Name: Keigo Atobe
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Class: 3A
Appearance: 5'9", 176 lbs, Dark Blue Eyes, Dark Grey Hair, One Mole (a tear mole)
Freetime Clothing:------------To--------------The----------------Right------------------>
Likes: Tennis, Fly-Fishing, Reading, Fencing, Piano, Classical Music, Ballroom Dancing, European Films, Black and Gold.
Dislikes: Anthropods, Losing, Slackers, People Who Lack Talent, Push-Overs, Weak Women.
Favorite subjects: Greek, Literature, Music, Phys Ed.
Personality: Atobe is severely narcissistic and arrogant. Despite this, Atobe is very diligent in his practice and has much pride in his former tennis team. He is very spoiled, having a ridiculously rich family. Atobe lives believing everyone will admire him for his hard work and genuine talent. He also is conceited when expressing his appearance. Atobe finds himself to be gorgeous and isn't afraid to flaunt it. The biggest aspect of Atobe is his ego. It's so large that somehow, at least at his previous school, he earned popularity through it. Atobe mainly believes it's alright to think like this since he can genuinely back it up. He sees himself as a star with the legitimate talent and skills to back it up. Atobe usually expects anything and everything, coming from a rich, royal, family and having raw talent. A surprising trait about Atobe is his approach to losing. Although he dislikes it, he'll take the results and learn from them. Surprisingly, Atobe isn't a soar loser or boastful winner. He's just an egotistical, narcissistic, arrogant guy.
Background: Atobe's family is royalty to England. His family also has a vast fortune that has seemingly no end. Atobe was raised to be independent, without much help from his parents. Both his parents introduced him to many things, some that he still practices today. The staple in his like is Tennis. He seemingly had raw talent for the sport, but still practiced constantly. He quickly rose to the National Champion of Great Britain, and by the age of 13 won the European Championship. He won two more European Championships, but his parents were being forced to move to Japan. They moved somewhere where Tennis wasn't as popular. This greatly annoyed Atobe, but he was told to deal with it, so he did. Now his parents are enrolling him in Shinoda High School. He continues his usual activities, but with slightly more difficulty.
Clubs: Tennis Club, Fencing Club, Greek Literature Club, Ballroom Dancing Club, Music Appreciation Club.
Motto for Life: Adel sitzt im Gemüt, nicht im Geblüt. German for: Nobility Resides in the Mind, Not in the Blood.

Atobe woke up earlier than usual. He stood up and walked to his bathroom, glancing at the mirror as usual. "Hopefully this school wont be much different than what I'm used to..." He stripped and hopped in the shower, the warm water revitalizing him. He stepped wrapped himself in a towel and brushed his teeth. The soft gel of the toothpaste felt refreshing, the smooth mint flavor was his favorite. Atobe took a second towel and dried his hair, proceeding to comb it to the usual 'kick flip' as he called it. "Good, my perfect mole is lovely as ever." He couldn't help but smile at his self proclaimed 'charm point'. He finally stepped out of his bathroom and into his walk-in closet. He grabbed his boxers and the new school uniform, freshly steam pressed. "Alright, time to head downstairs for some breakfast!"

Atobe walked down the spiral staircase of the new mansion to the marble plastered kitchen. He was used to feeding himself in the mornings. His father was a director, his mother was a business women. Both of them weren't home too often, his mother literally never seemed to spend even one night at home. She would always call Atobe, though, checking up on her only son. He grabbed a frying pan, some eggs and scrambled them. Atobe sighed, eating them alone and enjoying his glass of orange juice. He finished and walked towards the door grabbing his keys. He took a step outside feeling a cool breeze sweep across his face, "Refreshing." He locked the door, and began his walk to school.

