Power: She can cast curses on others, ranging from mild bad luck to mind numbing pain. However, whenever she casts a curse, she loses an equivalent amount of energy to the power of the curse. Her more powerful ones take time to use and cause her to abruptly faint. Theoretically, she could kill someone, but using that much energy would kill herself as well. However, the stronger Lilith’s hatred is toward her victim, the more powerful the curse is and the less blowback she receives from it. Due to her intensive self training, Lilith's body is frail and she needs a lot of food.
Personality: Lilith is a very vengeful young girl. She doesn’t forget a single injustice that she endured, and she never forgets who did it. She always seems to be on edge; hostile, on the verge of blowing up. But her anger manifests coolly, rather than with impulse. She acts as one of the tougher teenagers at the facility, and is known to not cross. Despite this, she has a sort of protective streak over the others, willing to make some sacrifices so that they don’t suffer as much.
That’s a hint at Lilith’s softer side. Her very deep down gentleness that hardly ever shows in obvious ways, but in little actions here and there. That’s the sweet kind girl she used to be, but Lilith forced herself to suppress her innocent self, to make herself stronger. This results in a cold outer shell that’s almost permanently scowling.
But what she wants most is to be loved; treasured by someone. Anyone. To be the most prized person in someone’s life. And to earn that, Lilith is prepared to do anything. Even die.
History: Lilith is the daughter of one of the staff members of the facility. He was in the dark, mostly, about what was going on, but always suspected. However, when he finally found out the truth- that the children were being experimented on and tortured, he threatened to speak out publicly. This resulted in his quick assassination and Lilith being forcibly seized from her mother and brought into the facility, at age six.
The experiments consisted of cutting, or electric torture, or even being beaten severely. Although she never screamed or pleaded, Lilith was building up intense hatred inside her heart with every second of agony she survived. At age nine, her hatred manifested into the ability to manipulate subtle things within other people, causing varying effects. She managed to create an explosion of energy, knocking all of her scientists unconscious, but Lilith then fell into a coma for three months.
At age thirteen, Lilith figured that she had trained her powers enough at night to escape back to her mother, longing for some love and affection that was taken away from her. She almost made it out but then a male guard took her. A deal was made: he wouldn’t tell Alena, and once each month, they’d have a meeting in a secret area where he can take advantage of her in many different ways. This served to intensify Lilith’s hatred, increasing her potential for even more powerful curses.
Skills: Lilith is cold and calculating, knowing how to rein in her anger and spite in order to get her revenge at a better time. She’s also very determined to escape, somehow, practicing her powers on herself at night to try and strengthen her tolerance for the blowback of her curses. She’s also skilled at hiding her emotions, as well as holding back her screams of pain, but sometimes she lets it out so she doesn’t go insane.
