Ace
As Ace sat in her chair awaiting her 'gust' she started to get bored. She looked around the room at some of the guards and slave men all around her chair. She yelled out to them all "Do you love me?" they all replied with nodes and some grunts. "Then why do I never have any entertainment! Obviously you do not love me!" The men quickly started to disagree and walk towards her, one man said "No miss we will do anything for you!" Ace then smiled and looked at him "Then fight to the death for my entertainment." She said with a evil grin on her face. The man took and step back and bowed. He pulled his sword out and attacked the nearest man. Soon they both were on the floor fighting. Ace laughed at both the men's lives.

Soon a man ran in and landed on his hands and knees "My dear Ace your we have found your daughter."

Ace smiled and waved her hand dismissing the messenger. Then she looked at the two fighting that have stopped now. "Kill them both." She said coldly, as both men were dragged away to there doom. Then her daughter entered. "Oh honey I thought I never would find you! But because you ran away, you are now grounded and stuck here with me and all of our slaves until you realize what you've done wrong!" Ace envied her daughters youth and liked to keep her locked up so her daughter couldn't live out her young life.

Akane's arms were chained by the two guards, she knelt in front of her mother's throne as she was just staring at the ground.
"You will regret this mother!" She cried out.
"The wisest choice if I were you would to let me go, so I wouldn't be a bother for you anymore and we can stop this hide and seek games." She narrowed her eyes.
All of a sudden her eyes turned to her mother, all of her anger at this point was beyond her limit.
"You disgust me." She said with a cold tone, as she spat in front of the throne.
That was the most disrespectful thing that Akane has ever done or could have done. At this point she started to worry wondering if she would get the death penalty instead of the chamber penalty.
She gulped down with nervousness as she was watching her mother's face turn into thousands of shades of red.

Deca had been wandering throughout the castle for what seemed like hours upon hours, although they most likely weren't. He could still feel the invisible connection between himself and the heart stone, so he knew which way to go almost immediately. The only problem was that the palace itself was very large. He didn't complain, though. Not even a silent sigh escaped his lips. He was very close to finding the stones holder. In fact, as he began to close in on the stone's location, the bond he felt within his being began to grow stronger. He was almost there, now. The dragon-turned-human knew that he had to be stealthly about this situation. As he grew closer to his target, he began pressing his back against the wall, peeking around corners as he scanned the area for guards. He couldn't risk a fight breaking out between himself in the guards. That would completely go against his plans. A couple guards stood walking in a set pattern in the distance. He had to distract them somehow. He looked around for any object he could possibly use to get the task done. In a moment or two, he found it. A single pot that sat near him on a pedestal against the wall. Without hesitation, he lifted the pot and tossed it towards the otherside of the hall.

CRASH! The pot broke on contact with the ground. Did he catch the guards attention, though? Yes he had. The guards quickly burst into the hall and towards the sound. At that same moment, he rushed towards the section of the hall that the guards had been..well...guarding before disappearing around the corner. After another minute or two of walking, he heard noises coming from the down the hall. The tone of the voice indicated that something had gone terribly wrong. "You will regret this, mother!" A feminine voice yelled, the shout echoing throughout the corridors and into the boy's ears. He continued his trek down the hall, albeit at a faster pace. Stopping against another wall, he peeked around the corner and into what he assumed was the throne room. The minute his eyes fell upon her, he knew that he had found the holder of his stone. A girl knelt down in the center of the throne room, held down by two guards. When she proceeded to spit on the throne of the palace's ruler, he knew that he had no choice but to intervene. He had already formed a plan.

He merely strolled into the throne room, down towards Ace. The aura surrounding his presence would immediately display his inner strength. Deca stepped in front of Ace's throne and kneeled down before her, humbly. His head slowly tilted up, his eyes looked deep into her's with a determined yet stoic expression. "Let me take it from here, your majesty. I will personally make sure that the princess never escapes again." He asked of her, seeking to be hired as personal guard of the princess herself. The entire time, his eyes never left her gaze. "If you need proof of my loyalty, then ask me of it."