Atobe walked down the street, approaching his new school. "I wonder if any of the students know I'm gracing them with my presence." He smirked, enjoying the sight of the numerous Sakura Trees. "So gorgeous, just like me." He looked around noticing a green haired kid hugging a nearby Sakura Tree, "Ooooook... Not strange at all." He also noticed a girl parking her motocross bike and another playing her PSP under a tree. "These people seem to be rather wrapped in themselves..." Atobe could hear students talking about him, pointing at him, probably admiring his stunning good looks. "This shouldn't be much different than home, I'll be back on top in no time." He laughed quietly to himself, looking around for a sign of the school Tennis Courts or a Performance Hall. He figured asking someone wouldn't hurt, he approached a girl with pink hair standing under a tree. "Excuse me, Miss. I'm Atobe, the new student from England. I was hoping you could direct me to the Tennis Courts?" Atobe offered a hand shake with a smile, hoping to make at least one friend before school officially started.

Haru was drawn from his thoughts for the second time that day, only to hear the one thing he didn't want to hear at that very moment from the one person he didn't want to meet. "Excuse me, Miss. I'm Atobe, the new student from England. I was hoping you could direct me to the Tennis Courts?"

So he was the prince... and he was one of the many people who thought Haru was a girl based on his appearance. It didn't bother Haru too much, seeing as it was a weekly occurence. Somewhere in his head, though, he had hoped that this transfer student would have the reasoning skills to look just below Haru's hair and face and see the boys' uniform.

What was obviously a very uncomfortable and slightly irritated smile was forced, and if this were an anime, a vein would likely be visible on Haru's head. He awkwardly shook Atobe's hand for a moment. "Nice to meet you... Atobe. I'm Haru Umehara, but, ah, I think you may be a bit confused." He took his hand back, shoving both hands into his pockets. He didn't go as far as to tell Atobe that he had Haru's gender mixed up, hoping he'd catch on on his own, but continued speaking after a short pause. "The Tennis Courts are out behind the main building, just to the East of the soccer field and track. I suppose that I could show you if you need me to." Though Haru didn't want to get too friendly with the transfer student, showing him out back couldn't hurt. Being Student Council President, he felt sort of obligated to help out, anyways.

As another person walked over and joined the conversation, Haru's smile looked a bit less forced. "Good morning, Karin." He frowned a bit when he noticed the cigarette. "You really shouldn't be smoking on school grounds..." When Karin began talking about the prince, Haru had to hold back any signs of his amusement, waiting to see what Atobe's initial reaction would be.

Atobe slowly realized his grave mistake when approaching the pink haired character. As the character rose their head and responded to the hand shake, he noticed the adam's apple. "Nice to meet you Haru Umehara, I'm terribly sorry about that, heh." He tried to be gracious about his mistake, making it appear honest. Atobe shrugged and placed his hand behind his head, trying to lighten the situation with a little laughter. "Ah, thank you. And uh, I think I can manage by myself, thanks again, though." He was still a tad bit gracious, trying hard to not make this guy an enemy.

He turned around to leave just as a girl approached him and Haru. She was rather tall and was smoking a cigarette. He wondered my she approached them, thinking that possibly his strikingly good looks were the reason. "Good morning, Karin." He heard Haru, and listened to the beginning of the conversation between the two. "You really shouldn't be smoking on school grounds..." He wondered who exactly Haru was, giving advice in such a manner, maybe they were friends... but that was rather doubtful. He finally zoned back into the conversation as Karin began talking. "Anyone know when this prince guy is going to show up? I want to see if he is really what people expected him to be. I can imagine that he could be a snobby and narcissistic snot or someone outright perverted who chases after girls by their features." Atobe felt a weight crash onto his head. He immediately thought, 'Who revealed to the students that I was a prince... this isn't going to turn out well... no point in acting anymore.' An odd expression of arrogance and conceit took over Atobe's face. "I am this so called 'Prince Guy' you speak of!" He clenched his hand so that his thumb was pointing to himself. "I'm Keigo Atobe! Heir to the throne!" He dropped the location part since, truly, it'd be ages before he'd actually become a king and by that point, he'd most likely deny the position. "And for your information; I'm not perverted in any way! I value women more than that." He was incredibly annoyed with that generalization, everyone always thought that. He knew he couldn't deny the narcissistic attitude claim, but it was all in good reason. "And I may be narcissistic, but it's all in good terms!" He felt like that would benefit him, letting people know he wasn't some terrible prince that had a huge head. Atobe knew that he did, but the attitude wasn't just words, it was backed up by his talent and skills.

