Nera Tù
Age:
Cant recall, but she would wager that she is older than the human race since in her first incarnation none were to be found, it is to be noted that she comes and goes as the forest requires her assistance
Gender:
:Female: Her manifestation has picked said gender since its the one that can give birth, as such her avatar possess the sleek and slender frame of a female
Sexual Orientation:
Nera Tù is quite fond of the act of mating, it has carried over her due to the energies that summoned her forth, while her mind is focused in the goal of the restoration of balance she likes to mate with female, male or even in the act of pollinating plants
Race:
Manifestation: Akin to a ghost or a spirit, when there are strong emotions and forces involved they may leave a stain in space and time, for example a tragic death might lead to the creation of a ghost that will haunt a place or a life of devotion can forever bless a ground.
In Nera`s case she is the manifestation of a whole forest
She counts with the hooves and horns to give her a good running chance and the ability to charge and stand out if her leadership is once again relied upon
Yet the woods still have its history being so large blood, sweat, tears and many more has been spilled there as well as powerful emotions such as the reunion of two lovers who fought again all odds to be reunited, the betrayal and murder of a father and son, the daily thrill of the hunt the miracle of birth since these emotions are not bound to human`s alone
Then one day it simply happened it, Nera drew breath for the first time and opened her eyes to the darkness beneath the dense roots of Saldavan, yet she did not walked aimlessly in wonder or without a cause, she knew quite well what she had to do and why she had come to be.
At the time, Saldavan was plagued by an unnatural strain which caused the infected to become voracious carriers which in turn spread the disease more and more this defilement spread to every living tissue it could find be it mammals, lizards, bugs and even plants.
Nera Tú form was different back then she took the shape of the deadliest creature nature could have came up with, a long jaw with rows of teeth that would grind flesh, a toxic saliva produced from its mouth from which one drop was enough to kill a bear in seconds, dense hide that pikes would have trouble piercing and the strength to lift a three with as much effort as a human lifts a branch
This monster then sat to carry out what it had conceived to do, hunt down and heal the infection that was encroaching Saldavan.
Nera ripped through the carriers with a savagery that the woods were not likely to see ever again, purification had been given its chance but now only extermination remained and Nera was swift and certain on her strikes, with her purpose fulfilled she returned to the depths to rest.
Centuries passed and a new awakening was required, this time a malevolent cult of humans moved in to Saldavan with the nefarious intention of summoning an ancient hellish horror who had an appetite for blood.
Nera woke to realize that human settlers have moved into her realm they had shown a remarkable respect for the things growing there and much like the wild life that had awakened her before, they now were victims to a predator they were not prepared to face.
So the keeper of Saldavan moved in, now the incarnation was not that of a wild beast but of a mystical embodiment that shared human features in order to be able to coordinate them but retained much of the animal and botanical heritage that had marked it before.
Under the guidance of the keeper the human settlers were rallied under her leadership and struck a terrible and definitive blow to the cultists, with her goals having been met Nera returned to her slumber and abandoned her body.
Now another menace crawls toward Saldavan, entities of great power rule the world in this age yet the maturity they show does not match the wisdom required for such position; the humans that pray to her as a goddess as well as the silent pain of plants and the agony of the beasts in her woods have awakened her once again, she is needed once more
Equipment
- She finds little use for equipment since she herself provides growth for bone, bark and vines.
- In order to pass unnoticed amongst the dominant races of this age, she has procured a wooden mask and a cloak that hide her mystical features such as hoves, leaves and horns to name a few
- She does count with a deadly spear which consists of a large wooden shaft made of the best bark there will ever be and the tip is made of a what could be called a tooth the weapon mixes flexibility, lightweight and firmness
- Pharvos; the spirit eagle
- The Lurlie wolf pack
Magic: Nera Tu`s magic is bound to both the forests that bred her and the life force that joing all living creatures, as such her powers consist mostly of asking favors to this life force and manipulating it for harm or heal
- Life force touch: : were others see death Nera sees only transformation, as some life force spills it comes to drop on other places, she however can move the force from other creatures to avoid the death of a particular individual do note that the greater the healing is required the greater amount of life force shell have to move and since her powers rely mostly on asking for it, the general case will be for living creatures not wanting to sacrifice themselves to heal something that is dying
- Beast hearth: : In ages before mankind existed, Nera Tù`s first incantation was a the greatest predator ever to live, even when words had not yet been said she could communicate with the beats even back then, fortunately this has carried on to this incarnation, she can communicate with other living organisms and call for aid, their cooperation however... remains to be seen
- Manifestation: : It is in Nera Tù´s nature to change much like her woodland does, spring comes and the joy of mating and the blossoming of life will reflect on her, skip to winter and the hunger of the pack and the wittering of plants will befell her
Note that while the potential of harm by the movement of lifeforce is enormous (killing her foes by simply moving their lifeforce away) this feat is not possible since Nera can only move it when the life force wills it, and since the vast majority of organisms has self preservation as one of their top priorities this cant be used offensively
Note: do note that this can be applied to plants as well, but the lack of a nervous system makes it far less practical, if the plant however has some sort of spirit bound to it however things might change
Her armor and physical shape will reflect this, while on spring she might be able to use vine whips from her bark armor, in autumn she will be able to blind enemies in gushes of leaves