Akane turned her head, it was a young male that was offering Ace to make sure Akane was captured, the room felt strangely familiar, like as if he was her child hood friend or they just knew each other forever. She glared at him with anger. The boy was staring at the nervous wreck of Ace, waiting for a reply.
"Who are you? And how did you even get in here?" She yelled out, with a frustrated tone.
Her finger pointed at the young male,
"You must be sick to work for her, sick in the head! I tell you she's pure insanity, you must be as well to desire to ever work for her." Scolding the boy who was completely ignoring her, she looked at Ace who seemed to have a smirk on her face. Akane knew at that point that Ace was going to allow her to be captive under this stranger's rules. She let out a sigh of despair, looking down at the red carpet that was leading towards the throne.
She tried to push the guards off of her but it was pointless.

Ace was disgusted with the display her daughter was putting on, when she was about to tell the guard to take her away. A boy walked in, he seemed trust worthy but something about the boy. Pure, strong and kind this was the first impression she got from him. Ace almost knew instantly that this boy was no good, but he was so attractive, Ace couldn't even deny a healthy strong young man anything. She smiled when he offered to prove his loyalty, Ace stood up and walked towards the boy. "I trust you but I want you to make sure my daughter stays inside these castle walls. And if she ever leaves, I will personally ruin your life." Ace smiled and returned to her seat.

The dragonic being couldn't help but smile, not only at the lingering fact that the ruler of the kingdom herself had given him a fraction of her trust, but also at knowing his plan was successful in every way possible. Slowly, he released the grip his right hand had on the hilt of 'Arcanum', letting his hand drop to his side. The time had finally arrived. Deca quickly got back on to his feet. Steadily, and without hesitation, he turned around to face the girl who he had been purposely ignoring for the sake of his plans fruitation. He stopped abruptly as he gave Ace a side glance. "As you wish." the dual swordsman spoke firmly before continuing his trek forward towards the two guards. He put one hand on the shoulder of the guard on the right. "I can take it from here. Please return to your duties." the teenager spoke with a tone abundant with silent fierceness that immediatly caused both guards to release the princess and exit the throne room with haste. He put both hands on the princesses waist, looking into her eyes. "Come with me now, princess." Deca said, lifting her up and placing her over his shoulder as he carried her back to her chambers.

After a moment or two, the two of them had returned to where the teens search throughout the castle had began: The Princesses Room. He wasted no time placing her on her bed, he himself taking a seat in front of her. Quickly making sure to ignore any ill-intended remarks thrown his way, he introduced himself. "I apologize for meeting you under these circumstances but it was the best way to gain your mother's trust. My name is Deca Animus Ragnarok. Ask any question you desire an answer from me to and I will answer without delay." He assured her, his calm gaze affirming his promise of supplying much needed answers to the most likely confused princess. The dragon child spoke with a sense of relaxing familiarity, as if he had known her for her entire life. As he waited for her reaction to this strange turn of events, he couldn't help but ponder what the future held for the two of them and their future master-servant relationship.

Ace. From the moment he looked into her eyes, he knew all that he possibly needed to know about the royal ruler. The conversation he heard going on between her and her royal subjects confirmed this fact. She was a manipulative tyrant that wanted nothing more then her own desires to be fulfilled. The way that she was casually able to manipulate two guards to murder each with only her exterior beauty and wit made her out to be a very dangerous opponent indeed. Something desperately had to be done. Perhaps, when she was old enough, this princess could take over the throne and change the way the kingdom and its territory were run.

At this point Akane was beyond puzzled, who was this guy? He seemed to be familiar.
"Wh-who are you? Do I know you from somewhere? You seem to be so familiar.." Said Akane in a soft tone, so that the guards wouldn't come inside.
"You won't hurt me right? I can trust you..?" A suspicious glare was sent towards Deca.
Akane tried to stay quiet about the heart stone, just in case this was a set up of some sort.
"And please don't call me Princess, call me Akane or Aki.."
"And thank you, from saving me from the chambers. Even though I don't know you I feel like I do." She gave out a sigh.