"Don't worry about it." Haru replied to Atobe's apology, shrugging it off. He turned fully to Aiyame when she approached him, happy to have a distraction. He looked down at the shorter girl with interest as she spoke, beaming at the fact that she was expressing interest in student council. "I believe we're still in need of a secretary. You seem like an organized person, so you'd probably be perfect for the position. There should be a form in the front office for you to fill out- it mainly asks why you want to join and why you think you're qualified. After that, as long as your grades are alright and your personal record looks okay, there shouldn't be anything else."

Haru crossed his arms, a looking a bit more serious. "We'd usually have elections, but people haven't been showing much interest in student council for the past few years.I'm glad someone actually wants to join, though." Haru turned his head to look at Atobe again as he introduced himself in a manner that really did show that he was royalty. Luckily, this prince wasn't nearly as bad as Haru expected. Maybe, just maybe, with enough patience from Haru's end, they could form some sort of friendship, or acquaintanceship at the least. When Karin replied to the comment about smoking, Haru sighed. "Just make sure you don't overdo it."

"Well, nice to meet your acquaintance, Karin Takamoto..." Atobe's sarcasm was shining, just as she struck his back. He was a tad bit surprised with her tomboy appearance and hard ass attitude, but whatever. "Alright, I'll 'watch out' then." He wasn't being too serious, giving off a rather annoyed tone. Atobe began walking eastward, hoping to stumble upon the Tennis Courts. "What a smart ass..." Atobe didn't like people who acted that way, let alone women. As he walked towards what was hopefully the Tennis Courts, he overheard more conversations about 'the prince' aka him. He was a slightly surprised seeing that nobody knew he was the prince. "People'll learn sooner or later... I wonder if there's a tennis team here, and if it's any good." He rounded the corner and alas, the tennis courts were in sight. "That's good, hard court and clay court!" He wasn't overly surprised to see both court styles at such a large school, but even so, he was a little happier. "Now to find my class, 3A..." He turned around after admiring the courts for a few moments. He headed inside the school and wondered down the hall hoping to find 3A. "Hmmm..." He walks past a duo; a guy with brownish red hair and a girl with an odd purple hued hair. He wasn't overly intrigued by the two and was just set on finding his class, which he did, and found a seat in the second row right in the center. He anxiously awaited the bell to ring, hoping to play some tennis after school.

Atobe was enjoying the relative silence prior to the bell. He had noticed a girl with dark hair sitting down while being ambushed by a group of girls, she sat next to the window. Atobe also noticed that Haru walked in, he was slightly relieved to see someone he knew. As he sat there waiting for class to start, he simply thought. He was thinking about many things, but most importantly was his tennis career. As he sat there thinking of what would happen here with his career, it struck him odd that at such a highly renowned school would have teachers showing up late. It didn't impress him in the slightest and actually annoyed him greatly. Atobe ultimately decided to let it go since today was the first day of school. So he sat patiently waiting for the teacher to arrive and for the class to calm down, everything was a tad too noisy for his taste. Plus he still could hear some people talking about the new prince, little did they know he was sitting in the room with them.

Aiyame felt a bit of disappointment , knowing well she probably wasn't going to get a look at his notebook. Literature always intrigued her interest and made things a bit exciting when you write about ANYTHING you wanted. She look over the boy's pink hair again, some how her eyes always led back to it. It looked...soft. No longer able to resist the temptation she reached out to touch it, but before she could she heard a couple of the girls squealing. She paused and looked over at the commotion, they were all crowding around the boy she saw earlier. She assumed he was the prince, considering she has never seen this student before. She retracted her hand and couldn't help but snicker a bit. " I figured that would happen." When ever a good looking boy came by the would often always get some girls to aw over them. Sadly with the girls who were quite beautiful they would get some love from the guys, but more of hatred from girls.

She looked back a Haru about to speak to him again when Ahri Aiyame-chaaaan! I am all alone in my new class...this is so unfair! I don't know a single person in it.. " She jumped and almost hit Haru's desk this time, boy could she be a clutz some times. She turned around and look up at Ahri. " You weren't interrupting at all, I was just talking to Haru. Our teacher seems to be a bit late herself. It's quite a shame were in different classes, but this could be a chance to get to know more people." She smiled slightly at her, feeling a bit bad they wouldn't see each other during class hours. Ahri was after all, one of her closest friends. " I hope you decide to join the Writing club." she sounded a bit more enthusiastic.

