Appearance: Jason Cross is a tall and slender man. He has black unkempt shoulder-length hair. His eyes are a light hazel brown with black scar-like markings over them, creating the appearance of two crosses when Jason closes his eyes. He is almost always seen with an aloof smile on his face while his posture is usually quite relaxed and serene. He wears a grey sleeveless shirt with a black cross on the side and large black trousers that are held with a large white belt while a black long-sleeved jacket hangs from his back with only Jason's arms within their sleeves preventing them from falling to the ground. A large grey scarf wrapped around his neck, trails behind him.

Background: Jason Cross is a energetic young man who ran away to join the circus at a young age. During his time at the circus, Jason became a clown. As a clown, Jason learned many skills and was more than capable of substituting himself with many of the other performers. However, Jason's circus life came to an end when the circus went bankrupt thanks to a large debt that the ringmaster could not pay. Wanting to continue entertaining the masses, Jason became a travelling performer. However, Jason would one day end up in a bad part of a city and ended up being a witness to an assassination. In order to save his own life, Jason was forced to become a murderer, taking the life of the assassin that had tried to silenced him. However he had been watched by those who lived within the shadows of all civilisations and they found Jason to their liking. Jason would eventually become a killer for hire after realising how easy it was to kill someone. He eventually came to the conclusion that everyone around him were nothing more than illusion and that he was the only real person in the world. With this mindset, Jason could kill without hesitation and feel not a shred of guilt. Thus Jason would live a double life, that of a smiling clown who brought smiles and laughter to his audience and that of a killer with a cold smile who left his victims with a cross-shaped wound in their flesh.
