Violet frowned. Argent looked very normal under that mask. It was almost stranger than if he had some horrible disfigurement. "Guess that's a good enough reason to be interested." She fiddled with her jacket zipper.
Donnchad's remark gave her some pause. Well, he did look familiar, and since she couldn't quite place him herself, she just decided to believe Donnchad. "Oh, yeah, I guess I have seen you around," she said. She tried to arrange herself in a more confident posture, but she just looked uncomfortable. She hesitated for a moment when he asked her name, but finally said, "It's Violet Vanek. Nice to meet you, I guess." She rubbed the back of her neck. Argent knew things that they didn't, and now he knew what they were up to, so...
"Well, look, if you want, I guess you could help us. You need help too, right? So maybe," she glanced at Donnchad, trying to gauge his reaction, "we could work together a bit."