What seemed like a innocent child's expression turned into a mischievous one "Or I won't tell you when the new release on that new fighting game will be tomorrow and where..." her expression returned to normal. She only treated Ahri this way, due to being close to her. She heard the bell ring once again, the teacher finally arrived. She seemed to be in a bit of rush, trying to catch her breathe. " Better hurry back to your class Ahri" She turned and nodded at Haru, hoping to pet his hair some other time.

The lessons began finally, although Aiyame was only half paying attention as she sat and simply wrote a couple things down; not notes but scenario ideas.

Haru's eyes followed Aiyame's hand as it reached towards his hair. He didn't have much of a problem with it- he definitely kept his hair in as good condition as some of the girls at the school, but he wasn't nearly as defensive about his as some of them were about theirs. When he noticed Aiyame's attention move elsewhere, he turned to see exactly what had distracted her. What that Atobe again? "This year is definitely going to be interesting..." Haru thought, turning back when he heard someone speaking to Aiyame.

He sat there for a moment, simply listening to them. Once they got onto the topic of videogames, he had a look of discontent that lacked interest. Videogames were definitely not his forte, fighting and strategy games especially. He decided to go back to the small book in his hands, but as soon as he began to open it, the bell rang yet again. He didn't pay much mind as Ahri and Aiyame left, instead turning and exchanging the smaller book for a larger spiral notebook. As the lessons began, Haru gave his full attention to the teacher, filling the pages of his notebook with notes written in neat handwriting.

(OOC: Holy Heck... I missed alot, MUH BAD... I'll be doing like a 'what did Atobe do during lunch' addition. Yeay...)

So the bell rung, loudly which annoyed Atobe, but it was time for lunch. He waited for everyone in the class to leave so he could do what he wanted, when, and where. After Haru and the other girl left, along with the numerous other students, Atobe stepped outside the room. He looked around and headed for the tennis courts again, he hadn't practiced in a week or so, since he was moving in to his new house and he didn't like that. So he avoided people so he could avoid unnecessary attention and walked down the east corridor to a set of doors. He opened them and alas, the tennis courts lay directly in front of him. "It'll be nice to play again." Atobe approached the courts, and began stretching and doing his usual warm-up routine. "This feels good! Liberating!" Atobe wasn't used to skipping practice for a week, actually it was practically unheard of.

Atobe was always a disciplined boy; never straying in his studies or his passion. He had practiced Tennis at least five days a week every week for ten years. That was Atobe's secret to being such a good player and for staying in shape, plus it was the basis of Atobe's success in many fields. Tennis was Atobe's life, plain and simple. He was the best, he knew he was the best, and he was determined to stay the best. That's what drove Atobe to go ahead and feel the courts here, 'I wont actually practice today, but I'll get to know the court.' He thought. Atobe had finished his stretches and began jogging the length of the court, taking three laps for good measure. After that he pulled out his racquet from his tennis bag, looking up at the sun. "Ah, it's so nice out... perfect for my reorientation!" Atobe was still talking to himself, although most people would find it weird, it was his way of getting pumped. "Alright, let's go!" He pulled out his headband and wristbands and began practicing his forehand, then his backhand, even his overhead and volley. He was acclimating to the weather rather nicely, it was cooler here than England... and he liked cooler air.

After roughly twenty minutes of stroke practice, Atobe knew the bell would ring again, so he packed up his stuff and walked back inside. "That was good... although my backhand was a little off... and my overhead a little high... Heh, listen to me, I didn't even hit a ball and I'm judging myself!" Atobe laughed a little, realizing how stupid it was to evaluate his stroke without even striking a ball. As he walked inside, he noticed Haru and some girls walking towards class. "Did the bell ring yet?" He said quietly, not wanting the attention right now, at least not until he could show off his awesome skills and his amazing good looks. So he continued walking down the hall, luckily avoiding everyone and walked into the class. He noticed that Haru had his notebook out, but decided to sit and rest abit before class actually started up again. "This school is pretty weird," Atobe muttered, yawning quietly and closing his eyes slowly.

