Solin Town is a farming town, with rich soil, a bright sun and cute little rivers that run under skillfully built stone bridges. There is a mill that provides the water for the town well and for the crops, and there's the creepy little Dead House.
The Dead House...?
It's only the place where Auriel lives. He's frightening, he really is.
He is the son of the Grim Reaper himself, and that's why he has taken the place of executing the townspeople. Normally, a Reaper is trained to not be biased in any sort of way, but Auriel was never trained. He began his duties at a very young age.
He thought he was alone in the world, but, as he finds out, there are two more reapers in Solin Town alone.
Auriel begins learning from them that there are mystical beings, who call themselves Deity Knives. They were originally supposed to protect people from the natural death that the Reapers bring, but ended up bringing humanity to their knees.
