Stephen frowned as she breathed harshly. "You're okay." He whispered in her ear, and kissed her head as she leaned on him. "You're just fine. You're doing better than me at this point." He smiled charmingly, and went in front of her, holding her safely as he looked at her. "You're going to be fine, I swear." He promised, and kissed her lips.

"As much as I would love to be carried down the aisle." Brooklyn smiled a little bit. "I would prefer to be able to walk down the aisle." Brooklyn sighed running a hand through her hair a few tears running down her cheeks. "I feel so useless laying here all the time. I have things I'm supposed to be doing at home, Dad, didn't give me the throne so I could lay in bed all day, he gave it to me because he was to tired to run the country, and now thats what he's doing." A few more tears escaped her eyes rolling down her cheeks.

Brooklyn looked at him for a minute, he hadn't ever used that tone of voice with her. "Then maybe you should have just let me die Stephen." She looked down at her hands fiddling with the ring on her finger. "You would have killed yourself if it wasn't for me. I forced you to eat, I helped you walk, and I dealt with you screaming at me, and telling me how worthless you were when you had no idea what your worth was to me." Brooklyn almost laughed a little bit. "I've never really thought about it. Not until now."
