Appearance/Image: Esok for lack of a better word is built like a tank, with dense and well developed muscles that lend him an air of brutality. This perception is not helped in the least by the armour and weaponry he is never seen without . There is among some a bet to see if he takes it off when the need to sleep arises. His facial features are not suited for the smiles and laughter some indulge in and seems naturally suited to deep and serious overtones. Esok also believes in keeping his cut rather short as long hair is simply another grabbing point for an enemy. This high and tight buzz cut only adds to the severity of his overall features as well. True to the Mandalorian principle of being well equipped Esok has had several cybernetic implants installed. Most fit the Republican standards of legality, at least the ones he'll admit to having. For the most part the implants do little beyond giving modest increases to physical attributes. His implanted status is most readily recognisable by the small data port he has at the back of his neck about an inch below the top of the brain stem.

Personality

Personality Overview: Esok is a Mandalorian, a warrior culture that brought the known galaxy to it's knees more then once. And as a result of that he is a warrior through and through. Not exactly the most subtle of people Esok prefers to let his weapons and skills do the talking, seeing anything beyond that a waste of time. After all he isn't going to live forever, why waste time dancing around the issue when a blaster to the face gets what you want right away. A silent man both by nature and practice it is hard to get him to say much about anything, he justifies this by saying no one is paying him to have an opinion.
Quirks: Though Esok is a Mandalorian and believes in flashing his blaster if things are taking to long he shows a distinct dislike of mindlessly engaging in combat. Always willing to spar, especially with a good opponent he however sees no need in needlessly increasing the suffering in the galaxy. Don't expect him to support your plans to kill simply because you can, Mandalorian honor is after all Mandalorian honor.
Likes:
Training- No one is too wise to learn after all.

Dislikes:
New Recruits- Is it so much to ask they learn what end of a blaster to point at an enemy before signing up.
Mindless Brutality- An obsession with power is a sign of weakness and cowardly dishonour.
Naggers- If I didn't answer you the first thousand times what makes you think it'll work this time.
Fears:
Esok as a Mandalorian fears what his happening to his people, the loss of the unity that made their people great. Though he is no legendary leader like the Mandalores of old he wishes sometimes he could do something for them.
Personal Goals:
Esok has what some would call a pipe dream, the restoration of his people to their once great state. This is of course a goal few truly know of and one he never has publicly announced.

Equipment

Ranged Weapons:
Westar-34 twin Dallorian blaster- A pair of silver coloured light blaster pistols made from dallorian alloy they are designed specifically for close range combat. With a firing speed far above the norm and fire power that would put some full sized rifles to shame these pistols are the legacy of a now dead father.
Westar-M5 blaster rifle- A black blaster rifle that can be calibrated to fire in semi-automatic, automatic, and burst-fire modes. Designed to be modular it is capable of accepting any number of attachments. Currently Esok has a single round pump action missile launcher attached to it. Accurate and in Mandalorian tradition high powered it can be used to great effect by those who take time to learn how it handles. Also a legacy of his now dead father.
Melee Weapons:
Short Sword Vibroblade- A short sword length vibroblade it uses a ultrasonic generator to cause the blade to vibrate at an incredible speeds. This turns even glancing blows into gaping wounds. This particular example is somewhat old though like all Mandalorian weapons superbly made and even more so this one has been fitted with a cortosis weave.
Armor:
Modified Trooper Armour- Though more at home in the beskar plating of a Mandalorian warrior Esok as a Republican Trooper has to wear the uniform. This of course is wholly unacceptable and in the grand tradition of Mandalorians has modified his armour so as to be well equipped. Though retaining an outward stock appearance the internal components have been overhauled. Key areas have had kinetic under padding added underneath the Durasteel plating with selected areas being reinforced with a cortosis weave. In addition several monitoring systems were installed that increase both the strength and range of the radar displayed on the helmet's HUD. The armour's ability to withstand electro-magnetic attacks has been increased resulting in the electrical systems operating under all but the most intense electro-magnetic attacks. Last but not lest a thin beskar layer has been applied to the outer Durasteel surface of the armour. Though not thick enough to stop every attack like pure beskar the layer allows the armour to fare better under heavy attack then the standard issue sets. The only stock feature aside from it's look that Esok kept was it's vacuum seal, which allows a trooper to operate in open space. Though even this was modified slightly to include a larger tank of compressed oxygen, allowing a greater amount of time in zero g.

Fighting style and Techniques:
Mandalorian Melee Combat ( Armed and Unarmed)- A brutal mix of fast and intense strikes combined with the legacy of countless generations of war a student of Mandalorian Melee combat is just as deadly with his fists as he is with a blade.

