Captain of the Bloody Barrels
Victor has a very calm but rebellious personality. He rarely "hates" anyone, even his enemies, because they do not scare him, rather humor him with their pathetic attempts to kill him. He loves the thrill and excitment of being in a fight, and would always smile and even laugh during one. Victor has a huge obsession for rum, and can never go through a day without his trusty bottle filled with the stuff. What confuses people is about Victor's lack of love and lust for woman. They think that he was cursed but Victor would always smile when they ask and tell them: "I'm just not interested."
Victor and his crew has a strong bond--a friendship that will be nearly impossible to break. Although he is the captain, he shouts orders as a friend and uses the bad words for joking. If you see the serious side of Victor Killbane, then you must of done something that completely moved him or completely annoyed him. Beware.
He loves the Teschato Ocean for it's violent weather and challenges when comes the storm.
The weapons he uses are the same as any member of the Bloody Barrels crew. The trademark pistols, same old sword. The only different thing is that Victor keeps a dagger hidden in his boot, just in case.
Victor's past is something he does not like talking about and something he hates with a passion. You see, he was not always called Victor Killbane. He was born with the name Jack Coldbane, who lived with a family who loved him. He grew up with his parents and no siblings in an island near the Teschato Ocean. A perfect life, until it happened.
When young Jack was 16, his village was attacked and ransacked by pirates. The pirates had shot his father through the head and kidnapped his mother. Jack had been dragged to their ship to "be taught a lesson", because he had used his dinner knife to stab a pirate in the leg in revenge for his father.
And he was indeed, taught a lesson. He was stripped of his shirt and whipped till he lost consciousness. Then they tossed him overboard to drown. But that didn't happen. He had just enough strength and grip on the world to grab onto a floating barrel and clench onto it till he was back on land. But before he even drifted away, he heard one certain sound that sent chills down his spine and turned his heart black--the sound of his mother screaming, coming from the ship. The screams haunted him, and he did not have to ask to know what the dirty pirates were doing to her.
Poor little Jack---lost, heartbroken, and alone---had no reason to live. That was the first time he tried out rum, and became roaring drunk. Barely conscious of his actions, he spent the next weeks talking to random people and gathering a small crew. His plan for his life was crazy and useless but it was the only thing to grip onto. After having a crew of 10 men, who afterwards became his best friends, the young band of pirates waited on the dock for 7 days and 7 nights, and their luck came. An amature pirate crew sailed in on the island during night and attempted to rob the village. They had all hopped off the ship and ran into the village. It was pathetic, but a great way to start. Jack and his small crew climbed on the ship, an enormous East Indiaman, who surprisingly had no one watching over it. They sailed away, accompanied by the oaths and curses of the pirates they left on the dock.
Jack's plan was nice and simple: kill all pirates in revenge for his parents. His crew didn't know of this. It was a plan that made no sense, but it fed his hunger and his pain. He would stay away from plundering villages. He would only attack pirates and steal from them. And of course, be the one to discover the huge treasure hiding away somewhere.
His crew and he have been known to be "cheaters" by their style of fighting. They have the habit of using mainly pistols in battles, instantly winning fights, but hey, they're pirates.
That was when Jack changed his name to "Victor Killbane", to hide his original identity and also a taunt to the ones to told him "You're not just cold, you're a killer!". The crew was later named "Bloody Barrels" by their use of gun powder from barrels, and the blood splattered all over them. They also changed the name of the ship to "Devil's Angel."
10 years later, Victor and his crew are still sailing the seas, killing and robbing. Along the way, a few more friends joined them.
