Description: Jiro is somewhat on the tall side (5'8") and rather thin, built with lean muscle. His eyes are blue, slightly tinted violet, and their hue can change depending on the light and on his mood- ranging from stormy grey-blue to blue to violet.
Personality: Overall Jiro is very outgoing, kind and personable. He's very laid-back and easygoing, amiable and generally likeable. He can start a conversation with almost anyone. Almost all the time he wears a carefree, almost dreamlike smile. He is friendly to anyone and everyone, always lighthearted, joking and laughing, and he is a gentleman when interacting with women and girls. Though he makes friends easily and seems very social, that is only on the surface. He tries not to get too close to people for fear that he will bring them trouble or misfortune, due to his being a demon, though he truly wants to be with humans.
His darker side is moody and quiet, and comes out when people mention or point out his demon past. He wants to be able to ignore that, put it behind him, and start a new life among humans. He rarely ever snaps or blows up; he merely becomes silent and sulky, and danger hovers in the air around him. It is never wise to mess with him when he gets like this.
History: Jiro was once a human, many years ago. He was quite a different person then, however. He was the older of two sons, born into an ordinary Japanese family. Jiro was a hardcore delinquent, committing petty crimes without remorse, doing drugs and getting involved in fights. When he was 18 years old, he was killed when he was swept up in a tangle between two enemy gangs in the area, another troubled soul's knife embedded in his neck. To punish him for his wicked life and the misery that he brought to others, he was sent to the demon world, reborn as a full-blooded demon. When he was reborn, he had no memory of his human life. Raised among demons, his personality was completely different than it had been before, and Jiro Fukuda became the kind and caring person that he is seen as now. As a reward for his improvement (or perhaps he was kicked out for being too much of a softie!) he was sent to live in the human world, which he had been wishing to do for most of his life. He was sent back in the same age that he came out of it as, in a way giving him a second chance to live his life. This time is completely different, though, as he is still a full-blooded demon and remembers nothing of the human world, of their customs and culture and mannerisms. Still, Jiro is very happy to be able to be among humans. He wanted to make human friends and experience their sorts of lives, but at the same time, he is afraid to get too involved with them. He thinks that he may cause them misery because he is a demon, though perhaps, with the right person, he can be goaded to overcome this fear.
Likes: being with humans, flowers, sunny days, being outdoors, summer, fruit and fruity drinks, any kind of furry animal, watching old horror movies (which he finds endlessly entertaining)
Dislikes: being reminded of his past and/or demon blood, storms, sushi (makes him sick), overly violent or malicious people
Fears: That he will be sent back to the demon world and/or dying and having to leave the human world, thunder, heights
