She lived in Calgary, Alberta, until both of her parents died when the aliens tried to take Max. They managed to capture her for long enough to replicate her DNA, but she slipped away from their grasp after she was taken from isolation. She ran away to an abandoned farm near Banff. She has resided there, since, and protected herself and any animals she finds that are hurt for whatever reason, and just trying to keep a low profile in general.