"Good question." The boy answered back. His facial expression seemed to remain stoic, yet was noticeably softer. He stood out of the chair that he had taken a seat in, staring out the window with a calm expression, as if he were pondering the answer to that question for himself as well as the girl who had asked it. After a moment or two of complete and utter silence, he slowly shifted his gaze back on to the princess. He took a short, almost unnoticeable breath before he proceeded to answer her question in the very best way that he could. "As I said before, human, my name is Deca Animus Ragnarok. As it turns out, I am not actually of your species... or any species in this realm for that matter." He partially answered the first question. At this point, not even he could explain everything completely. He decided, instead, to explain the bits and pieces that the stone had merely allowed him to have knowledge of within his subconscious at the time of his 'birth'.

The boy spoke rather softly, in order to not raise any means of alert to anyone who may have been casually listening from outside of the room. "You know me just as I know you." He slowly lifted up his right hand, placing it gently against the part of her chest where the stone sat, just above her heart. "The Heart Stone. The mystical gem inside of you. I was born from it and may or may not have been apart of it prior to coming into existence. Whether or not I am merely the stone realizing itself into a human form or just an apparition of some sort, I am connected with it, therefore I am connected with you." He paused for a moment, allowing the princess to absorb the rather complex information that was given to her. He didn't mean for it to come out the way that it did. The teenager had no other way of explaining the connection between the two of them other then the one that was just given.

When the girl asked if she could possibly trust the boy, he smiled, although it appeared as a smirk unintentionally. "Of course you can trust me, Princes--Akane." He corrected himself at her request to be referred to in an informal fashion. "I am you're servant from this day forward. I will let no harm fall upon you. That is a promise." He paused once more, although this time for a slightly shorter time. His eyes slightly widened, as there was a specific fact that he had forgotten to elaborate on. "When I said that I was not apart of your species, I meant it. I was born into the shape and form of a Dragon. From what I know, it's merely mythical in the eyes of humans. In may in fact -be- mythical, as I am not actually of draconic species either. I can take the form of a human at will, which is what you see before you now."

He nodded when she thanked him, though he wasn't familiar with the notion of gratitude. " 'You're Welcome' would be the right response, correct? All the same, any more questions?"

Akane slowly shook her head to the boy's question while staring at his face, shocked by the fact that he was actually a dragon in human form. Her eyes changed direction, all she did was stare straight forward. She was soaking in all the information she was just informed of. This was giong to be interesting, she isn't the only one who knows about the heart stone. A slight sigh came out, she turned her eyes back to him and calmly said.
"Please, don't call yourself a servant of mine. You're not my slave or some sort, do whatever you please. If you want I'll call you my partner in crime, but not servant." Akane shook her head.

She let out a giggle that turned into a laugh, due to the shock of what just happened.
"I can't believe my mother was ignorant to the fact that you would actually help me instead of locking me up." A smile came to her face, flashbacks of her mother in her head agreeing to let Deca take care of her.

Akane got up from the bed and made a bee line towards Deca, she extended her arm for a handshake.
"Well I guess it's just you and me. You're the only one I can trust." A large grin came on her face.
"So what now?" She curiously asked her new partner, since she has no clue what to expect from now on.

"Please, don't call yourself a servant of mine. You're not my slave or some sort, do whatever you please. If you want I'll call you my partner in crime, but not servant." Deca was initially surprised that she motioned to treat him and her on equal ground rather then forming a typical master-servant relation with one another. He felt a strange feeling within him, something he hadn't experienced. Could it have been happiness? Relief? He couldn't tell, at least not at the moment. All the same, he nodded in acceptance. "Partner..in crime? Alright then." He agreed. He was relieved at the fact that she seemed to take this with semi-stride, making it less tough on him to have to explain every detail, especially knowing the fact that he himself didn't know exactly what had caused these series of events to occur in the first place. Deca set his gaze towards the grand window once more, staring out at the excess land that stretched beyond what his eyes could capture within his sights. He sighed, as if he were trying to recollect himself, before turning back towards the princess.

