Personality

Soma dislikes the black-and-white view held by most jedi; preferring her ideology in which everything is a shade of gray. This has gotten her in trouble with the jedi council a few times, but she is far from the type to turn to the dark side.

Soma is unpredictable to those who don't know her well; a single statement can change her mood from friendly to hostile. She is a good judge of character and excels in spotting lies, making her an invaluable asset to the jedi. Her unique personality made her a perfect instructor for Wolfe.

Scars are a source of pride in Kestran culture, which is why Soma proudly displays hers; the scars on her torso, however are both a source of pride and shame: the wound that inflicted those scars also took away her ability to have children. Soma is very sensitive about the fact that she can't have children; on her home planet, Kestra, half of a woman's status is determined by the accomplishments of her children. She wouldn't mind that so much if she weren't an only child. She is the last of her line unless her grandmother somehow produces another child. She has tried time and again to heal her damaged reproductive organs in vain. Being asked if she has any children sends Soma into a depressed state that can last for weeks.

Soma has a deep respect for people with large or impressive scars and finds small or inconsequential scars to be adorable.

Equipment

-Force Abilities: Cloak: Soma can cloak herself from others with the Force. With this ability, she can hide herself from detection from all five senses as well as the Force from all but the mos powerful jedi.
Healing: Soma can heal all minor injuries perfectly and most major injuries often leaving behind a scar of some sort.
Tracking: Soma can use the Force to track her targets across long distances. Once she has caught someone's "scent", she never truly loses their trail; she has been known to track down her prey over several years and solar systems.
Basic Force Abilities: Soma is average in every other aspect of the Force.
-Lightsaber: Soma's lightsaber is a staff saber made from the femur of a large animal with all of the mechanical bits placed inside. Like most of her possessions, it is largely made from materials that she either scavenged or took from one of the many animals she has killed. Soma's lightsaber is green.

History

Soma came from Kestra, a forest planet that is well out of any of the trading routes used by the Republic. The Force ran strong in the women of Soma's family, making them the spiritual leaders of her tribe. Soma's line ends with her, unfortunately, because her reproductive organs were damaged beyond repair during her coming of age ritual.

Soma's abilities were discovered by Sei-Yunga, who took her away to be trained in the ways of the Force.
