It was fairly safe to say that Gridlock was about as surprised as a sentient android could be. Multiple titans, many basic bots, and a Juggernaut Goliath, all coming into proximity out of seemingly nowhere in the scrapyard. Maybe the heat had messed with its sensors; it should've been able to detect this army long before they were close enough to cause harm. Standing from the scrap heap it was digging through, Gridlock's scanner kicked in to see just what all was going on. The number of bots and titans were decreasing, tracing the source of the resistance back to the outskirts of a settlement area. Heat signatures betrayed the organic nature of who all were fighting.
Feeling the tremors and slight wind force from the explosions, a threat signal had come up on Gridlock's optical HUD. It debated on helping the fighters, but, comparison of the beneficial and harmful pros and cons lead to a consensus of assistance. Even though it would've done so regardless, as per the reprogramming, and the gained sentience and self-awareness gain from it. The tall, obsidian colored robot stood, seeming to only stroll to where a fight could be found. "Programming failsafes, disengage. Retrieving encrypted back-up data...Processing...Complete. Combat data retrieved and set." Gridlock spoke aloud in a synthesized, male voice, lowering its head a bit. From it's right arm, a thick blade slid out in the blink of an eye, just as swiftly splitting into three blades."Program execution begin...Time to raise hell." It spoke one more before running forward and leaping off a scrap pile, bringing down the blades into the body of a bot and tearing away. The bot was gone, and Gridlock began to viciously rip through the crowd one by one. Gridlock planned to thin out the crowd so full focus could go onto the JG.
