The alarm rung but Suki was already awake. She had barely gotten any sleep due to the fact that she was starting her new school and not any school, Sanctuary High, the prestigious all male school. With a sigh she sat up, her hair ending up in her face. After a few minutes of staring blankly infont of her, reflecting on what she was getting herself into she stood up and she had to catch herself because she wobbled slightly. I'm so nervous I can barely stand... She sighed. This will not end well. She reached for her glasses and gently placed them on her nosebridge, her vision becoming increasingly clearer as she made her way toward her wardrobe. The uniform was hung on the door and she quickly and neatly dressed herself. She walked into the bathroom and brushed through her hair before tieing it in two lose braids. She examined herself in the mirror and sighed. She looked so plain it was almost painful. She looked around and noticed her mother's mascara. She hesitated but decided to use it, only a minor amount which was hardly noticeable but to her it made a huge difference. Her stomach was now protesting so she quickly headed down the stairs.

The kitchen smelled of toast, bacon and eggs. Her father was happily wating his breakfast behind today's newspaper and her mother placed a plate on the table just as she walked in. "Good morning mom, dad." She said in quite a monotone voice as she sat down. Her mother's usual happy voice immediately responded. "Good morning dear, slept well?" Suki only shook her head as she slowly ate her breakfast. "That's a shame, though I see you've prettied yourself up this morning. Hoping to impress the boys are we?" Her mother's voice was full of teasing and Suki almost choked as she blushed furiously. "I-I'm finished so I'll be leaving now!" She rushed for the door and quickly put on her shoes. "Bye sweetheart, see you during the weekend!" Her mom's voice echoed behind her as she shut the door.

As she approached the school she could feel the blush on her cheeks refusing to go away. She tried rubbing them but of course that just made it worse so she just grunted in defeat and gave up.

Suki was speechless. This was the school?! It looked like a castle where royalties would stay. "Wow..." She looked at her ID-card. It said gold. Does that mean I live over there? She looked at the bigger building. She hesitated and did nothing but stare at the building. Is this really a dorm? It's so fancy... She gathered courage and entered the building. She walked into the lounge and her jaw dropped. Had it been possible it would have been on the floor alongside her school bag. She adjusted her glasses and as she looked around she saw someone sitting on one of the couches and she actually yelped, slightly startled. She quickly picked up her bag, blushing yet again as she stood up. "Ah, g-good morning." She looked at the boy on the couch. He looked extremely confident, he actually intimidated her a little so she just bowed before she started making her way towards the rooms. She slowly wandered past room dors until she finally found her own name on one of them. She opened the door and once again found herself speechless, the room was amazing and all her things were neatly unpacked and stuffed away where it belonged. "What have I gotten myself into?" She breathed out.

Touya

Touya looked the girl that entered the room over very intricately. Nice brown hair, hazel eyes, same height as his little brother. Heh. She was a cute little thing, for a girl. Though he didn't enjoy her presence, so he merely ignored her. He was about to continue singing, until the thing started conversation with him. Did I give off the look I was interested in talking to you? Because I assure you, I do not wish to recognize you, let alone hold conversation. He rose up, rubbing his head, "Yes, it was quite a good morning earlier." He smiled charmingly. Then he smirked to himself as she left the room. Heh, I guess she finally got the picture that she's unwanted here. The blonde thought to himself.

He laid back down, starting to sing the rest of Mary had a little lamb. He just finished his song and was moving on to London Bridge is falling down, until he heard footsteps again. Hm, the lounge is already becoming popular and the first day has just begun. He noticed another body moving into the room, poking at the boy's interest immediately. He smirked, recognizing this one. Well, well, well. I get to have a little bit of fun before school starts after all. Touya grinned to himself, his sapphire eyes looking over Rui with a devilish intent. Now let's see if I can get you going.

