"Oh... alright. Everything okay?" Tony asked, worried.

"What?" Cam asked, a smile came over his face. "You're lying."

"No," Fox assured. He lifted up Jasmine's left hand to reveal a white-gold engagement ring. "I was never much of a liar, Cameron. That was... your thing." Cam's smile fell and he glared at Fox. "Oh come on. It isn't like you wanted her anyway. I know all about your little murder fiasco with her."

"I don't know why you think I care," Cam said in a flat voice. Fox shrugged.

"My apologizes. I thought that maybe for a moment I heard your heart beat."

"Okay. Don't forget... This is a hospital. Quiet down!" Koko scolded.

"Lets face it, Cam, she's better off without you. I can keep her safe," Fox touched Jasmine's hand.

"Well, good luck with that." Cam turned and stepped out into the hallway. Tess and Brian were outside talking by an elegant fountain.

"Cam! About time!" Tess laughed when she spotted him. Her face changed when she saw his expression.

"She's engaged?" Cam asked Brian. "You knew?"

"Cam..."

"You knew she was alive... and you knew she was engaged. You didn't even tell me?" Cam continued walking to the elevators. Brian followed close behind.

"Cam, you weren't safe. Jasmine wasn't safe either." Cam turned before entering the elevator. His stare was cold and emotionless.

"When you decide that you want to give a shit about me again, don't bother because when you do... I'm going to blow your fucking brains out." He walked onto the elevator and disappeared.
