((Hi, N!ghtmare_Tra!n. Glad to see you back in action! =D you were sorely missed.
Now.. I've made the hospital a place. So post there.))

Jamie considered the thought of a cinnamon bun. "Actually-"
"Jamie!"

[Avalon]

The fox suddenly shuddered. A strong and sudden excited emotion made her fur stand on end. She couldn't quite communicate as well as if she'd been right next to her Thread, but a wave of emotion managed to get to her. What was going on? The fox would storm the hospital if she could, take everyone down if it meant Jamie's safety. But it seemed like a positive excited. So she waited, hesitantly pacing, wishing she could talk to Jamie.

[Jamie]
"You might want to tell him to keep it down... You never know who's listening." Scott eyed the people of the lobby. Jamie stood up, her face clearly showing the shock she felt.
"Greyson!" The word slipped from her mouth, loudly. Then repeated it, taking Scott's warning, and this time quieter. "Greyson.."
He was dressed as one of the doctors, though missing some components. He must've disposed of them or something..
She stood up as he stopped at where they were sitting. "You're here," her voice echoed disbelief and hesitation. He was. Standing there.. at the back or her mind she wondered vaguely where Coad was. Then she stopped thinking and went up and hugged him tightly. Like if she let go she'd lose him again.
"I missed you. But you were so close, this whole time," she half whispered to herself. Thoughts had even crossed her mind that he was dead. An attempt from Avalon to get her to move on.. it probably would've just brought her into depression. She stepped back, trying to regain her composure. Jamie was surprised at the familiarity.. he looked the same. Of course, it hadn't been too long, but still. Things change over time, and with Jamie's mind, things changed even faster.

((Haha great to be back guys!! I really missed roleplaying!!))

After he'd yelled out, Greyson had received a warm welcoming back from his old friends, and he noticed a few new faces as well.
"You might want to tell him to keep it down... You never know who's listening."
Greyson nodded to the man, a little older looking than the group of high schoolers, and glancing over his shoulder, but it seemed all the doctors were preoccupied with Alex.
"Greyson! You're here!" Jamie exclaimed, giving him a tight hug. He smiled and hugged her back, not wanting to ever let go. Greyson hadn't truely admitted it to himself how much he'd missed Jamie, but he had. Every second of the day, he was wanting to see her again, and to return to STA. But the time wasn't right, and he had enjoyed the time away.
Sooner than he wanted, Jamie pulled away. "I missed you. But you were so close, this whole time," she said quietly.
Greyson nodded. "Yeah, I have to drive past STA everyday to get here," he said, trying not to be awkward, but failing miserably. A boy- a new kid, by the looks of it- came back to join them with a cinnamon bun from the Cafeteria. Focusing back on Jamie, so full of questions, managed to ask just one, "What the hell happened?"

Coad was curled up on Greyson's bed on the farm, patiently but boredly awaiting his return. The Thread hated staying home while he was at his normal highschool, then going straight to work at the Collins' Hospital. Coad missed all his friends back at STA.
The wolf blinked, lifted his head and yawned, then stretched while he glanced out the window. Something pricked his neck fur, like a sixth sense. Coad hopped off the bed and put his paws up against the glass, looking for anything but cows grazing in the field.
He padded out of the room, and through the house out the backdoor. It was getting late, and Greyson should have been getting home soon, but something told the wolf his Thread might take a little longer. Excitement pored through Greyson to Coad as he stood in the field behind the farm house.
Greyson, what's going on over there... Coad thought as he stared off in the direction of Collin's Hospital.

((Excellent. Well, there's plenty of that to do around here xD Hmm. Kit_Kat, perhaps just have Sebastian chill in Oregon. Not much for him to do now. Hooray for cinnamon buns! By the by, pipzel, I'll include a summary for you in this post =D))

Jamie moved her shoulders uncomfortably. So many ears were around. They didn't need to be hearing this story.
But she had to tell him..
"Listen. After you left, after Vincent was downed, there was another problem. Some guy named Sebastian Vandara. We saw him in the paper.. quite recently. We were studying up about him, because he's some sociopath who's been experimenting on children. The paper claimed him to be a revolutionary scientist working to help the world, but those are lies. He's taking kids from the STA." A fearful edge crept into her voice. "He brought Melonie to the nurse. Alone. She started talking to him, but he didn't know she had her phone out. We were able to listen to the whole conversation. He was using her to .. capture .. someone in the group." She pointedly left out that she had been the target yet again. "Then he left, we went out to find him, he kidnapped Melonie and took her to her old house. She tried to escape but she was shot in the leg. She's back at the academy getting help. Alex came in sometime and was shot... trying to rescue her."
Jamie summarized quickly. Then she sort of laughed. "It's funny, almost. You haven't been gone for too long, but so much has happened." She exhaled. She could very faintly hear Cage chewing food behind her, and she realized that none of them had eaten anything but breakfast that day. "We've been through .. kinda.. a lot. It's more than great to see you again." Some stares from the people behind her reminded her that she need to stop socializing and get back down to business.
"Do you know how Alex is doing?"