Mandalorian Basic Training- The Mandalorian's are very harsh task masters when it comes to teaching anything, let alone their ways of war. A student who manages to pass their training regime should pat themselves on the back.

Mandalorian Advanced Training- The Mandalorian's are unforgiving when it comes to teaching their most intimate secrets of war, you either pass this course or the galaxy will never see you or even your body ever again.

Mercenary Combat- The experiences of a mercenary teach you everything there is to know about war and fighting, provided you live long enough.

Republic Training- Being a melting pot of races and ideals the Republican military is a great place to truly develop an understanding of how the galaxy fights.

History

Background: Born on the Mandalorian homeworld of Manda'yaim the future Republican Trooper was from a very young age well versed in the warrior traditions of his proud forefathers. This was due in entirety to his harsh and overbearing father Spar who was deeply tradtional and made sure his only child would carry on the legacy of what it meant to be Mandalorian. Some would say the pressure Esok was put under was the result of his mother and Spar's wife Satine dying of an assassin's bullet, a killer hired by a jealous suitor whom Spar had beaten in a duel for the affections of Satine. Though Spar later found this out and killed both the assassin and the jealous suitor with his bare hands he was still left with only one child to carry on his legacy.

This was of course a subtly that flew over the then three year old Esok's head. Going through a period of childish grief he soon put it behind him as the training regime of Spar kicked into over drive. From the age of 5 to 18 Spar would be the sole influence on the marital development of his son. And rather then limiting his knowledge it seemed to focus him, allowing Esok to adsorb nearly everything the first time through. Till at the age of seventeen he was one of the finest melee experts in his clan.

At this point in his life Esok was required to undergo the traditional test of his worth and manhood. Joining a group of Mandalorian warriors that had been contracted to perform sabotage against a corporate headquarters he was tasked with breaking in through a vent and deactivating the security lock down. Armed with only an old short sword vibroblade Esok in one of his few displays of subtly broke in without alerting anyone to his presence. Gaining access to the security systems he opened the doors for his fellow Mandalorians. Then he picked up a DC15A blaster rifle from a nearby locker and joined in on the sabotage. They were in and out before anyone realized it and Esok had passed his test of manhood in a bloodless fell swoop, much to the displeasure of his father. Spar officially however praised his son's wit and subtly.

His manhood proved Esok joined that same group of Mandalorian warriors, honing his already impressive skills with the training and stories they offered. At the age of 22 he proved they had nothing left to teach him and in grand Mandalorian tradition they presented him with the iconic armour the galaxy had learned to fear the sight of. The beskar plate that could resist even a lightsaber's fury and the second skin that few Mandalorian's willing parted with. Armoured and armed with the DC15A blaster rifle he won from his tests he along with the group he joined cut a swath through any contract offered them.

Life went on comfortably like this for awhile, the motions of mercenary life became second nature. Esok however gradually became disenchanted with the bloody and cruel life of a gun for hire. The grand tales of Mandalorian conquest and honour had been his bread and butter his whole life and fighting for money hardly seemed in the grand Mandalorian tradition. Returning home to Manda'yaim to hopefully gain a new perspective Esok instead was in time to witness the death of his father at the hands of a incurable disease that nearly claimed his own life. Recovering from it the mercenary buried his father and gave away all of Spar's belongings expect for his father's weapons. Taking them with him Esok instead buried Spar Moda with the DC15A blaster rifle he won during the tests.

Disenchanted with mercenary life and longing for a stability that seemed beyond the Mandalorian people Esok joined the Republican Army. Where in time he rose to the rank of Captain. Now at the age of forty seven Esok sees a grim and lingering death for his people and longs to change that in some way and somehow. Instead the duty of a Trooper consumes him and like all soldiers his turn at garrison duty comes.
Training:
The marital training of Spar laid the groundwork for the Red Suns, a Mandalorian mercenary band who filled in the gaps Spar purposely left. Between these two Esok was well versed in the arts of Mandalorian combat. Furthermore a life time of fulfilling contracts endowed him with a plethora of skills that ranged from repairing a faulty conduit to flying all kinds of ships. Then last nail in the coffin is the training all Republican Troopers underwent, though it was more a adding to his knowledge then anything else.
Combat Experience:

The harsh sparring expected of all Mandalorian children. This was not the simple sparring of your average young students, some ended up crippled for life and few sometimes died. Way too many contracts as a mercenary to count, needless to say several people were upset at his leaving the mercenary life behind. Esok had a reputation of always getting the job done that endeared employer confidence. Then last but not least there was his experiences as a Republican trooper.
