Luna Simon's Story

Jack saw that Ellie took the pill easily and slowly but surely, he took the pill and drank the water. Jack felt like he was going to choke on it but he soon swallowed, can't believing that he did that. After that happened, he felt his head losing a little bit of the pain. He didn't know how that happened, but glad that the headache was fading. "These sure are some odd items they have." thought Jack. Jack looked up at Ellie hearing her, but the problem was that his eyelids wasn't responding. He tried to keep his eyes open but he slowly rested his head down on the table and fell asleep.

David had been silent during the majority of the meeting. Not feeling it was needed nor his place to speak up. Something he picked up in the military. During a debriefing you shut up and pay attention. Now that things seemed to be winding down however it seemed the right time for Grayson to speak up.

"Miss Ravie. The ground rules you set are simple enough and I'll make sure they're followed to the letter by myself and the rest of the staff. As far as the cellar I can make regular sweeps nearby to ensure no one is attempting to enter it beside you or any company you may be bringing along. That being said I do have a couple concerns if you don't mind..."

He said, his keen bright eyes falling on each of the Ravie sisters in attendance. They locked on Ava's with her captivating, ocean blue eyes that seemed to be calling you to lose yourself in the cool waters. They fell on the young Charlotte's shadowy gems, illuminating the darkness. The met Dannie's evenly, her unique crimson gaze finding no fear in the sharp stare of the Ex Navy Seal. Then finally resting on the twin sea pearls of Ellies, matching her sister Ava's in nearly every way yet still having a motherly warmth unique to her alone.

"You hired me to protect you, your family and your employees Ms. Ravie. You hired me to keep them safe. I can't do that if I don't know what I'm protecting them from."

David paused for a minute with a slow sigh as his eyes flicked to Salem and Luna before returning to Ellie.

"A firearm was found in a dresser drawer this morning miss. No lock, no safety. I'm sure you understand why that gives me pause. Someone could have been killed. I'm well aware you don't want precious family heirlooms and belongings bothered and I respect that but at the very least if I could be appraised of the locations of any more weapons around the household I can ensure they are given a wide berth by the staff to avoid any accidents throughout the completion of their duties during the day."

David's tone was serious without seeming dark or demanding. His words and demeanor were of the utmost professionalism as he tried to impress upon his new employers the importance of what he was asking. The subject matter warranted the absence of lightness or a jovial tone. It was merely a neccesity for the security of the residents of the home. He was aware that in the short time he'd been at Ravie manor he'd seen a few things that unsettled him but guns laying around where Dannie, Charlotte or one of the younger children could stumble on them was a recipe for tragedy.

Jack started to mutter in his sleep before being heard more clearly, "N-No thanks....room....clean....nngh....snakes...zzzzzz..." Jack started to snore a little before slidding off the chair and sleeping face first on the floor.