She laughed with such prevalent confidence that it almost amused him. "I can't believe my mother was ignorant to the fact that you would actually help me instead of locking me up." Akane said, smiling largely. While he didn't show it on the exterior of his face, he was mildly satisfied with the successfulness of his endeavor. "It would be best if your mother, the ruler of this kingdom, did not know my true identity. To you, I am your protector. To her, I am merely your keeper. Remember this." He reminded of the princess, making sure to let her know that this secret was meant to be kept between the two of them exclusively. His eyes slightly widened when she quickly rushed towards him, extending her arm outward towards him for a formal handshake. While he didn't have a clue as to what the gesture was meant to signify, he figured that copying the action would suffice. He extended his arm outwards towards her, the two meeting in the middle as he grasped her hand. With one soft shake, he released.

"So what now?" The girl asked. Now that was a question that he knew the answer to. He shifted his gaze towards the door for a moment, then back to her. "The purpose of my existence is to protect you from harm. The stone within you, the one from which I came from, is of great importance. Many people will want the stone's power for their own selfish ideals. For as long as this human form lasts, I will keep you and the stone out of the hands of those people. He said the entire sentence without taking a single, noticeable breath and with a solid tone. "What we do now, Ma--Partner, is up to you. Your mother had forbidden from leaving the palace...of course, dragons born of the stone's power, such as myself, are skilled in the art of stealth. It is your choice to make." He concluded, leaving the choice of how to proceed forward to her. At least for this one instance, that is.

A part of him would slightly rather stay, though. He couldn't risk ruining the trust he had acquired of Ace.

Akane thought about it for a bit, they didn't have any excuse to leave the castle. It wasn't like they were in danger or anything. She thought they'll both might as well be safe in the castle.
"I don't see any point in leaving the castle Deca, were both safe here. It's not like we're being chased or anything." She laughed.
She looked around her room and realized that she was suppose to stay in the chambers yet again her room was in the other wing of the castle, the wing her mother never visited.
"We'll I guess we're room mates now. You can sleep on the bed, I can have the floor. I honestly insist. I just hope you don't snore." Akane's serious face turned into a laugh.
"We just need to stay a bit quiet." She added, shocked that she admitted she had to be quiet.

An idea popped in Akane's head. She grabbed Deca's hand and stormed out of her room.
"Today you're getting a tour of the castle by yours truly." She laughed looking straight forward at the corridor. The castle was quite feminine, due to the fact that there hasn't been a male ruler in years. Ever since Akane's father's presence no longer existed, her mother had a complete make over for the castle. Wondering around for a while she still had his grip in her hands. She stopped and popped her head trough the throne room's door. Surprisingly her mother wasn't there.
Akane turned her head to Deca. "Is there any specific room you want to see up close?"

"I don't see any point in leaving the castle Deca, were both safe here. It's not like we're being chased or anything." Akane replied, following up with a quick laughter, as if the thought of the idea were ridiculous in itself. He honestly couldn't disagree, as if he were to disobey any direct orders from Ace, he would risk ruining his covert protection of Akane from within the castle itself. It was best to play it safe. He silently sighed to himself, his eyes turning to take a more detailed look around the room. The castle itself was built with a noticeable 'feminine' touch to it, most likely in direct correlation with Ace's taste in house décor. The Princess's chambers weren't an exception to this, it seemed. "Wise choice." He continued to speak in a whisper-like tone, in order to avoid alerting any nearby guards. "I wouldn't want to risk putting you in the way of your mothers wrath by taking you out of the castle without reason. The best thing to do would be staying within the castle's walls." The draconic boy soundly agreed. A moment of silence passed between the two of them, Deca beginning to take a deeper look into his thought process before Akane piped up once more.