He pretended to not notice the other boy, humming his next song aloud before sitting up suddenly, "You know, I'm the one who took your candy last year.." He smirked a bit at the other boy, knowing it bugged him when people took his sweets. "You're quite an easy target for someone to pickpocket, what with you always dozing off.." Then he tapped his chin for a moment, as if pondering a thought. Then his eyes got mischievous as he stared Rui down. "Hasegawa-san.." Then he pulled out an identical lollipop, "I bet you couldn't do it even if I was asleep however.." He challenged the other boy. He was sitting up straight now, eyebrow quirked at the other blonde. He only bothered the boy because he knew the boy wasn't straight. Touya actually was pretty civil towards the straight males in the school, "Does it make you mad? I've not seen you lose your cool yet.." He seemed to be interested in making others angry, it was like a pass-time of his. Touya laughed to himself a bit, "If you can steal one piece of candy from me before the day ends.. midnight of course, I'll replace all of the candy I've stolen from you.. Now make up your end of the wager if you're interested.. School's always boring on the first day~" He chimed. Touya seemed confident he would win.. and he knew Candy was definitely a soft spot, "So, up for it?" Touya was a little excited to begin, and he couldn't help but rush the other boy for an answer, "I won't hurt you, and it has to be without me noticing. Otherwise it counts as a loss on your part. Though, once it's out of my possession, if I see you pulling back from my pocket it's already too late and you win.." There's no way this kid can beat me at my own game. I've been a pickpocket for years. Touya was being friendly, too friendly. What was he planning this year?

Suki had placed herself on the bed. She did nothing, said nothing, she just sat there. She had finished her unpacking of the small things she had in her schoolbag such as photos, drawingpad and her nighlight. She had plugged the nightlight into one of the outlets in the room. She felt a bit embarrassed but she really could not sleep without it. Her photos were of her and her adoptive parents and their dog, Hamlet. Her drawingpad was filled with her mindless doodles. Some good and some awful. She mainly focused on drawing people, people who made impressions on her yet she never show it to anyone.

It had been a good fifteen minutes since she came here and by every second the anxiety grew. She was still seated on her bed and had her hand clenched together. Will I be able to make friends this time? When she was a child she was teased for being adopted so she stopped telling people. Dut to the fact she was adopted, Suki has abandonment issues and her worst fear is ti be left again. This led to her not having many friends, she just expected them to leave her aswell. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Now was the time to change but it would take time and she knew that. She looked at the time and figured it was best to leave for class. I hope I brought my schedule and the note with the directions to my classrooms on it. She rummaged through her bag and soon found it. "Great." Her anxiety lessened slightly as she left her room and made her way towards the lounge.

She heard a conversation from the lounge. She saw the boy from before, talking to another blonde, good looking boy. Though the new one looked angry so she was careful to not be seen since she didn't want to get in the middle of something. All of a sudden the new boy bursted out the door and it startled Suki. She brought her finger to her mouth and bit her lip, nervousness hitting her. What do I do? I need to get to class but if I walk out now he'll think I listened to them on purpose... She sighed and looked around and found an armchair in the hallway and she decided to sit down. I guess I'll wait a bit...

Touya

Touya was becoming more and more pleased by the second. He'd been trying to get Rui fired up, but he wasn't counting on his first attempt to work so marvelously. He absolutely deserved some sort of award for his efforts, at least he thought so anyway. He leaned back in the couch, sapphire eyes scanning the other blonde, waiting for his answer. He's definitely going to say yes. Look at the fire in his eyes.. Touya thought to himself slightly pleased with his hard work.

"Splendid!" Touya grinned happily, "There's a good sport!" He laughed, "It's been so long since I've played a good game with someone." Then he blinked, feigning innocence as he gazed upon the other boy, "Money isn't an issue here.. If I lose, not saying that I will.. I can easily replace all of the candy I've stolen over the years." He replied confidently, even if Rui couldn't hear him anymore, waving his hand to dismiss the statement. He knew the other boy had at least a few doubts in his mind. Touya was never beat in a game, merely.. disqualified or absent for the game all together. If he played, normally Touya won anything he tried. Though, even if he did lose, who was to say the person he lost to was able to live to tell the tale?

