Crystal Cave

Laine walked through the gates and was headed toward the school building, when Sasori chimed in; "Hey, shouldn't you go ta crystal, to see if Anyones there?" "Uh...Yeah, I guess." He turned around and headed toward the cave. He walked In and said (almost yelled) "Hey Suzu!". Most of the guardians, had different personalities, and his was kind of a laid back "Dude" kind of guy, usually leaving most of the work to be done by the queen. It's nit that he doesn't mean well just that he couldn't do that kind of work for the life of him. He more or less handled the guardians public relations, with the student body, and the community.

Suzume cringed; the cove had a horrible habit of echoing and amplifying somethings sometimes. Then, she winced slightly--Aoi's greeting had, at this point, become somewhat normal.

"Morning Laine, Aoi," hardly looking up before slamming the approval stamp onto the sheet of paper. She then proceeded to shove the rest of the stack--which was a good portion of it as Suzume also hated paper work with a passion-- in Aoi's direction. Kicking up her heels on the table and leaning back would have been her next course of action had not she be wear a skirt. Curse you skirts!

"The usual really. Nothing much is going on at this time of year. Oh and, you two got love letters...again." Two floral scented, pink, rose-decorated envelopes were tossed in their respective receiver's direction. "A few girls waited for me at the front gates and told me to give them to you. It seems that the ones dropped in lockers, passed through class, and placed on desks never really made it."

Now, Suzume wondered, where were the Ace and Princess?

Seishin looked at Laine and then Suzume. Laine had a huge ego and Suzume was really a free, cunning, parkuor-lover who hid this. She blinked and then looked at Aoi pushing her glasses up. Aoi who usually did the king and queen's job was sort of like her but he never really seemed to care about anything but being the best unlike her who liked to sing but of course she hid this. She blinked and looked at all the papers he was doing and she felt bored so she took the rest of them and gave him a emotionless look saying. "I'll do these I have nothing better to do." this was what she normally said 'nothing better to do'. She then looked at the papers and started to do them almost done.

Quinn blushed more and pouted playfully. He didn't like to be called little (even though it's true). He took a stray chair, sat on it, and continued to finish eating his meat bun. "H-hey there, Laine...,"he trailed off as Mr. Bee walked in,"Mr. Bee!" He instantly perked up and ran t the childish teacher, smiling.

"Why hello Xu Xu,"he replied to the young boy. He glance around the room, seeing the kids that showed up. "So, who isn't hear yet...I think it may be the Ace." Bee tried to look serious, but was horribly failing. He put on big smile as he sat in another empty chair. He glanced over to Aoi."Love letters again, Aye?" He chuckled to himself as he stood to walk out again. "I'll be back later. I have to go talk to a new transfer student."

Quinn looked over to Seishin and Tenshi. "Sorry there...I-I didn't mean t-t-to wake you up..."

"I'm here, I'm here, I'm here!"

'Fashionably' late as usual, Miyoko burst into the room at such a speed that the only thing that prevented her from crashing into something was sheer luck. Poor Miz, who remained perched on Miyo's shoulder even at school, looked as frazzled as someone like her could be.

"S-Sorry I'm late, I...I..." she took a seat, catching her breath before she continued. Despite how much running she did these days, Miyo wasn't very in-shape. Once she could breathe easy again, she became silent, as if she had forgotten what she was about to say. Of course, since we're talking about Miyoko, you might as well just take out that 'as if'.

"...Miyoko." Miz whispered.

"Hm? What's up?"

"You were explaining yourself."

Another silence set in, but this one lasted all of three second.

"Oh, yeah! You'll never guess what I saw today! I was walking to school, and I saw the cutest li'l caterpillar ever! I named him Harry, 'cause he looked all fuzzy. See what I did there? 'Cause Harry sounds like hairy, which means...well, anyways, I was gonna bring him with me to school, but I didn't want to touch him. I mean, he was cute, but he was still all squirmy and stuff! I tried to get him to go in my bag, but he was way more interested in eating some leaf. I even tried to give him some of my lunch, but he liked that leaf way better! I figured that must mean leaves are super-tasty, so then I ate a leaf, and it was definitely not super-tasty! Then me and Harry got into this big fight...well, he was giving me the silent treatment, but I know exactly what was going through his mind! But I think I won, 'cause eventually he crawled away." Miyoko put her hands on her hips proudly.

