In this roleplay, there are two distinctive races. The Desthli, who currently suffer from the Willkian plague, are usually red to orange and covered in fur. Their hands are claw- like and their feet are shaped like pegs, forcing them to create unique shoes. Their faces are like that of a bear except with long horns. This race holds honor and weaponry as it's number one concern. Their connection with the gods also makes them quite potent in murii (magic). They are a short yet sturdy race. Their short comings are in technology. While they create amazing airships, they haven't done well with cannons or guns.

On the other hand, the Kiori are a race of lavender, long haired people. They are suffering from the Duixinos plague. These creatures are tall and have long, slender fingers. In the early periods, they would hunt along the endless islands using bows. These days, they have refined guns and cannons beyond the skill of the Desthli. However, they cannot use magic and are not as talented when it comes to actually using a weapon. Their airships are also less efficient. At the same time, they're incredibly tall and nimble.

There was a time before the airship when these two races knew nothing of eachother. The people would make bridges across the floating islands to supply food, lumber and water to the growing cities. Now, the two races can make cities out of metal that float like the islands, and guns that can carve holes in wood just using steam.

Reluctant trade kept these races allies for a bit, but upon the turn of the 5th period, mysterious illnesses struck both races, and each decided the only thing they had come in contact with was the culprit. Our war begins here.