[Avalon]

What the hell is she doing?
Avalon snapped suddenly. She continued to pace. The emotions she was feeling were overwhelming. Anxiety, shock, excitement.. and some other emotion that Avalon had never felt before. It seemed natural to want to deny them, but her mind was drowned in the pure rush of everything. One downside of a Thread. She was working on flattening her fur, so it wouldn't look like she would pick a fight. Even if these felines gathered around her lived a comfortable, human life, they held onto certain animal traits. She was surprised that Tala and Shinta hadn't ripped each other to pieces.
It might just be me and my short temper. A low growl emitted from Avalon's throat as she stared at the hospital. She would give anything to be there with Jamie..

((I have to agree... that reentry was brilliant.))
Greyson was here the whole time?! Go figure! Well, I'm glad that kid's back. Andra smiled. Seeing people enjoying each other's company just made her happy. That was one reason she used to always blend into the background. She was content to watch other people interact with each other and have a great time that way, since it didn't matter if she was in the middle of everything.

She had received a cinnamon bun from Cage and thanked him, devouring the sweet treat in a matter of seconds. She had just realized how hungry she was.
For the time being, avoiding staring at the reunited pair as Jamie updated Greyson on everything was all there was to do, so Andra waited, trying to see if she could connect with Prince at all. It hadn't been very long, but she could at least feel his slight anxiety at being apart for so long.

I can only imagine how Coad's feeling, wherever he is. Oh that confused wolf. She grinned again, then her mood became serious as she heard Jamie ask about Alex.

"I'll go first. I think I'm the least conspicuous..." Eve ran towards the school, Kerwin on her shoulder, and easily slipped inside. Then she turned and motioned for the other two to follow after seeing that the coast was clear.
Lukas and Huma followed Eve through the doors of the school, Damon following close behind with Melonie.
"Okay, we're good. I think we should rush, too. Just to sound slightly out of breath from our rigorous trek back to the school to get Melonie here some help," Lukas suggested. Then they started walking briskly towards the nurse's wing of the academy, just short of a jog so the unconscious girl wouldn't be disturbed too much. Fortunately the halls were empty, save one girl they passed who was going the opposite direction with some soda. No Thread was in tow, so Lukas assumed it was in the girl's room. She glanced at the group in shock as they walked by, but they mostly ignored her and continued walking without regard to her.

((Okay, Lux_Disraeli! I just kinda linked it to you. Maybe Erynn would follow, but I'm not sure, so I just mentioned that they passed your character. =D [side note: I hope this is okay! I will gladly omit that if necessary.]
I just had a realization, too... Where's Rue again? Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but I don't think the little cat's been mentioned for a while... heh.))

((There's not much to do with Jamie. I'm going to move the story along.))

Jamie finally stood up and looked around. "I'll be right back."
She slipped away from the group and found the welcome desk. The lady looked up at her. "How can I help you?"
Her tone was uncertain.
"Yes. I understand this is an unusual request. However, I would like to have my friend, Alexander Graham, in room 260 for his his recovery."
The woman grew irritated. "Look, I can't and won't do that. I have no authority to move rooms, much less room 260!"
Jamie sighed and reached for something in her back pocket. She showed the woman, who paled and picked up the phone.
"Yes.. Alexander Graham.. room 260 for recovery. Yes. Yes. I know, it's important. Now.. yes. Yes. Thank you." The lady nodded sheepishly as she turned around and strode with the authority of her father.
"Guys. Let's get out of here. We're going upstairs," she announced promptly. Without waiting, she turned around and went into the elevator. She received a few uneasy glances as people left the elevator. When everyone filed inside into the small box, Jamie pushed the buttons "260" and then held down 6. The elevator sped upwards, and stopped abruptly with a small bing. When Jamie released the 6, the doors opened. The room that was revealed was huge. The elevator connected straight to the room. No doors were visible.
Jamie walked forward, and opened the curtains and blinds. Light penetrated the room. It looked more like a hotel suite than a hospital room. Though a sort of gurney lay against the wall, with several couches, a sink with sanitary soap, and a small bathroom. "This is room 260, guys. Alex will be coming here after surgery. I doubt Vandara will know how to get here.." sensing that an explanation was needed, she muttered, "My father helped to fund the hospital. He convinced the architect to include this room for himself or family. That included me. I've been here numerous times.."
She sighed. "Make yourself at home."