Class was still dragging on. Atobe felt the need to hop up and move around, he simply needed more exercise than this. He hopped out of his seat and walked out of the class. "There isn't enough activity here..." Atobe was alone and simply complaining to himself. "How am I supposed to keep my greatness intact?" He began walking down the hall, hoping to take a brief walk. "The tennis situation doesn't seem good... and the school appears to lack some of the perks back home..." The halls were dead quiet and Atobe kind of enjoyed the solitude. "This isn't so bad." He continued walking around, exploring the school abit. "I'll admit this school is bigger, but it isn't as nice..." He happened to turn a corner and bump into someone, falling over. "Oh, sorry." He stood up and offered his hand to the girl. Upon offering his hand he realized that it was Karin who he bumped into.

Atobe knew nothing good would come about this encounter, it was Karin, a girl who appeared to be a fearsome foe. He had no idea how to respond to such a character. "Hey, relax, I'm sorry... yes, but I needed to take walk. My muscles can't sit still for hours on end." Atobe had regained his usual composure while giving off a 'stfu' tone. He listened to Karin's words, "I'm pretty sure you meant irresistible... either way, I am, and I never expected you to drool over me like the others!" He was letting out a little of his steam and the tension was rising. "I don't always impress with looks. That's just a perk." He gained that lovely vain bulging on his forehead. "That's what my talents are for!" He threw a snide smirk. "I don't need you as a fangirl, sorry." He simply waved of Karin and continued his stroll. "Ciao."

"Alright, Karin." Atobe was slowly growing irritated in this person who was clearly beneath him. "I get it, loud and clear. Do as you please, I'm not going to sit there without taking a brief walk." His self conceit starting to show just a tad, but that was Atobe; he cared more for his physical state than his academic. His education was practically top notch and his grades never stooped below A's. This was obviously in back home, in England, but here wasn't too different. His grades would most likely remain the same, or even improve, but that was only from his own intelligence. Either way Atobe found his physical condition to trump his mental condition. If he wasn't able to participate in Tennis matches with his full strength, then why even participate? That was Atobe's mental note to stay active despite homework and other non-physical tasks. So, Atobe continued his walk, having gained an unattractive angered expression. He quickly recollected his most recent victory in the European Championship, which always brought a smile to his face.

~~Flashback~~

"It's the final set of the Match between Keigo Atobe and Felix Mancini! Who will take this final set for the victory in the European Championship?!" Atobe walked up to the court preparing to serve a perfectly executed kick serve to shorten the set. Felix knew of Atobe's tactic and prepared a strong return causing slight irritation within Atobe. The match continued; now ending up 6 games to 5, 30-30, Atobe leading. "Hey Felix, you're a good player, keep up the practice." He tipped his hat off to his opponent who received the compliment and suddenly gained a revitalizing boost of adrenaline. "Arrivederci Atobe! I shall claim this victory over you!" Felix was suddenly hopping on his feet with knees bent, ready for anything. Atobe gave him a standard serve; straight down center court. Felix returned the ball with ferocity, but lost his footing, Atobe took advantage and lobbed the ball. The crowd viciously erupted into cheers for Atobe. "Felix, be awed at the sight of my prowess!" He threw the ball up and launched a strong kick serve. Felix wasn't honestly prepared for it but managed to return the serve. The volley for match point seemed to last hours, but truly took a mere four minutes. Atobe finished the match with a swift backhand slice, causing the ball to bounce directly up, something Felix didn't expect. The ball struck the ground for a second bounce, and Atobe won the match. The crowd had erupted into cheers for Atobe being the victor for the second year in a row. "Good Match, Felix." He offered his hand only to be refused by his opponent. "Just some advice, Felix... don't keep the sore loser mentality." He turned away from Felix and walked over to receive his trophy and take many pictures and interviews. "Ciao, hopefully I get to play against you again... although the result will be the same." He smiled before reaching his trophy and the awaiting mass of news reporters and fans.