"We'll I guess we're room mates now. You can sleep on the bed, I can have the floor. I honestly insist. I just hope you don't snore." She laughed once more, breaking any tension that may have been slowly building up between the two of them during that particular moment of silence. Even though she insisted that Deca take the Princess's bed as his private resting place, he quickly turned down her offer, waving his hand in a declining gesture. "No, No. I'd rather you take the bed. I'll sleep on the floor. It's nothing to worry about, Akane." He insisted, deciding to decline her invitation. "We just need to stay a bit quiet." She continued on. Deca had no initial idea as to why she would say such a thing but quickly assumed that it was merely because of the guards who usually stayed posted outside of the door to protect the princess from 'uninvited guests'. That sounded just about right, anyway.

Deca turned away from her, looking out the window. The sun was beginning to set. It was a brilliant sight to behold. The sunset was what happened to be the first thing Deca saw upon his birth into existence. From that day onward, no matter how many times he had seen it before, it always seemed to instill him with a sense of nostalgia. Just when he was about to retreat into a casual daydream, a rouge hand grabbed his own. "Today you're getting a tour of the castle by yours truly." Deca raised an eyebrow at this, his eyes slightly widening in surprise.

"T-Tour...? He slighted stuttered out, unsure of what to make of this as he was pulled into the hallway. It didn't take long before they reached the throne room. In the room sat a single, empty throne. Ace must have went to do some business of her own. "Is there any specific room you want to see up close?" She asked him.

He blinked twice. He had never been in a castle before, so this was a first for him. He responded in a completely honest tone. "Well, I've never been in a castle before. I've only seen the throne room and your room. I've heard talks of a royal dining hall from a few of the guards I passed. I am slightly curious about it, as well." He replied, with a straight face.

Akane smiled, and nodded her head. "Alright dining room it is, then chambers and the library." She tightened her grip to his hand and started pacing as fast as she could in the hallway, forcing Deca to run. Before they turned left in the hallway she stopped unexpectedly which caused the two to collide. "Ow. Sorry that's my fault." Akane said as she was looking left to right of the corridors, surprisingly there were no guards. Akane thought to herself how easy of a job these guards have. She lead the way turning left in the hallway, her pace turned into a fast run. She almost lost Deca's grip but she caught it and hold it tight.

Once they got to the royal dining room she slowly opened the door and the two of them walked in, there was no one there.
"The coast is clear, we can talk loud now!" She said shouted in a challenging loud voice. Akane let out a laugh.
"Oh I'm sorry." Noticing that she was squeezing his hand she let go. Akane hasn't been in the royal dining room for ages, she felt like she was in another castle. She walked by the empty table sliding her hand on the smooth wood. "It's been forever since I ate in this room." The royal dining room was extremely large and wide, a long table with about fifty or more chairs was in the center, and in the front of the table was another small royal throne. The floor was full of marble, and the sides had columns made of marble, and the walls were covered with flags of the Hira Kingdom.

Akane sighed, a sudden growl entered the room. She laughed. "Are you hungry? Maybe we can sneak in the kitchen and get some food?"

The girl began almost immediately after Deca told her of his curiosity pertaining to the royal dining hall of the castle. "Alright dining room it is, then chambers and the library." Deca raised a brow. The princess seemed to have everything planned out without having to put much thought into it. "Alright then. Let's beg--" The teen didn't even have time to complete his sentence before he was whisked away by Akane who held tightly to his hand. Hm. He was beginning to gain more of a firm grasp over Akane's personality. Energetic, Fun-loving, Acts before she things (at least from what he had seen so far). From what he could tell, the two of their personalities appeared to be sharply contrasting to his own. Just when then two of them were getting ready to turn a corner, Akane stopped abruptly, causing the two to collide with a nearby wall. Deca recovered quickly, rubbing the top of his head. Clutz. Add that to the list of defining adjectives as well.

