Personality

In his entire 12 years of life, Saren has grown up quite rapidly in some ways as quite the mature kid... and in other ways hes still just that, a kid. While at school the boy tends to be quite quiet and collected speaking only when spoken to, everywhere else his attitude is more that of a cocky, arrogant elitist. Constantly openly judging anything that doesn't meet his satisfaction, or just wanting someone to feel miserable to give himself a booster. In the end it all comes down to his feeling of superiority over all other beings. But it wasn't like Saren wasn't willing to defend his position, some kids were all talk and no action; but this one was big on both... even if his skill in that certain challenge was limited, it never stopped this boy from accepting it anyway. Towards girls he is a total sexist and proud of the fact that he is. Makkura openly speaks about how useless girls are with more intensity then Jadeite ever had, though these could of been repressed thoughts that Makkura was more open about.

As invincible as Saren tries to come off, he does have quite a few weaknesses. From girls, darkness, other psychic, girly stuff, physically taking hits, being out smarted; with all that power it seems his protection over such vulnerability's always seemed to come up missing. Perhaps it was that Saren was convinced he was the perfect being and had no weaknesses, but just thinking it didn't make such things true. Still the power he does have is used effectively in both offense and defense. Saren is convinced that the unseen force of his psychic powers is Jadeite carrying out his will through his body. It's important to note that Saren doesn't see himself as human, youma or Shitennou; but instead as a weapon built for the soul purpose of killing those that inflicted injustice on Jadeite.

Equipment

He despises weapons, as a shitennou he has a sword but its more to show rank like a badge then a melee tool. However he does have a lot of tools when it comes to lab work. Constantly experimenting and using the Dark Kingdom texts to try and find new avenues to increases his power. As for powers he has quite a few...


Usually he just uses psychic based assaults through levitation, kinetic force and manipulation of the mind. Furthermore he can rip open reality to make one way transportation slits. Like all generals he is capable of draining energy from weak civilians. As for actual attacks. A lot of Saren's attacks aren't anything more then different ways of using his psychic power, but he gives them a fancy name because he is still quite immature at heart.

Nouryoku Osen ( Mental Contamination )- If Saren can sustain eye contact for a concentrated amount of time he can invade his victims mind. Usually this just consist of massive pain like a head ache but if the hosts will is weak he can also control them like puppets to his command.

Fuantei Genshou ( Unstable Phenomenon )- As Saren fights he can draw energy off any hatred in the area. This tends to make him taunt his opponent more than the average fighter. As their hatred taints the battle field the sky and ground become saturated in the corruption. This allows Saren to release acidic rain that only the cold hearted are immune to. The ground on the other hand becomes soft tender and wont allow for solid footing. This down pour will continue until his opponent or opponents can calm back down.

Shinrei Shougaki- ( Psychic Shock Wave.)- Focus his energy into one spot between both backwards facing palms; Saren can create his most formidable assault of a impacting destruction sphere.

History

Saren is a composition of a concentrated high density energy that was accumulated during Jadeites first battles on Earth. A portion of drained power would always siphon off to one of the isshou's crystals and within it he hoped to amass a power that would rival Beryls and thus pay her back for years of unappreciative servitude.

Believing Beryl's weakness to be of the mind Jadeite combined his own blood with that of Rei Hino's since she gave off the most powerful psychic aura of anyone on the planet. During his time as "Jed" a sample was collected from the sleeping future Mars senshi and their cell's would form a dormant existence within this very crystal. With a ace in his sleeve Jadeite felt prepared for the future knowing his weapon would awaken some day to bring a new breed of dominance and authority to the Kingdom. However upon his defeat this project would never reach completion.

Trapped within a crystal yet conscience of the world, Jadeite knew full well that no amount of his power could break him away from this prison from the inside. So instead he'd focus all his power into Sarens crystal until finally it had enough to form the being inside of it and give birth to chaos in its adolescent from.

After awakening into the world, Saren found himself secluded in the depths of the Dark Kingdom's remains. Distraught, confused and alone he'd wander the place aimlessly using his psychic abilities to channel the history of each room. Time drew on and his power grew allowing Saren longer glimpses into the rooms past. One story especially (in the same room Saren had been born in) gave small bits and pieces to his actual history; this message was meant for the shitennou child but only when his powers could handle the message completely, could it be deciphered. So the boy spent his time training in the frozen arctic, perfecting the use of his mind until it became a well oiled machine.

Reaching a severe point where his body physically altered into a ascended form and physically gained 4 years of age; he was finally able to see Jadeites message in full.

My beloved creature, the one of ultimate mental perfection. Your name is Saren, I am your creator Jadeite. If you are able to retrieve this message in its entirety then you are ready to pursue the destiny I had planned for you. Regretfully I assume my death has taken place which means I wont be able to see the glory of your existence. Believe me Saren I would want nothing more to hold you in my arms if only once, but circumstances have made that possibility unlikely.

By my estimations you should be able to achieve the power to hear this message by the time you reach the age of 14. If it is later then that, do not be ashamed; in the world you're going this power is more then substantial for achieving my goals. I prepared a gate way for you, using the highest energy source your mind can pinpoint it will give you a conduit to the past. Saren I charge you with the task of destroying the next generation of our enemies before they can reach adulthood. Do not let them carry on their blood line, end their existence and use the power you gain from those battles in order to move on and destroy the original senshi. Avenge me boy, bring about the Twilight of the Bishoujo Senshi."

Using a fragment of Metalia's shattered orb, Saren was able to fuel the gate for a one way travel into the past. Arriving when he was 9, he'd study the senshi and world until reaching 102years old. Using this times Dark Kingdom as a resource he is able to carry out his creators wishes. Enrolling in the Juuban middle school and taking up the false name of Makkura Sunzinine ( Child of the dark mind.)

Makkura has tried to kill the senshi from the shadows once or twice however if he uses any kind of fatal attack with his psychic power, Rei's blood kicks into a defensive mode and takes over causing Makkura to lose all of his psychic powers and become a normal human girl for a random amount of time. He is still capable of attacking them as long as the move would not cause death.
