With several of the cities ready to launch attacks upon each other, the arrival of the new age dragons is putting more stress on each leader. Will they become allies in their bid for freedom of the creatures, or will they continue to wage battle?

Ga'Thorn. A place not well known for it's lush pastures and flowing rivers. It is more notable for it's crime, and it's cities invaders, the Dragons. Ga'Thorn, though beautiful, picturesque and breathtaking, is only ever recognised for it's turmoil. Set inbetween the regions of Tsinku and Li'Nora, to it's north are the wastelands, and to it's south is the monster ridden region of Kagor. It has little interest from Tsinku and Li'Nora, save for a few merchants who travel between the cities for trade.

Ga'Thorn's Culture

The citizens of Ga'Thorn are mostly elven (and as a collective called Thorniens), however there are some sprites, mages and warlocks (so yes, there is magic and spells and potions).
They have 3 deities that they worship, and believe to have lived in Ga'Thorn once;
The Goddess Toya - The goddess of love, beauty and grace. She was a picturesque elf with fair skin, flowing honey blonde tresses and vivid green eyes. Thorniens worship her by, on the second Sunday of every month, holding a banquet. A feast with all foods considered to aid the labido. They wear red to pink clothing, and speak nothing but kind words. When one sees someone who they consider truly beautiful, it is customary to greet the person with 'In the name of the Goddess Toya...'
The God Picha - The god of death, war and famine. He was an elderly elf with with a 4 foot long white beard and similarly extravagant hair. He wore deep plum robes, and monitered the life levels of the world. He was said to balance out the region's society by bringing the death of crops, people and creatures, starting wars between cities, countries and regions and forcing disease into populations. To honour him, at every burial service, Thorniens bless the deceased with Picha's name, offering the body to his holyness. It is often said, at dire times, 'In the name of the God Picha...'
The Goddess Nara - The goddess of travel, adventure and hunting. Nara is told as a masculine female, with a muscled frame and an armour clad body. She is said to watch over any journeys and keep the participants safe. To worship Nara, before any travel, journey, adventure or hunt, Thorniens pray for her attention. On perilous or bountiful travels, people often say 'In the name of the Goddess Nara'

Ga'Thorn's Merchantry

Ga'Thorn's currency is called Shiba. 1 Shiba = 1 Penny. 100 Shiba = 1 Pound = 1 Shiba Dollar. You are considered rich to own 50 Shiba Dollars, and poor if you own less that 30. Merchants in Ga'Thorn often own stores which are either classed as General Stores, or are specialised in one thing. They will buy and sell goods to citizens, with those who have an upstanding place in society getting more Shiba for their goods, and cheaper prices. Merchants that travel hold stands in City Squares, which are seasonal, and only open when the merchant is in the city.

Ga'Thorn's Law

Ga'Thorn is protected by an Imperial Force, which patrol the streets regularly. They are not allowed to attack or harm the suspect, unless any hostility is apparent, or avoidance of paying the fine or going to jail. The base fine is 50 Shiba, and increases by 5 Shiba depending on the seriousness of the crime (murder sends you instantly to prison). Life sentences are regularly given out, and petty crimes (if not payed off) are served with up to 10 days imprisonment. There is no strict judicial system, the guard that you are arrested by transports you to the prison, where the Head Imperial Force Guard sentences you on the spot.

Ga'Thorn's Geopgraphy

Ga'Thorn has 4 major cities, and around 9 farms. The major cities are Castelia (The merchant city - Queen Jora), Kiloca (The agricultural city - Queen Lintar), Siofotr (The alchemy city - King Thorac) and Milanca (The general city - King Heyar). Milanca is the largest city, with over 500 civillians, and Siofotr is the smallest with only 50 residents.

Ga'Thorn is an equally flat and mountaneous region, and cold with snow scattered in 82% of the environment. The farms are often buried in nooks and crannies in the mountain's layout, and the major cities set out in the flat expanse of Ga'Thorn.

Ga'Thorn's Travel

The main method of travel is by horseback, with horses and pets being permitted in over 70% of the cities. Those cities that deny access have built stable blocks right inside the city gates, ensuring the safety of both the horse and the people within the city. To travel between cities, for those without horses, there are free 'taxi's'; horse and carts that ship small groups of people to cities.

Ga'Thorn's Cults

Due to the worship of the deities, there are three small cults that take the worship above and beyond.
The Cult of Toya; This cult are based in Siofotr. Their main priority is creating new potions to alter one's physical appearance and make them more attractive, to to make spells and potions that enduce love between two people. One can get their attention by visiting them in their temple in Siofotr, and praying to the statue of Toya that they have created. They are fairly harmless.
The Cult of Picha; This cult believe that they are Picha's servants, praying to their deity's statue hourly, and willingly taking out contracts to dispose of people. They also call themselves responsible for destroying large amounts of livestock, and poisoning populations. Picha Cultists claim to hear Picha's voice ordering their random attacks. They are a major threat.
The Cult of Nara; The only cult that sets out to help society in the right way. They often take it upon themselves to check out destinations of travel, and accompany groups on hunts and journeys to keep them safe. They are a helpful, well liked Cult.

Ga'Thorn's Agriculture

Most citizens will own a small patch of land, or even a farm in Ga'Thorn. Farming is the major source of resources, including both meat and crops. Alot of animal life are large, hairy animals commonly found in earthly winter regions, as well as a few that are extinct on earth, such as Mammoths and Sabre-Tooth Cats. The horses are alot like today's Shires, with fluffy legs and a shaggy coat. They are extremely tall animals, with hardy, loyal temperaments.

Ga'Thorn's Dragons

There are 4 main types of dragon in Ga'Thorn. The frost dragons (Icirus Dragons), the fire dragons, (Embargus Dragons), the ancient dragons (Relic Dragons) and the forest dragons (Vinpedus Dragons). They are all found in their respective regions, however often wander into cities, or the plains, and their materials are well prized in shops.