"Ow. Sorry that's my fault." She apologized. He merely blinked in reply. "Erm...no problem." He said back to Akane, who looked both ways as she scanned the area for guards. Before Deca could begin a single thought, his body was being pulled away once more. He was able to keep up, but only just barely. The entire time, though, his serious expression never seemed to waver. It molded into a mixture of stoic confusion and curiosity the longer this tour seemed to drag on. He couldn't say why, at least not with words of speech. After a couple minutes, they reached their destination: The Royal Dining Hall. Akane led the way inside, opening the door. "The coast is clear, we can talk loud now!" She wasted no time transitioning her tone of voice back to normal. Deca kept silent, scanning around the room with his solemn expression. It really was magnificent. Almost breath-taking. It was hard to believe that someone like Ace could possibly decorate such a room.

As the two walked inside together, his eyes dropped down to their hands. Akane's hand still clutched his. Akane, seemingly surprised, quickly let go with a hasty apology. Deca nodded, waving off the notion that she may have thought she were making him uncomfortable. "It's been forever since I ate in this room." The princess seemed to be enjoying the room as much as he were. He couldn't tell right off the bat, but he wondered if she were remembering something. Possibly an enjoyable past time of hers.

"Are you hungry? Maybe we can sneak in the kitchen and get some food?" She suggested. Immediately, Deca thought it was a bad idea. "Sneak into the kitchen? Wouldn't that get you in trouble with your mother?" He asked. Could she have done this more then once? If so, he wondered how she had gotten away with it for so long.

"Of course not, I've done it for more than a million times. My mother usually locks me up in my room, and just hopes that I magically don't starve to death. But the truth is, I sneak in at night or during the day and grab as much food as I can." She laughed. Akane pointed towards the kitchen it was on the right side of the Dining room, she nodded her hand and grabbed his hand. She turned her head towards Deca and made a "Shh." Gesture with her other hand.

The two of them walked into the kitchen, there were no chefs or anyone else inside. Akane had no need to turn on the lights since they were already turned on. "Alright, eat whatever you want. It's on the house!" She laughed to her cheesy joke. As the both of them were all over the place in the kitchen eating, the sound of approaching foot steps was heading towards them. Akane whispered out loud. "Oh crap! Hide!" She ran towards the closet but ran back to grab a pan just in case. She quickly opened the closet and pushed Deca inside and closed the doors. It was silence in that small dark small area. The door opened and a guard came inside.
"Whose in here?" It was obvious that someone was in the kitchen it was all messy. Akane was scared at this point she held the pan in her other hand and grabbed Deca's jacket with the other. She could see the guard walking around, making sudden loud noises looking for the two. She looked at Deca for one split second as the closet's doors opened. Out of panic she threw the pan at the guard and booked it with Deca out from the door. The only sight of the guard was Akane's pink hair.

Akane grabbed Deca's arm and booked it towards the chambers. "C'mon, quickly!" She yelled out, they finally reached the end of the corridors and ran down the steps. The scenery changed from luxury into a scary castle cellar. There were no lights in the chambers, just torches, rats, and darkness. Akane stopped for a moment, grabbed the bars of a cellar and locked herself inside. With the lights from the torches she could see a puzzled look on Deca's face. At this point Akane was out of breath, she had to bend down and catch some air into her lungs. "Damn." She whispered to herself.

"Of course not, I've done it for more than a million times. My mother usually locks me up in my room, and just hopes that I magically don't starve to death. But the truth is, I sneak in at night or during the day and grab as much food as I can." Deca slowly nodded. As much as he hated to admit it, she actually -did- have a solid point. Her mother didn't seem to be the 'caring' or the 'nurturing' type to begin with, so it would make sense that she would have to fend for herself to get what she wanted. At the far right of the dining room, as Akane quickly pointed out, was the main kitchen. His hand was grabbed once more as Akane led him in a stealth-like motion, gesturing for him to move as quietly as he could. Deca merely smirked. Stealth was something that all of his kind were greatly skilled in. When she gave the signal, he was able to distribute his wait evenly to the point where he didn't make a single sound. Not even a stray breath escaped his mouth. Without hesitation, the two moved into the kitchen successfully. It seemed like the first part of the mission was over. For now, in the very least. "Alright, eat whatever you want. It's on the house!" Akane sprang up, smiling and laughing soon afterwards.

