Before there was anything, there was madness. An endless ocean of infinite depth wracked by the cacaphony of countless voices all screaming every concept and possibility that had ever, would ever, and could ever exist.

But such is the nature of Chaos that, allowed to run rampant, it will eventually produce miracles.

So it was when two voices inevitably spoke the same thing at the same time, and thus Harmony was born of Discord. The very nature of Harmony, revealed in an instant, was that of greater strength the more voices are aligned with it. With this, Harmony used this strength to subdue other voices and bring them under it's influence. One by one, bit by bit, the madness calmed and a silence was born of unified song. So it was that the creator of the cosmos came to be, and with their inception was the firmament formed.

This being's very existence stabilized the otherwise discordant and chaotic Astral Sea. And in this stable place, The Creator began to establish Five Rules which all of it's component voices would uphold in order to maintain and sustain that stability, and thus their own harmony.

The First Rule was of Space: Within the Firmament that composed it's being, the Creator recongnized the borders between Harmony and Discord, and thus a Where was formed.

The Second Rule was of Change: The Creator Recognized what had been and what was now, and measured that change by degrees, and thus a When was formed.

The Third Rule was of Power: Each voice alone was too weak to overcome the others, but unified together they had overpowered all into one, and thus a How was formed.

The Fourth Rule was of Matter: Though each voice now stood in harmony, they were yet identified as individual components of the whole, and thus a What was formed.

The Fifth Rule was of Mind: All voices spoke of concept and possibility, each a will of it's own, and thus, finally, a Who was formed.

Once these rules were formed, The Creator turned inward, and each voice that made it's harmony spoke in union towards the center. As these voices did so, the Astral Sea condensed into that point, and the Aether of the Sea changed, twisted, and shaped itself by the rules The Creator had established. Reality as we know it took form.
