him to be dead, Elizabeth doesn't. She says that she would know if he is dead, but something inside of her keeps telling her that he is alive and that she needs to do whatever it takes to find him.
Soon after his disappearance, Elizabeth got a call from Skyler, saying that she was coming back to town to find out what happened to her brother and agreed to pick her up from the airport. They talked about her brother and she told Skyler everything she knew about Ashton's trips to the swamp. However, she did keep one thing from the girl.
She did not tell her about Ashton's visit to her the night before he disappeared. He showed up late at night, looking nervous and not making much sense. He told her that they had to break up before they took her away. She was going to ask who they were, but before she could say a word, Ashton placed a light kiss on her lips and slipped a crumpled piece of paper into her hand. He whispered the words I love you,to her and seconds later was out the door. Elizabeth had unfolded the piece of paper and look a long look at it. The paper was dirty and had dried up mud all over it. It looked like a letter, but she couldn't be sure, all of the ink had been blurred and smeared by water. After taking a closer look, Elizabeth was able to make out the signature at the bottom of the letter, Melony Cybrin.