Well, Andra figured by the West mansion that Jamie was rich, but this? This was ridiculous! A large room, a safe one, at that, which would hold all of them and the others who were coming from the STA.
She missed Prince, though.
"Well thanks for this, Jamie. This is fantastic!" She grinned, finding a place to sit again. The furniture in here was much more comfortable than the hospital lobby, and she felt like she could relax for a while. "But I'm curious, what do you think we should do about Avalon, Shinta, Prince and Tala? I feel bad leaving them out there. And it's also pretty weird not having them around."

[Lukas]

Holy crap... Lukas gaped at Aevis/Zeke's wings. It was ridiculous. They didn't even fit in the hallway, but the silvery feathers were simply astounding by themselves. Lukas didn't really look at art very much. He was more of a musical guy, being a drummer and all. But he figured an artist would have a wonderful time sketching the fine details in Zeke's feathered wings.
Eve was just as stunned, and left to check on Melonie. Fortunately, the nurse had gone before Zeke decided to show his wings. Smooth move on his part, waiting until then to show them what was probably one of his biggest secrets.
"I'm not sure flying will be a good idea. we might just have to go in the normal way... Besides, breaking the news to everyone that you're a Thread and a human in the same body by flying through a window might cause an uproar. Besides, Huma tells me Coad doesn't want to fly." He shrugged. "If we walk fast we should get there in maybe an hour, if that."

Melonie and Eve then emerged from the nurse's office. By now, Aevis/Zeke had taken Eve's advice and hidden his wings again. Lukas was astounded at their ability to be hidden so well. Melonie was groggy, but still awake and on crutches.
"Hey, Melonie. We'll probably have to carry you. No offense, of course, but we need to meet up with everyone at the hospital. Eve said it before, and I'll gladly say it again: It's not safe here."
The girl nodded tiredly, and Lukas assumed that Eve had just woken her up.
"Alright, let's go, everyone!" He and Huma led the way out of the school, some small talk springing up along the way. Lukas was distracted though. He couldn't wait to explain to Andra everything that had happened, and to be safe with the team again.

((OKAY. I just had to get that group out of the academy. So now they're headed to the hospital, where the larger threads will meet up with each other, Kerwin will sneak in, and everyone will be together as friends should be. Plus Erynn and Aevis/Zeke.))

Still in his scrubs, Greyson followed the crowd and rode the elevator up, standing beside Jamie. When the thick metal doors pulled open, the hospital room seemed to be more like a five-star hotel suite. Even after the time Greyson spent working at Collin's Hospital, he'd never even heard of room 260.
"This is room 260, guys. Alex will be coming here after surgery. I doubt Vandara will know how to get here.." Jamie said, walking forward and opening the window. She paused before continuing. "My father helped to fund the hospital. He convinced the architect to include this room for himself or family. That included me. I've been here numerous times.." Jamie sighed. "Make yourself at home."
Greyson walked in after her, wondering if Jamie had been here mulitple times because of family, or because of herself. He shook off the thought, his mind wandering to Coad. He'd left the wolf at home all day, but now Greyson felt a tension across the Thread bond; Coad had adrenaline running through his veins. Wherever he was, Greyson hoped nothing serious was happenng.

Coad nodded his thanks to Huma for telling his Thread his problem with flying. The strange boy had folded his wings back, and Coad was starting to relax again. The wolf waited and tried to think of who he would travel with. It seemed that Lukas and Huma were already leading the way out, while Eve was waking Melonie. Coad had overheard some English that the wounded girl would be carried, not flown, so it seemed it would be safe to lead the winged boy to Collin's Hospital. Zeke wanted to speak with his Thread, so the wolf felt the responsibility to stay with him.

((WOAH, weird. I came on 1 min. And 1 sec after N!ghtmare posted. Haha.))

Jamie nodded slightly. "It's not a problem. As for our Threads.. well, I don't want to leave them outside. They're unprotected. But we can't bring them here, either." She glanced at Cage. She'd heard him murmur something to himself earlier. "If the group is returning, then maybe we'll meet up. And unless we want to sleep on the floor, this room won't hold all of us." Jamie figured the options were to return to the STA and risk their safety, try and sneak the Threads in and risk being kicked out, or worse, reported. Or try and deal being apart with each other. Yet that was the most dangerous plan. If Vandara were to somehow get to their Threads during the night, they'd be dead on the floor the next morning. Jamie thought about it, also sitting down in a chair. The room presented a nice view of the street- although not the side where the Threads were sitting. Jamie could faintly feel the anxiety expressed by her fox.
"I don't think we should split up anymore, either. Strength in numbers. Though numbers don't make well with elusiveness..."