Deca wondered. As a dragon connected and created by the Heart Stone, did he even need to eat at all? Most likely the answer would be yes, in order to sustain his human form. All the same, he didn't know what 'hunger' actually felt like. His curiosity peaked to the point where he was getting ready to ask Akane for details before the sound of approaching footsteps interrupted his train of thought. "Oh crap! Hide!" She didn't even have to say it. Deca was already getting ready to hide himself. Akane had a better idea, though. His hand still gripped by hers, she led him into nearby closet, but not before grabbing a frying pan to defend herself with. He winced at this. He was quickly forced inside with Akane, the door's being shut behind the two of them. He could head the footsteps looming closer to their position. It wouldn't be long now. They would quickly be found and escorted to the throne room itself, to face judgment from the kingdom's very own ruler.

"Whose in here?" The guard asked loudly. It didn't help that they had left a huge mess in the area. He felt the back of his jacket being grabbed. Could Akane have been nervous about the situation at hand? Deca and Akane looked to each other before the door flew open. Reacting rather hastily, Akane swung the pan downward towards the poor guards head, knocking him out cold. Before he could respond to what had just occurred, he was already being forced into running away with his 'partner'. He guessed now that the term 'partners in crime' truly did fit after all. Before long, the two entered into a different chamber. It didn't take long for Akane to comment on the puzzled expression on his face.

"Erm..."

Ace was silently sitting in her bedroom, she had many political items to address. Ace stood up and began to pace the room, "I need a bigger army, stronger men and a loyal general to lead my troops into action!" Ace now knew she needed a strong male to help her lead her kingdom, but one that could be easily manipulated would be even nicer. She opened her door leading into her throne room, "What a nice day, my daughter found a new body guard and I get to collect taxes from my people soon!" Ace loved money, almost as much as she loved her looks.

All of the sudden a guard ran into the throne room. "My dear Ace." He quickly fell on one knee and bowed to her. Ace smiled at this poor man "Yes solider what is it?" Ace tried to sound kind though on the inside she was quite annoyed at the guard busting into her throne room. "The Princess was in the kitchen I believe! She threw a pan and than ran away!" The guard was extremely panicked but almost pleased at tattling on the Princess.

Ace smiled, "Ah my little girl is running around somewhere in the castle, huh? Guards! We have to find my daughter!" She stormed down the hallway to the kitchen. The guard that saw her was at Aces side, "I saw her go that way my dearest!" said the guard. Ace stormed down the hallway and that is when she saw Deca. "What are you doing here!" She was furious at the boy, then as she closed in on the boy she saw her daughter behind bars. She stopped and thought about it for a little bit then took a step back. "I am sorry for the commotion, but I have a guard here that tells me my daughter was running around the kitchen. And I would love to take my little baby girls side." Ace made a kissy face mocking her daughter and pinched her cheeks. "But you see I cannot trust her anymore, so if you would be so kind to explain to me what happened her I would be very grateful." Ace smiled a evil smile at the boy, she really didn't know if her daughter was running around or not but maybe this boys explanation would clear things up.

Akane walked up slowly to the bars that were separating the two and grabbed them, letting out a sigh of despair. "I'm really sorry Deca, I swear to you this never happened before." She shook her head. "Someone will probably come down and check up on us, so please try to put on an act when they do come." Akane had a ticked off look on her face. "Please don't be mad, I really didn't know we'd get in trouble. As for the guy..well he deserved it for working for my.." She gagged to the up coming word. "Mother." A small giggle came out, remembering the guard that was knocked cold on the floor. "You must admit, it was funny how he fell on the floor, from a frying pan." Akane tried to brighten up the atmosphere from the grotesque chamber.