"Yep, that'll teach caterpillars to argue with me!"

Miz sighed, "Basically, Miyoko got distracted on the way to school today. We apologize for our tardiness."

"My my, both of you are quite late today. Most of the paper work has been finished already." Que sparkling smile; oh how disgusting. Then mention of a new transfer student caught her attention but quickly decided that she could just meet him-or-her later.

"Don't worry Miz, not to be offensive, you two are usually late. Oh and," she turned in her chair to wave at the leaving Quinn," Make sure you get here on time in the afternoon!"

At this point, Aoi should not be expecting any response on the skirt subject. Rather, Suzume adjusted her cape back into it's correct position; the cape always seemed to like to move about and show her arms. With these movements, it was as if an unspoken message was relayed; time to get going. Unfortunately, it seemed like Mao had a different idea.

"Oh come on Suzu!" Mao seemed to have another idea today,"You don't always have to leave soooo early. I mean, we could leave late and cut through the elementary building 3rd class room window sil and up- Hey! Where ya going?!" Mao floated after her guardian, Suzume already at the entrance way.

Mao's suggestion was very very tempting for Suzume, but it was a risk to her queenly image.

Miyoko waved happily to Quinn, mouth full of DELICIOUS SAMMICH. Normally, nothing would keep her from savoring a DELICIOUS SAMMICH, but the subject of the new transfer student seemed to interest her. Her eyes lit up immediately, and said DELICIOUS SAMMICH was gone in a gulp.

"Ooh, a new transfer student~?" she beamed. "What's he like? Is he one of those really cool transfer students, or is he one of those spooky transfer students?" Miyoko asked, making sure the word 'spooky' sounded extra spooky.

"Wait, wait, wait, don't tell me! I wanna meet him myself! No, wait, do tell me! The suspense is tearing me apart! Sheesh, this is a tough decision. Well, I guess it doesn't matter. Cool or spooky, the new guy has to be interesting! It's, like, a law for transfer students!"

"Or he could just be a normal kid..." Miz said under her breath.

"Oh, boy! My first meeting with a transfer student...and a mysterious one, at that! ♥" Miyoko jumped up out of her seat, hands clasped and smile wide. "I can't wait until we become best friends!"

"Miyoko, it doesn't seem like this new student is going to want to be your best friend..." Miz frowned. She knew trying to calm Miyoko down was useless, but trying was a hard habit to break.

"Nonsense! I bet he's just gloomy about the move! Besides, nothing is impossible when friendship is involved!" Miyoko declared, voice overflowing with confidence.

"Ah, Miyoko...you watch far too much television..."

Mr. Bee just laughed at Laine's nickname for him and Miyoko's reaction. He took out a small, crumpled piece of paper with small black writing. "Ahh...,"he started,"The name is Seichii Abyss. He''s from America, but his mother was Japanese, so he can speak it." He looked at his watch and his eyes, almost, popped out of his sockets. "Oh shoot! I should be over at the gates by now!" Before he ran out the door, he turned his head to the others. "Well are you coming?"

Quinn immediately stood up, almost knocking his chair down. "I knew it!"he yelled out, but blushed afterwards and started to mumble. "I-I-I c-coming..." He stood over by the Adviser and waited for the others to follow.

Miyoko skipped over, humming a happy little tune as she did. Miz was so silly...she just didn't get it! The power of friendship never failed, like, ever! Except for when it did...but that's where the power of love would come in. Okay, yeah, she got all of this from TV...but TV would never lie!

Meanwhile, Miz already had a bad feeling about this.

For some reason, today Miyoko managed to get to the Cove on time. Oh, but not JUST on time...she was early! Apparently, even 'spooky' transfer students have a positive effect on her. She even planned on doing all of her homework today! Well, okay, maybe we're going a little overboard now...

Feeling good, she ran into the cove, arms outstretched like the wings of an airplane. Miyoko 'flew' over to the table, eyes closed as to let her imagination wander. When she finally sat down and opened her eyes, she nearly fell over in shock from seeing Emo!Quinn. Her eyes quickly widened with concern.

"Oh my gosh! What happened, Xu-Xu? Are you okay?!"