Touya noticed one of the girls introduced themselves to him and Rui, but he only acknowledged her with a smile. He wasn't interested in her.. Then he looked at his watch. Class was going to start soon. So he stood up, walking out past the girls and Rui. He was never late on the first day, but his attendance was a roll of dice afterwards.

He made his way through the halls, on his way towards his classroom, but he noticed the scenery outside through the window, stopping to admire it. It was rare, Touya stopping to appreciate the beauty in something. Hmph. Then he turned away, heading for the stairs. No time to stare at such fragile beauty. The flowers and trees will all just wither away and become ugly during the winter anyhow. He thought to himself, closing his eyes and feeling a bit irritated. Everything does. Mother, Father.. eventually we all just fade away. Human life is such a cruel joke, living long enough just to realize what you want, only to die. His expression grew colder at the thought. I don't have time to make any mistakes. A single mistake, letting someone find an inch of weakness, it could cost his whole plan for his future..something he just refused to allow.

Suki watched as the two males were having their conversation until another female entered through the hallway and into the lounge. She greeted the two male students and sat down in the couch. She looks so confident... She looked as if this was no big deal what so ever and Suki envied that. She observed the three as they sat in the lounge until she saw that the girl had noticed her and was now making her way towards her. Her eyes were torn from the girl as one of the males stormed out the door and the sudden movements startled Suki to the point that she dropped her things...again.

"Hello, I'm Lyn. Nice to meet you!" This startled poor Suki even more. Whatever she had picked up she dropped once again. She quickly gathered her things in hop of getting more time to prepare a reply. Thoush most people would find it easy to reply and know exactly what to say, for Suki this was not the case. She struggled with even introducing herself. Her things were gathered in her bag and she quickly stood up, a bit too quickly to receive a headrush, causing her to stagger. "Ah, h-hello. I-I'm Suki N-nakamura. Pleased to meet you." She bowed deeply and try to smile as she straightened up again. She hoped her first impression didn't scare her off or made her seem like an idiot.
She looked at the watch and gasped slightly. "Uhm, n-not to be rude but I, I mean we, I mean I...I really need to go to class."

Suki now saw people outside moving towards the school building and this added to her panic. She also wasn't getting an answer or reply by Lyn, the girl who was the first person to speak to her. Suki was now panicking for real. She didn't want to act mean or impolite by just leaving Lyn but she had no choice now. Her voice was filled with anxiety but she finally bowed once again before speaking. "I'm sorry! I have to leave now...I'm so sorry! She started making her way towards the hallway and the exit. Not only was she short on time, she also had to find her classroom.

She made her way across the school grounds with hurried steps while at the same time rummaging through her bag for her note with directions. She could feel the looks and stares from the male students around her and this only made her blush. This kind of attention was not what she was used to. She remembered being able to make her way through corridors without being noticed, right now she almost preferred that. "Ah, found it..." She said to herself pretty much in a whisper. She held it infront of her as she entered through the doors. The school interior was huge and she felt more panic rising up. Well, here goes nothing... She thought as she took a deep breath and taking her first step forward.

She seemed to be making her way in the right direction. She was actually smiling a little now. Maybe this won't be so bad after all. Just as she was about to make a turn, someone running in the opposite driection managed to into her side, leading to her falling and landing on her behind with a thud. "Oww." She heard chuckling and snickering from around her. Her face went bright red. Sha had managed to embarrass herself even more on the first day and on top of that, she dropped her glasses. She frantically felt around her and actually managed to find the glasses. Her earlier slightly good mood was now gone as she stood up, neatly placing her glasses back on and dusting herself off. I was wrong. Us usual. She sighed and looked up and her eyes widdened. there was her classroom. She amanged to fall on her butt right outside her classroom...great. She quietly entered the classroom and looked around but did not recognize anyone.
Her face was still flustered from her fall so she decided to take a place in the front row by the window to make it harder to see. Well atleast people wouldn't turn around to look at her but she could still feel the same looks she received before entering the school and she still did not like it.