Akane turned her head, as her hands were still clutched to the bars. She was staring at the stair case. "I wonder if a guard is coming. If they won't be here in an hour we're leaving." Her tone turned serious.

A short pause entered the room."Wait..I hear someone, coming."

It was her mother Ace, this would be interesting. Ace touched her face mocking her, she slapped her had when she pinched her cheeks. Afterwards she listened to the hundreds of questions she was about to ask Deca. Akane had her fingers crossed, hoping that Deca wouldn't mess up.

"I'm really sorry Deca, I swear to you this never happened before." Deca winced at her apology. It was beginning to look as if this would be apart of his daily routine from this day onward. All the same, he accepted it. She meant well, so there was no reason to leave her acts unforgiven. "Someone will probably come down and check up on us, so please try to put on an act when they do come." Deca turned away from the fearful girl. She had already done good by locking herself in one of the most creepy, unhealthy cellars in the castle. He turned to Akane once more, a stoic look on his face. "Do not believe anything I say. Do not believe anything I do. Only trust in me. Your partner." He assured her. His eyes quickly turned away from her gaze as he heard footsteps coming towards the cellar. Storming down the hallway in a fit of furious angst and rage was Ace herself. "What are you doing here!" She shouted. Suddenly, her expression became that of an amused one once she saw her daughter in the cage.

"I am sorry for the commotion, but I have a guard here that tells me my daughter was running around the kitchen. And I would love to take my little baby girls side." This was it. Deca had to find some way to leave Akane and himself without suspicision. Unfortunately for Akane, Deca was about to unleash a side of him that she had never seen before. "But you see I cannot trust her anymore, so if you would be so kind to explain to me what happened her I would be very grateful." The draconian boy fiercely gazed within Ace's eyes as he explained what had happened. No trace of dishonesty could be found on his voice. "I left two guards posted out here to watch Akane. To make sure she didn't escape, whilst I guarded her from further away. She must have got ahold of the guards key's and escaped. She didn't get far, though. I was waiting for her in the royal dining hall, where I found two unconcious guards. I dragged her back here and locked her up once more, taking on the responsibility of guarding this cellar personally."

Deca gave Akane a side-glance. This one was different, though. The look in his eyes completely lacked emotion. Only a sense of coldness and inhumane distaste that couldn't have been that of a human's eyes. No. It was that of a dragon, who's wrath was looming upon an unsuspecting meager female. In the blink of an eye, his hand swooped up to grip the hilt of his blackest blade: Solum, undrawing it and pointing the tip of it directly at Akane's face. "You insolent wench. The very next step you take from within the bars of this cage, you will immediately wish for a swift death that will never come. Only weeping and gnashing of teeth that will never be heard. Let these words burn within your very soul." Deca turned back to Ace, the same cold expression on his face harboring the ability to even make Ace shivery in repentance if she were to look into his eyes.

"If anyone is to be punished here, it is I. Leave the princess to me." He reassured her.

Ace stared into the boys eyes, there was something different about him now. He seemed serious almost evil, but that is exactly what she wanted. As he started to tell his tail she noticed that not only did the boys look change slightly also the feeling of being around him made Ace feel sick to her stomach, as if he was some powerful force.

Ace normally likes to check with the other guards but something told her not to. Ace had never felt scared of a man before but this boy had something special about him. Ace swallowed hard and looked into his eyes. "Alright, I believe your story checks out. But if she ever escapes again I will take you off guard duty and me and you can get a little more personal." She said seductively. "I will leave you in control of any guards that you may cross, and if needed you can trasport my daughter to any given place as long as you contact me first and you stay with her at all times." Ace has never met a boy like this before he was confident around her and seemed like he wasn't scared of her what so ever. She loved it, hopefully her daughter will learn some respect from this boy!
