Kayla is generally an outgoing girl, and has no problem speaking her mind wherever the place or whatever the time, and due to this is evidently quite talkative which does get a bit irritating at times. She will always be the one in the group up for doing some out of the ordinary and challenging. Finding her in a strop or down is something fairly rare, instead she will always be trying to keep others in the same up lifting mood. It's something about the thrill and excitement she gets from doing new things that she loves. It's also this same attitude in life that has made her not take things too seriously, unless it really does interfere with her life. Her parents have always told her to try and set a goal in life, something to achieve or at least have a stable career however she's always brushed them off wanting to do something in the unknown being one of the reasons she decided to move to the big city of New York. She tends to stay mutual in any form of arguments, since disputing isn't something she's very fond of. However if someone does irritate her to a certain extent, then she isn't too far behind in passing her own comments. As much as she may be a genuinely nice and caring girl, she can make enemies just as quick as she makes friends. She prefers staying out and having a good time rather than being confined to the house with her friends. Despite her chatty personality, Kayla tends to keep very quiet when it comes to her life, and is quite secretive with her problems, hardly willing to share them with anyone no matter how close they are. Another quality is how stubborn she can be, whenever Kayla decides something she tends to stay adamant on it and will hardly do anything that she doesn't want to. So whenever anyone does try force some sort of power upon her or restrict her on doing something it will rub her in the wrong way. When it comes to her love life, it's something that Kayla will never open up about. In fact she doesn't even like the idea of love too much, she believes in being independent as she believes a woman should be without a man and actually having a free life without the commitment. She's always believed that relationships don't last very long and those that do have some form of motive behind it. This bitter feeling toward relationships mainly comes from her past, even if it had been years ago. After that she's never really took much of a liking to any guy, though she may decide that here and there a guy is interesting but will never make it serious.

They previously used to live back in their home town, Orange County in California but moved her recently cause she wanted to try something new and he had his own ambitions. Their family came from the suburbs of Newport Beach, where they had a comfortable life nothing too well-off but enough with a fairly large house in the residence. There were numerous community ties with her parents works, being the reason that Kayla new a fair amount of people in the town and between the two siblings had numerous friends. She studied close to home throughout her education years up till college, only after her brother finishing did they both make the mutual decision to move to the busy city of New York and reside in Manhattan. Kayla never really had a set career for her, and simply did her basics in a business course but never pursued it with anything further. She had much preferred just going with the flow and see where life brought her. So when she came to Manhattan it wasn't that hard finding work in some place she was comfortable in, and didn't mean too much office work.
