Introduction

In, Nome Alaska, during times of dog sleds was the only way to get thing to other place, It was also dangerous because of the wolves that lurked in the woods waiting for anything to kill in an instance, there was so groups of them that always fought for territory, or even just death. The first pack was always pure white wolves, known as, Light, they was always able to track any live creature miles away, and kill them. The the second pack, was only black or very dark colored wolves, known as, Shadow Wolves, they killed anything insight not worrying what it may be. These two packs hated each other deeply and if crossed they would have the need to fight each other to the death. But soon after mates on each side became harder to find and they began to mate with their enemies, the alpha's hated this and killed or kicked out the 'half-breeds', The surviving new breeds, was soon considered, Outsiders. Some old Outsiders moved more to civilization, and mated with Husky, making wolf hybrids that was hated by most humans.

Snowstorm played around in a clearing in the woods, not really knowing if she was in a pack's territory or not. She stopped playing and walked over to the nearby lake to get a drink of water. Her figure could show she wasn't full wolf, she looked like her mother, in form wise and she had her father's fur and eye color, She thought for a moment about her family but then got over it soon enough, until she lookedat herself in the water "hehI really look like a husky, don't I?" Snow said to herself softly as she continued to drink the ice cold water.

Shade growled once more at his father, "I told you I dont want to be the alpha." he said, his eyes narrowed. His father snarled at him, throwing across the ground. "Listen to me runt. I am not letting you in this pack cause I want to.. it's more because I have to. There's nobody else that shares the same blood as me." he said growling. Shade got up, looking at his father straight in the eye, "Then I'll leave the pack myself." he said sick of hearing his father say the same thing over and over. His father snarled once more, "You're not going anywhere!" he demanded. "And you know you cant. We can easily find you no matter where you go." he said threatening. Shade snapped at his father's face before walking out of the cave. His father's red eyes seemed to glow in the dark, but that didnt scare Shade.

Snow thought that she smelt a rabbit, and then heard her stomach growl. Alice made her way to the smell, but when she got there she saw wolf look at the rabbit and then walked away "That was a close one" She said softly, then started to chase afterthe rabbit quickly, not knowing if she was going to draw attention to herself by trying to chase the rabbit.

Tense sniffed the air and looked over to see another wolf. "Hey, oh never mind." He said and put his head on his paws. "I don't want to be Alpha, why did he have to go and die leaving his only son to be the alpha. "Damn." He said sadly and let out a long drawn out sad howl. "I don't want to be the Alpha!" He screamed and snapped his jaws on the rabbit.

He walked through his pack, eyes looking down at the ground. Some wolves actually snapped at his legs but backed away as his eyes glared at them. There was something about Shade that can scared the guts out of people. Maybe his dark colored eyes that seemed to suck people in to his glare. His pack growled at the sound of a howl that echoed through the forest. "The Light pack's alpha eh?" he heard one of them crackle. Shade shook his head and walked away from his pack grounds.
